Yeah, no :P but, I can change the maps in dds(then you could edit it), I'm using bmp cause is faster to the conversion process.

I was actually going to try to rig the Spidey and Iron Man ones myself, haha! I might do it anyway just for the practice (and also because I'd like to make some skins that look better than my current ones).
It's kinda easy sometimes, but practice is all you need. You have all that you need for that?

I'm having a problem with your thor boost+skins , the mythor v2
first i followed your instructions as i could because i'm not a modder expert and the instructions are a bit lacking, so what happened was: the game crashed, before the initial cutscene the camera didn't even got to to my team and before nick fury could finish "i'm on the main bridge but i'm not sure how long i will last" the game crashed.
maybe i installed wrong , maybe i didnt got the instructions right, but i kinda liked your mod and i want it to work on my game, could you explain specifically where each file should go? and how should i proceed? there files like the icons that i dont know where to put and there's all this thing about creating a new hammer for ultimate thor skins because of some kind of bolton error
can you help me out?
thankfully i saved a backup of my herostat.cfg before making this major modification, so i was able to make thor work again by pasting his old herostat entry, now i got a thor with his back exposed, he is capeless and his beta ray bill and asgardian armor, skins are the avengers movie skins.

Well, I really need to delete those old posts. You don't need any pack anymore, I made those when I couldn't edit a make my own skins with 3dsmax. In my recents post you can find the skins that I have included in the packs. If there any other file that you need, just let me know.
Search in your herostat for Thor, then for
Multipart {

hideskin = 1002_cape_segment ;
nonmenuonly = true ;
}
And delete it.

Yeah I could, but he is that size cause the original Loki skin(from MUA) is even smaller without the scale factor I mean. But if you use him as villian, there wont be problems I think.
I also got other skins, all of them are small, maybe a simple scale_factor will do it.

I was planning on doing a complete overhaul/update on Thanos, which included all new models since I now know how to create new models for the game (before, all I had to work w/ was the Super Skrull model to re-skin on), and I just wasn't happy w/ the skins (size/proportions/ears) I created for this mod. Now that you've created a perfect model, my work has been cut considerably!
I was wondering:
a.) can I use this model in the eventual update release for Thanos? If you want to work on some of the other skins (classic, annihilation and Earth-X), feel free by all means necessary!

In the rar file you'll find files like 1001, 1003, and other numbers. Copy those and paste them in the actors folder(make a backup for 1003= Beta Ray Bill).
Also you need packages files, I think I put those in the rar also. they're named like 1001.pkgb and stuff like that, paste those in the packages/characters folder. Nothing else.
And take a look to my new Thor Avengers skin.

Hi pleaase help me i want to install a 5th and 6th punisher skin. I followed the tuturials but the sins did not show up i put the skin in actors folder and used xmblcui and edited after i saved the new skin name in punisher hero stat what step am i missing i installed a hulk skin like that it shows up what when i try to change to that skin the game just stops and says mua has stoppped. Did you create a package for that skin slot?
If not....
Place punisher_15805.pkgb on your desktop, located in packages/generated/characters.
Decompile punisher_15805.pkgb.
rename all the 15805 numbers to 15809.
When you compile it, name it punisher_15809.pkgb and place in your you packages/generated/characters folder.
Do the same exact thing for punisher_15805_nc.pkgb.
If you want a 6th skin, you will also have to create the packages for that as well and rename accordingly.

That can be cause of: -your skin is named diferent from the herostat (15809.igb).
-the skin is not placed in the right folder(wich is actors folder).
-The skin dosen't work at all.

You got tutorials for that, but Harpua here just tell you how, create packages for each skin.

Black Widow Avengers movie skin and Golden Armor Thor are released, check the first page.
For Black Widow, I change her hair a little, so it could look more like the movie version, the model doesn't look good in the menu, but in combat is okay(this is because a weighting problem).
Those are converted skins from Marvel Heroes mmo, provided by Tribalizer.

hello there and ty for the skins so far, they are superb. i would just like to point out that the Marvel Now Thor skin that is from Marvel heroes does not have hair coming out of the helmet on his back, that is just a cloth that is coming out from his helmet and thus should be red whereas on your skin you have made it golden. dont know if you intended that but it is disturbing (to me at least). excellent work though

What I'd like to suggest for you to try (since you're pretty much the only other converter in here) is to utilize the bump map in photoshop. You can do this by either making it a grayscale image or desaturating it (it depends on the outcome, whichever one of these pleases you and gives you the best result) then copying it on the diffuse image and setting the layer option to Overlay. It will make the standard texture more defined. I do it because we currently cannot utilize the bump map due to the Alchemy Exporter settings.
I know what you mean, I do that with the textures of the Marvel Heroes models I get from Tribalizer.

