Title: MUA2 Assets

Here are all the usable assets from MUA2.  Basically this involves animations, effects, powerstyles and talents.  I've included the Textures folder ONLY for reference, so you might be able to find a suitable replacement by file name.  Models and Textures DO NOT WORK.  Have fun!

THIS IS NOT A MOD! 
These are files ripped from MUA2 Wii for people to use in making new mods.  Don't install this thinking you'll get MUA2 characters.  It WILL screw up your game!

I won't go hold anything back. It should be easy to add some MUA2 Updates to MUA1 Characters.

& Yeah, models & textures really are does'nt work. We can't see of thing inside the texture finders. So what's w/ the magneto icons. it has 0 bytes.

Awesome, im glad everyone can benefit from that stuff. A lot of the characters that also appeared in MUA1 have new bonus stuff, so try it out.

sorry. but i cant find out which of the files who are working so my game stops all the time. i can maybe sort things out. i just need to find the folder that needs to be removed. thank god that i backed up the wholde folder. i will get the game to work eventually. by the way, can you guys be a little more specific about which folder you have to use? i could be helpful to repair the game too.

This isn't a mod.  It's files for modders to use.  You can't just drop these in.

Oh yes. Now my Iron Man has a real Uni-beam and animations from MUA2! As far i know there are files which responsible for Fusions. But...how to make it to work in MUA when the game hasn't button-keys for Fusions?

Oh yes. Now my Iron Man has a real Uni-beam and animations from MUA2! As far i know there are files which responsible for Fusions. But...how to make it to work in MUA when the game hasn't button-keys for Fusions?
we can't put fusions in MUA the engine doesn't support it you can however play with the fusion effects and create something cool

it looks like the animations on actors are the only asset that works. if you use effects, powerstyles and talents then the game will crash all the time. i am now only using actors. they are the best on MUA1. specially daredevil and wolverines animation. like the jumping. its been updated since the MUA1. logans jump is cooler and more realistic. but MUA2 on Wii, PS2 and PSP are the same like MUA1 except for the costumes and stages and also it has new characters but we can get the characters to marvel 1 by modding.

Thats not true, how do you think we got Green Goblin and how we are getting Songbird and Penance. Effects, talents and powerstyle all work. Pretty much anything that doesnt work ends with a .igb, except animations which do work. So skins, textures and most bolton models dont work. I used the effects, skeleton, talents and powerstyle to do the XML2 conversions and to do my own quick MUA1 versions and both worked with some editing and no crashes.

I think that unless you are an experience modder you should probably not mess around with these files, or at least back up your game before you do so.

i downloaded this and i was looking for psylocke skeleton and i only found 252_psylocke_4_combat.igb is this it or did teancum not put it in??

well when i used every thing that worked like effects, talents and powerstyles it stilled stopped and it did that in the atlantis stage after you have giving namorita that medicine to heal namor. when you go on to stop that mind control thing in atlantis then the game freezed. so i am not quite sure why and how. but still, the effects, talents and powerstyles doesn't do that much change. the animations do a bit more change then the others so i prefer to just use the actor folder.

yeah but the actor file like 172_cyclops_igb contains the animations thell do the power but there wont be a animation, which is why i need the psylocke actor file also i noticed when i modded songbird her powers worked but she didnt use a animation so teancum can you please put the psylocke and songbird actor file please??

Again, like I said twice now, THESE ARE NOT MODS.  These are files to be used for use to create mods with.  They are useless to someone who is not a modder.  Period.  Modders will know how to implement the stuff from MUA2 into a MUA1 booster.

yes i know that i was trying to work on songbird and i already have a skin from nodoubt jr mod of her from XML2 and she was there she didnt crash but when she uses her power she doesnt do a animation and i have no idea why and i thought that since songbird's actor file for example like the only actor files for here are 244_songbird_4_combat.igb and 244_songbird_dark.igb shouldn't there be  a actor like 244_songbird.igb that has her animations?? thats what im trying to say

It's nowhere near that simple.  I would suggest reading up on the Knowledge Base if you're wanting to know how that works.  Basically the animation names are pulled from inside the IGB file and can be found with a hex editor.

