Hey everyone, So I've been diving into the audio files for Marvel Heroes (RIP) and thought why let those files go to waste, so I'll be doing some sound sets.

Official Characters:  Voicepacks will replace and update their audio files.
Modded Characters: Character Mod must be installed first before downloading and installing these files. Voicepacks will replace and update their audio files.

ENCHANTRESS MOD/BOOSTER :enchantress:
The Seductive Asgardian Goddess descends with a new skin, new green power effects inspired by Future Fight and a new voice. (I used the female Loki voice as it doesn't have a mod to be used for and it fits the character.) Also updates the enemy Enchantress you fight in Asgard with this new skin.
Credits to the amazing UltraMegaMagnus who converted the skin and made the mannequin.

Maybe as you progress further with this new soundset from Marvel Heroes (again RIP), I hope to get more of Spidey sounds, especially the SpiderGirl&SpiderGwen ones. Other than that, this is really becoming promising for me to try. :spidergirl: :D

Yes! I haven't gotten to look for the Enhanced Costume files (like Spider-Gwen) yet or the voices for the Team Ups, but hopefully I can get them and make some sets :D

I made one with Thor's voice lines. He have the same voice of the AEMH cartoon wich I find awesome.
One question: can you access to the villains sounds? I'm looking for Kraven sounds and it will be very usefull to have any.

Yeah that game had some great models and sounds, so we need to preserve them :D

Also, I haven't gotten to looking at the villians yet, Unfortunately besides the hero files, the others are not sorted. Also unfortunately some files seem to have been hosted on the server and not accesible. For example, Jean's sound files only include her power effect sounds and none of her actualy voice :(

NOTE:Also in my testing unfortunately, just copying over the x_voice.vss file for the menu voices doesn't work and it seems to just replace it with an archived copy once you start the game. You have to use ZSMEditor tool to manually save over your file in your Install Directory. So I will upload it when I have done a few more and do a tutorial.

But fortunately with the main Character voices, you can just extract and replace and they change instantly when you restart the game! Awesome :)

This is an interesting project.  I'm curious, do you think it's possible to also pull voices for the DC characters, i.e. from the injustice games?

You think you could get Doctor Doom cause I was never able to get access to those. I'm not crazy about how he sounds in MUA.

Well hopefully I can crank out all the available voices, I'm just doing it when I can. They don't take too long, the most time consuming part is that the files are just numbers and I have to sit and listen to like 300-500 random clips per character :D, but I've narrowed down an efficent way to organize them thankfully!

You just need to extract it to the directory, I've already pre-assigned them to all the sound catergories.
Characters will say things when you either knock around an opponent or when you kill an opponent, plus voice lines for a variety of other scenarios. (Level-UP, etc)
Plus new voice lines for when they use Xtreme powers.

So you don't need to do anything besides extract and replace :), let me know if you have any troubles.

I love when actors reprise their roles in Marvel stuff, especially when they're as good at the character as he is.

Well funny you say that, Black Panther hopefully will be next!
Scarlet Witch will come a bit later as her voice files were included in a large generic sound package and not individual orgnanised ones like the other characters, so I have to sort through like 10000 audio clips to find it :eek:, but soon as I desperately want her to be done too :)

So are you only doing characters from the base game or would you consider modded characters as well. I think someone like Star Lord could use one cause clips from the movie just sound way too awkward and out of place for me.

The plan is that I'll be doing all the characters, Including non official characters that we have mods for, soon (Star Lord,Angela, Loki, Rocket, etc)

I'll also be doing the Enhanced Skin voices from that game. (Wiccan, Spider-Gwen, Kate-Bishop etc)

I'll also hopefully be able to do some for modded characters who were Team Ups. (Gamora, Angel, Quicksilver etc.) Obivously they will have less audio fles for them but hopefully I can put something together.

I got them from the game steam files, but I assume that person just uploaded the same ones that were in there.
I've slowly started sorting out the files :eek: :eek: :eek: (There are some I'm unclear who they are) but if you wanna send me Thor I would not turn you down ;)

That's where I got mine when I did them. It drove me insane but I pushed through for as long as I could. That's why I'm thankful for Nick cause now I don't have to sit through that and he puts a lot more effort in than I ever could.

So before I actually lose my mind:Some notes from about an hour of starting to sort the almost 20000 sound clips so far.