I have to say, Odinson, you've inspired me to take a crack at converting models for use with MUA. Playing with your skins and using my graphics card to override the game settings just makes the game look so current that I almost can't handle it. Lol.

That's a good question, you see there are some new models for character we already have and also characters that we don't, like Abomination, Kang, the Collector. What's for sure I will work on Punisher and Ronan too.

I'm not using Blender, but Noesis, it export to .obj many other 3D formats. The segments thing depends of the model itself(if it have a cape, the cape is a segment, for example). But, like I explain you before, that's not a problem, if you wanna use one model and create segments from it you can use the Element mesh property, select the segments, then clone the model and the delete the rest(I should do some kind of tutorial for this).

I think the skins are great - though Storm's hands do kind of look like they melted lol
Ultron is FANTASTIC!! So much better than the original skin from the game! I tried it out in his simulator mission and when I saw him I honestly thought he looked scary as hell (the original was only a little more intimidating than HERBIE from the Fantastic Four).
One question though: when the heroes attack him, various damage effects make him turn completely black. Do you know what might be up with that? Is there some hexediting required somewhere?

Oh, man. Somebody once report that the attacks made my skins look like rainbows, so you're lucky I guess lol.
I'll swap the texture for another format, maybe that will fix the problem.

You can't just cut off pieces of a model and glue them to another model - or chop off part of a model and then reintroduce it to the game

Don't worry, Iceman suit is different, I could not find a good pic from the back but is much like that. That Cyclops is the one from the first X-men movie.
I have to edit Wolverine and Storm anyway, so, is not a problem.

You mean Crimson Dynamo? You should look into the NPCstats xml file for that. It should be easy to find, just decompile the NPCstats.engb file and open the xml file, then search Crimson Dynamo in it.

Marvel have release a game called Marvel Future Fight, thanks to LarsAnderson I found a guy called DatkofGuy in deviantart that was able to extract the models from it. They're like Marvel Heroes models but they match the in-game models if you ask me.

That link had always worked for me (I once found a youtube vid of someone showing how to download from 4shared, got it from there). You need to copy and paste the 4shared link into 4server, then, use the [name of the file] link where it says 'click on the [name of the file] to download'. It's how it used to work, I hope it still does.

Exactly, Cabral. I don't blame you for the malware. My only problem is the choice of sites. It's easy to attach malware to files that are perfectly fine, after threy've been uploaded, meaning there could be more than what sbarth found. And, like he said, I just want to download the skins.

nope. followed his instructions. tried using the thing Hobgoblin posted. says that the file link is invalid. trying to get the file following Cabral's instructions only takes you to another page with a bunch of unwanted software downloads, even though it says 'your download will begin automatically', it never does. it does have a '<name of file>.igb' in big letters that should be the file, but i can't click on it.
clicking on any of the various download buttons only gets a file for various pieces of software, never the actual file.
on one copy/paste of the link, i even got a message saying that the file was taken down due to complaints.
the funny thing is, i actually do have a couple of his skins, so it must have worked at some point. its just not now.

I think I have the solution for your problem, I noticed it happens to all of your Daredevil skins: characters such as Daredevil, Deadpool, Blade, Elektra, Nick Fury etc have some extra bones that are located in the tips of their weapons (Daredevil's batons, Deadpool's and Blade's katana's and guns', I think you got it) for bolting the effects, they're called fx01, fx02, fx03 etc... you can check their powerstyle files for more info. And when the skin doesn't have those specific bones, the effect will be bolted to their spine instead, that's why when you put, let's say, Spider-Man's skin on Deadpool the effects will be all messed up, because Spidey's skins don't have the fx01, fx02 etc bones.
Elektra, for example, has fx01 for the center of her left shuriken, fx02 for the center of her right shuriken, fx03 for the tip of her her right sai and fx04 for the tip of her left sai.
I used to think that those were codes for effects, but what you say make sense, not exactly bones but other additions like the segments maybe.
Anyway, I have adapt these fx00 codes to Bip01 bones before, the thing is that for some reason the baton_strike effect work in the power 3 but not in the power 2, and those have the same codes.
I'm not sure if they need to be Bip 01 fx00 or if it's just fx00.
About Dardevil's power2 not working and power3 working, if you check the powerstyle entry of power3, you'll notice that the effect is bolted to Bip01 R Hand instead of fx02, I don't know why power2 is bolted correctly and power3 isn't, might be a mistake the devs made, who knows? As you can see, power2 bolts Daredevil's fx02 to the victim's Bip01 Pelvis and to the ddevil_baton_strike entity, while power3 bolts Daredevil's Bip01 R Hand to the ddevil_baton_strike entity.
There's a code that should fix this. I'll find a free day to look at the problem, should be easy.
EDIT: Just like Maegawa posted, the difference between power2 and power3 is the fx02 reference in one and Bip01 R Hand in the other. A quick fix to the power2 problem is replacing the fx02 with Bip01 R Hand in the power2_loop move at the special_fx code, not perfect but the effect will show up.

