ITEMS MOD

If you're like me, you may be frustrated with the vanilla game's underwhelming (and sometimes jarring) loot. If you're like me, this mod is for you.

This mod adds tr_items (character-specific loot) for all OCP characters and modifies the effects of all tr_items to (hopefully) make them more useful and less unbalanced. It also renames most loot items because I am neurodivergent.

TR_ITEMS
- Added tr_items for ALL OCP characters.
- Added tr_items for all justice league members.
- Added tr_items for a couple of mod characters that are closely associated to the OCP roster (iron fist for luke cage, quicksilver for scarlet witch, etc).
- tr_items no longer add dots to a single power, but instead they have one of two effects:
1) they may give +6 to one trait (body, focus or striking) OR
2) they may give +1 (and only +1) to ALL talents of the specific character.

IMMERSION CHANGES/  NITPICKING
- Items that were named as weapons, armor or clothing have been renamed to reflect the sad truth that the character model does not actually carry a new weapon or wear a new armor/ suit.
- Items that were named as abstract concepts (attuma's wrath) or body parts (gross) have been given actual gear names (no more selling your radioactive touch).
- tr_items no longer have their owner's name (zero chance of finding "spider-man's socks" in Atlantis - you're welcome), being instead associated with a material or type relevant to the character ("radioactive" for spiderman, "Uru" for Thor, etc).

And here I thought I wouldn't be sharing that many mods. Oh well. Here's another one.

:vision: VISION REDUCER

I realized it's been years since anybody touched this mod, and it remains one of the heaviest trigger-wise. I understand the reluctance to mess with it, since Maegawa's original code is nothing less than a work of art (particularly his scripts to change from phasing to dense modes, which are exactly what I removed). But a reducer's gotta reduce, and here we are. I also tweaked some actually obsolete stuff, such as the bloated power list and the fightstyle_vision file. In all, I pared it down to around 180 triggers, so, not too shabby. Give it a try and let me know how it plays. 

NEEDS Maegawa's original Vision mod

ESSENTIAL CHANGES
- Removes the phasing/ dense separate scripts, giving their functions to the density/ intangibility boosts
- Removes all calls to the fightstyle_vision file (plays a bit less unique, but far more stable)
- Removes all skin-exclusive triggers from powerstyle (skin-numbered effects in char/vision folder are no longer needed)
- Removes all calls to visionphase/visionphaseout scripts (the corresponding .py files are no longer needed)
- Removes a LOT of redundant code (more than 80 triggers removed, should now work in teams of 4)

POWER CHANGES
- Changes both boosts (dense/phasing) to have a limited duration, with no bearing on energy regen or movement modes
- Changes phasing boost to give a high dodge bonus, removes phasing through walls ability to prevent potential game-breaking situations
- Adds grab/stun/slow/knockback/finisher/pain immunities to both phasing and density states
- Changes power 5 from yet another solar blast to a stunning charge move
- Removes two powers (solar bolts & dense strike) to fit the standard of 5 powers/ 2 boosts/ 1 xtreme

COSMETICS
- Replaces skins and herostat (packages numbered 06 and beyond are no longer needed)
- Changes some HUDs to fit the new skins
- Adds a transparency effect while phased

:shard: ADAM WARLOCK REDUCER

This mod is intended to modernize/ reduce/ streamline Adam Warlock, as the existing versions have not received the attention they deserve.

CHANGES
- removes redundant code.
- reduces powerset to the 5 moves/2 boosts/xtreme standard, and renames some powers to include as much of the canon as possible.
- removes the cocoon block effect, which didn't do that much (except bloating the code).
- removes the magus identity/boost and all the corresponding references/ fallbacks.
- changes skins and mannequin, using more recent models (except for skin 02, which is an old ka-zar recolor).
- changes xtreme to recruit/ resurrect like professor X.
- replaces voiceset with marvel rivals sounds, as extracted by Ahmed Moustafa and Brian1960.

V For VENDETTA

"Did he feel this? This Verve, this Vitality... La Voie, la Verité, la Vie..."

Here it is, my favorite character ever, playable at last in MUA. This is a big deal for me, and the hardest mod I've tackled so far.

- 5 powers, 2 boosts, 1 xtreme
- 2 skins based on the same model, very slight color variation (one with a palette closer to the comic book, and the other to the film), with animated cape Bolton by Julio Cabral
- custom voice file by Crescendo and me, with inestimable help from ak2yny
- Mod number #05 (I had to), so mannequins and screens will clash with the Thing, Julie (Power Pack), Exar Kun (Star Wars), and Haru Estia (Soulworker)

He plays as a bruiser_light, favoring mind/focus so his physical abilities won't skyrocket (a pet peeve of mine)

POWER SET
1) Vicissitude - nerve pinch, stuns the target
2) Violence - two consecutive slashing spins, chargeable
3) Venom/Volcano - the signature mix of mustard gas and napalm that burned Larkhill down
4) Various Valentines - four mini-explosives in close area of effect
5) Vengeance - charge attack with high turn rate, lasts while holding button or until energy runs out

boost 1) Veritable Vanishing - bow out, become unseen, increase crit chance AND damage
boost 2) Virtue Victorious - inspire allies to gain health and energy from kills

Xtreme - Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici - detonates everyone around to the beat of the 1812 overture

passive - ideas are bulletproof: immune to pain and mind control

NEEDS