• EVERY Symbiote costume is in this set, and they all sound similiar. I started sorting them but they are low priority. (Symbiote Rocket is hilarious though)
• Three Deadpool Voices (All amazing): Normal Deadpool, Pirate Deadpool, Cowboy Deadpool. I'll probably make a voiceset for all 3 of these because, why the heck not?
• A lot of voices sound somewhat similar so I'm trying to weed out the easy voices: Thankfully a lot of distinct voices are easy to sort: Thor, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey, Green Goblin, Thing, Blade, Carnage, Deadpool, Rocket Racoon so these will come very soon (PROBABLY)
• Rocket has his classic British Voice but also he has his Movie voice done by Nolan North, which is AMAZING. (He does the voice for Rocket in other things now I think, including Telltale GOTG.) NOTICE: I fixed a major bug with the Hulk pack (the sound effects/power effects bugged in that all 40 of them changed to the same sound lol), so if you've downloaded it I highly recommend downloading it again.

Small update:

IRON MAN :stark: has been updated to function with Nowhere Man's MUA2 Iron Man Mod
(This for me is the ideal Iron Man MUA experience and I highly recommend it, you can find the mod here (http://marvelmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,3554.msg59950.html#msg59950))

It also functions fine with normal Iron Man as well.

Voice files work a bit differently in XML2. The power sounds are separate, but all of the dialogue is located in x_voice.zsm. You'll have to edit some files in order to get it to work.

Just one small thing, though. I really did love the British/Mockney classic voice for Rocket Raccoon on Marvel Heroes. FYI, it was done by VO legend Steve Blum and it just so much represents Rocket Raccoon during his Abnett & Lanning days - which is when I became a fan. To this day, the line "Never doubt a raccoon!" is my favorite Rocket Raccoon quote and is present in that classic voice line set! So, while I cannot speak for all the Raccoonatics out there, I can say the Raccoonatic Commander would indeed be interested in the classic voice. (After all, these days, Rocket's voice on most games *is* based on the movie voice - not that I dislike the MCU voice on Marvel Heroes, but the classic edges it out in preference for me and is what most his costumes had on Marvel Heroes)

Hey! I've actually started sorting through his voice-files, some of the voices are SO similar, but I've been making progress with Deadpool (plus his Pirate and Cowboy ones) I've been sorting through InitialDownloadChunk but there's just SO MANY files that it's taking forever to sort them all out. I'll try and speed up the sorting (hopefully sooner than later) and I'll be happy to send you a folder of his clips when I've done it if you want.

Hank McCoy is my second favorite superhero and, since Rocket Raccoon was a launch hero for Marvel Heroes, Beast was my most wanted hero to be added to the game's roster. Additionally, my first and best friend in the Marvel Heroes community was a huge Beast fan. He was a Rocket fan, too, of course, but having to see him wait so long for his favorite hero to be added was tough. When the last hero spot in Advance Pack 3 was announced to be up to popular opinion, I campaigned for him big time, designed a banner, even reached out to Marvel Games' Bill Rosemann, who was following me on Twitter, and told him my friend's story. Beast did end up winning that slot and my friend was even allowed to write the official announcement topic on forums - but, ultimately he was released less than a year before the game shut down, I believe. Never got to play him as much as I should have...

On topic, Fred Tatasciore did a great job as Beast for Marvel Heroes (a role he had previously performed in the Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon) and I really appreciate having those voice lines available again. Thank you.

Was thinking of the modded MUA because October 1st is International Raccoon Appreciation Day. 2018 is the first IRAD since I became a Rocket fan where I can't play Marvel Heroes. But I see you're still working on this project and making lots of progress. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to have Marvel Heroes Rocket voice again by IRAD 2019.  *insert rocket raccoon emote*

It'd be awesome to Twitch stream MUA for IRAD, too, but I'd imagine running it with mods could be trouble with rights and all. I'll probably just stream my raccoon hero on Champions Online, just to be safe. Heh.

Hey there, I've been making progress with the files recently, got about 70% of his voices sorted, so it won't be long to go at all! Maybe not in time for Raccoon Appreciation Day, but I'm hoping to have him out in the next month or two!

Hey nick, spectacular work on the voice packs. Brings back memories of playing MH Omega back when it was still online (R.I.P.) I was wondering if Jean or Wanda were on your to do list?
