cant used hero access or orb of teleportation

hey after I finally got my roster straight I tried a play through and when I get to dr stranges house I cant save the game or change my team or use the orb to continue the game. this Is a fresh start using default skills. anybody know how to fix this or what folder I should recopy from the original game??? any help would be appreciated thanks