Hola! Hispanohablante? Si, simpre que el modelo se pueda importar a 3dsmax 5.0, esto es con formatos comunes, .obj o .3ds por ejemplo.

Yeah, sometimes the bones and the animations create issues. This time I pay more atention to the height. Chris Evans and Chadwick Boseman have the same height, and RDJ is shorter but the suit should make him taller.

Bueno, lamentablemente no todos los personajes aparecieron en las cinematics. Y los minions de Doom como los de Ultr¨®n son algo complicados. Creo que de aqu¨ª a octubre tendr¨¦ tiempo para algo m¨¢s, asi que tampoco te digo que no.

Si, sin duda puedo intentar convertir alguno de tus modelos, es algo difícil para mí al menos, hacer un modelo 3d desde cero; resultaría muy interesante.

Lamento decepcionarte mi amigo pero descubriras que en realidad soy un ignorante en cuanto a eso. Ahora bien, he podido convertir modelos muy detallados, Injustice, Marvel vs Capcom 3(ps3 y x-box) y hasta de Mortal Kombat X, en conclusión no creo que exista límite.

I did create tha Venom mannequin and skin but the skin is a little too hard to make it work so I never release it. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Thanks!. You need to check the Knowledge Base section, it also have the Modding Tools there. Bassically you need basic knowledge with 3dsMax, the Alchemy Plugin and follow some settings, sizes and bones configurations you'll find in the forum.

I have mixed feelings about the Nolan trilogy compared to other incarnations of Batman, as I feel they were trying too hard to be realistic to include most things, but I acknowledge they're very good movies that are pretty well done in general.
I have a soft spot for The Dark Knight in particular because it's what got me started collecting comic books 9 years ago. I had always loved superheroes but never got the drive to make that effort until then. It was actually very funny because Batman himself never interested me that much until I saw that. It was the best movie I had ever seen at the time and is still pretty high up there for me.
If I could change only one thing about those movies it would probably just be that ridiculous Batman voice, but aside from that they're still great.
I also remember playing the tie-in game for Batman Begins, which I'm guessing this skin comes from (if not, it's very well made!). That was a decent game, but doesn't hold a candle to the Arkham or Telltales series.

Your movie Rocket Raccoon skin looks perfect in the game! I was kind of the community Rocket guy on Marvel Heroes, played that game for thousands of hours (it was my favorite game), so having a costume of his from that back, makes me so happy. I hope I'll see more MH Rocket costumes someday. A personal favorite of mine was Office Attire, based upon his time working at Timely Inc. in his Annihilators side story. I pestered the devs for that costume specifically as far back as Beta, sometimes daily, until it was finally added - the lead designer even gave me the costume free when they finally got Marvel's permission to add it, after many failed attempts, because I had campaigned for it so much. Heh.

Yeah. I miss that game so very much, Infinity War content would've been awesome! And a dev revealed some of what had been planned for the future of the game on Twitter, so much cool stuff that never got added. In fact, the same dev had earlier asked me for a list of possible Rocket Raccoon costumes that weren't in game yet and I provided him with ideas. After the sunset, he told me one of my suggestions had been approved. I didn't ask him which because that would have been even more depressing. *sigh* But he did tag me with a picture of the framed Rocket Raccoon picture from Gazillion's hero wall and said he was going to give it to me. Hasn't yet, but he literally just got a new job today, so I'm sure he will eventually.

I second this...also, in the x-men origins Wolverine game he has his classic yellow and black/blue suit, his brown and tan suit, and his x-force suit. So basically Hugh Jackman in comic book accurate Wolverine suits. How has someone NOT made these skins yet? 🤣

I appreciate your reply and the links, but I specifically meant the Hugh Jackman model actually wearing those suits lol which it does in X-men origins Wolverine

That one was custom made, I am working in a Thanos update but it'll take a while.
You can take a look at Anderson's skins, he ported the MVCI model.
Lots of great skins and models, Cabral, it's unfortunate I can't find a working link to most of them, especially the Punisher ones.
