425 Additional Alternate Skins

Thanks. Any idea where I would start by making a  skin? Would it just be a case of converting the in-game one into a playable version?

I'm not a skinner, but I think the in game Scorpion skin can already be used on any other character skin -- just renumber it as before.  If you want to make changes to the skin, then you might want to check the skinning tutorials.

That's his character animations, I think. Although you can use it to deduce his skin number. Since the file says 40_scorpion, his skin numbers are the 40xx ones, namely 4001.igb (which is probably Classic i.e. the Helicarrier one) and 4002.igb (the one from Asgard).

I think so -- I just checked the Hud folder and it has a 4001 and a 4002 file.

Ok I've done it! is in game! (I used Lizard as the character, because it seemed most appropriate due to the Lizard's Tail power) As I expected the tail would be all straight and have no movement, how do I fix that? Would I have to use his character anims (40_Scorpion)? And if so would that affect the mod and how would I go about installing it? Thanks.

Thanks Grig 32.  The skin that you mentioned is one of BLaw's.  He has some others that are also broken.  He plans to reload his missing files at some point.  Thanks again for pointing out the bad link.

there are some characters i haven't downloaded yet. Will this back also get you those characters?

These are just additional skins that you can substitute for a character.  You must already have the character in the game if you want all the appropriate powers and animations.

I found the Psylocke Revolution Skin on my old backup drive - as well as the HUD that came with it.

Unfortunately the person who made it has long since gone and I can't get into contact with them - what's the policy on uploading this stuff so you guys can post it in your skin archive? She goes GREAT with the new Psylocke MU2 mod (replacing the Ultimate skin as I hate her ultimate appearance lol) but really works - as long as you put in the code to remove her elektra boltons - with ANY Psylocke skin
