What comes from yours and Maegawa? I'll see about removing anything that accidentally slipped in like that because this is suppose to be official only content.

Updated to 1.0.1a based on UltraMegaMagnus' reports.

1.0.1a - Various Keyboard Prompt issues have been resolved.
- Converted over Hawkeye's sounds - which were mistakenly forgotten about in the previous version.
- Packaging errors resolved.
- Moon Knight's Power Icons should now display correctly.
- Colossus' Power Icons should now display correctly.
- All Power Icons for DLC characters should now display correctly for Keyboard users.
- Moon Knight's special effects should now display correctly when using his powers.
- Doom2 (Zone) should now precache all needed files correctly.
- Removed several files that accidentally slipped in previously.

Updated to 1.0.2a and fixed some issues with Outsider and Magnus' help.

Excellent work Krisan! Only thing I've noticed is some npcs in hubs are called defaultman when I go to talk to them. E.g. Fury and Pym in the sanctum sanctorum displays a "talk to defaultman" message at the bottom of the screen when I hover over them. Doesn't appear to be a problem though.

Yeah that's cause I'm an idiot and forgot to include yet another file. lol
I'll have it fixed shortly.

It'll work with most anything else, but this should be installed before other mods.

Well done, Krisan! Now that this project is no longer in the testing phase, I have placed a sticky on this thread.


It is important for everyone to understand the differences between the offerings:

This Gold Edition Content (GEC) mod is mainly for those who want a fresh install of the game, have the remastered stuff (interface, models, sounds, etc), have 33 characters playable, and basically want to have their game as close to the X-Box's Gold Edition as possible.

The 33 Roster Hack (33R) is for those who don't want to change their game all over (because it's been modded already) and just want to have 33 characters playable, along with having all extraction points unlocked.

And the Official Characters Pack (OCP) is for those who want a fresh install with the official characters, the Heroselect system, and some non-official extras, such as having Magneto save both Jean Grey and Nightcrawler at Mephisto's Realm. But, only 27 characters playable.


Hopefully, I've explained it well enough. So, don't install the GEC without first re-installing the game. Otherwise, it could have problems. Once you've got the GEC, you essentially don't need the 33R (because it's included) unless you want the extraction points unlocked as well. It won't have the unofficial stuff that the OCP has.

To summarize, if you want a fresh reinstall of the game, your options are (1) GEC, or (2) OCP, then 33R. If you've already modded your game and don't want a fresh reinstall, then just 33R. Maybe there well be an option to get some of the remastered stuff without re-installing the game, but we'll see.

WARNING: Both the GEC and 33R suffer issues with the last five characters. It appears to be memory issues that will not be a quick fix unfortunately. Be patient and the think tank here at Marvel Mods will work on potential solutions.

UltraMegaMagnus was working on having the remastered stuff, but then cancelled it (http://marvelmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,10199.0.html). Maybe you can convince him to return to it.

Is there a way I can have all the remastered stuff without the 33 hack?
Skip the following folders and files when installing it:
\Maps\
\Packages\Generated\Maps\
\Data\Strings.engb
\Data\HeroStat.engb
\Data\Simulator.engb

And use this Game.exe instead of the provided one: https://mega.nz/#!tcgCXTKZ!OFXVwuikaQtqA1J1GhSuVWuGwYbs60h1jszvl7kiAxM

That should let you use the new interface, models, etc.. but without the DLC characters or the 33 hack to support them. (Though the DLC characters will still have all their files present, so if you modify the included herostat you could swap them in if you wanted.)

Pardon, I think I forgot to mention on will we team_bonus limit increase as well aside simulation, zones & items. Almost slip my mind.


Regarding for the hud I made for RE you used, some requires rework/transfer via Photoshop & Texture Finder.

The only way around to avoid Murderworld or other DLC maps issues is to add the separate packages/dlc/maps like in RE, except should be also work outside mua_dlc.zip.