As far as what animations go with what characters, the naming conventions for files don't have to be the same.  The IGB is just a container that holds the individual animations.

Oh ok tried out psylocke and gave her cerebral bolt and telepathic swarm the only bugs were 1 tge animations were weird 2 she only had 6 powers 3 I think its the texture but when the telepathic swarm come the butterflys are circles I think I no how to fix it anyway thanks teancum that helped me now ima work on invisible woman and songbird

Ok sorry for double posting but now everything works except songbird ima work on her psylocke anims work now and I een tested gambit posting pics later
ok now I got her to work all her animations powers and boosts but I hae the ssame problem that whiteking had for crushing discord oh well I expected it.The ONLY BUG now is when I added them to the game like songbird she only had 6 powers so I'm confused.but imma look into blaw's green goblin and the one from the assets

also is it possible to have Iron Man's missile launching power and chest unibeam(only available in PSP version) to MUA1?

no she doesnt i remember in one of her fusions a phoenix raptor appeared its like a beam split fusion.And yes Irons power will work as long as you carefully modify it.I think Deedooo is giving Iron Man powers like that which im excited for

I guess the wings are there, but I think they don't work on MUA1 anyway.

Wrong, most of the effects from MUA2 works in MUA1, I used Fusion effects on the Xtreme of my Songbird mod, and I know that nodoubt_jr did the same with his Songbird mod for XML2.
You have to test them in order to know which effects work or not. As I know Jean's wings doesn't worked because they are models, like Songbird's mace.

Yeah, there's a lot of cool stuff hidden in here.  If I had time I'd build a booster pack for all the characters, but you know how real life goes.

It's good to know that. But what do i need to make Iron Man's repulsor beam? I tried just change the effects of "orange beam" instead of Plasma Disk's effects. What do i need to change in powerstyle and talent? (If you know, please PM me with your help.)

Cool.  So there is a Wonderman skeleton out there...an Absorbing Man, Hercules, Man Ape, just to name a few, since all of those were boss battles in MUA2.

Man Ape needs a custom rig otherwise the character will appear about a foot off the ground because their arms and legs aren't long enough.

we can't use icons from mua2.The only things that work are in this pack

And still many things from this pack does not work if you put them in the MUA1 directory (like the models).
That's why this pack is mostly for experienced modders. If you want something related to MUA2 to update Ironman, make your request in the proper topic and hopefully someone here will work on it.
By the way, I think that Deedoo is/was working on an update to Ironman based on his MUA2 powers, but I'm not entirely sure.

Using Wolverine's MUA2 fightstyle will may affects to the mod liked Blizz's Lizard of course, as well his Avalanche & XML2 Juggernaut in Thing's MUA2 fightstyle. :scratchhead: But for iammingy's Toxin is still unknown.

    Saw the asset package you uploaded, awesome upload. Ausgezeichnet!

    However, Teancum I believe I am getting closer to getting the Xboc 360 data files into MUA! I am working with pak file format now, as I know it is encoded by the developers, so it is almost possible ha-ha. For now, I have the entire 360 MUA II sound files (including the DLC content with Juggernaut) which I took easily out of the .pak file, ripped and converted to wav. These of course, I already implemented into MUA with zsm/zss editor so sound easily works.

    Edit :  .igz for the Xbox 360, not our typical igb as I presume you guys already are aware of. And the packages are still kept as .pkgb so that is really not a problem. Only a matter of Zeit, mein guter freund :p

Hey, great job! I'm glad to hear that! All I need (personally I guess) are the entity, powerstyle, talent, sound files and the effects folder of storm from this version of xbox360 :) ;)

I have the entire sound files for MUA II Xbox 360, so I will definitely post Storms voice and power sounds soon for ya ;)   
Then if I do get the character packages open, I can upload all the real good stuff!
