talking of breaking curses (espacilly billy curses)  i haerd the curse of the billy goat might be over.  just a disscusion point for cub fans.

anyway curses are cr&p. just look at the curse of the bambino. now idf it ened exacly 100 years later id understand. but it didnt so... curses must be bullsh-t

The second Sox scandal curse has been lifted too.

A half game lead is due to the fact some teams have days off.

As a Bay Area resident I religiously followed the Oakland A's, but it's been hard to love them this year though.

I follow the AL East now. The Yankees and Red Sox specifically.

The Rays too, have a fair chance to make it into the playoffs, despite their recent losses of Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford to the DL.
