For those who knows Kim Kardashian and Kayne West lets see them be created in TS4 CAS.

More things for Children in TS4

First off, Maxis revealed via a tweet that the children can learn skills. Children in The Sims 3 could learn skills, to an extent, but this is being expanded on in The Sims 4. The examples they gave were learning to play the violin as well as the piano. It's doubtful that Maxis will be adding how to play DOTA 2 or COD as skills, but I digress. I'm sure Maxis has a lot more skills planned for children, to reveal in the future.

In case you were wondering what the huge image above was, it's of the Cow Plant that you can grow within The Sims 4. The Cow Plant looks very much like its counterpart in The Sims 3. In the previous game, you could grow one of these plants to milk them to extend your sims' lives by days. You could even feed it, pet it, praise it, or scold it to make it a loving pet or an evil henchman. The Cow Plant would sometimes offer up a cake as bait for sims to take, ending their lives if they were foolish enough to take it.

The Cow Plant was released as premium content for The Sims 3 as a throwback to the original Cow Plant in previous SIms titles. It has been confirmed for The Sims 4.

The Sims 4: Official Gameplay Walkthrough Trailer (20 minutes long)

I'm really sorry for the double post guys, but I just wanted to share my opinion after what I witnessed.

Beginning of mini-rant xD

Okay, first of all they said that they would give us pure live mode demo (Description of video "See over 15 minutes of raw gameplay from The Sims 4 in our official walkthrough trailer.") and instead we get this scripted bullshit that's narrated in an overly exaggerated tone by two moronic oafs. Honestly, all I wanted was a simple unedited and non-staged live mode demo, they're seriously doing this marketing thing wrong.

The world looks really beautiful, fluid and more lively. I love how the Sims aren't just standing there like porcelain dolls (Sims 3, I'm looking at you), plus they have somewhat nice dance moves.

The graphics (And I don't mean the artstyle, I love the cartoony artstyle, it reminds me of the Sims 2 kinda) are a little...um...how should I put this... let's just hope that these aren't the final ones (since they said this is beta software from a month ago, in the beginning) or I hope they are using lower graphic settings.
They said they have dynamic lighting, I'm sorry but do you honestly call that dynamic lighting? (Pause at 19:19, and look at the edge of the lot how the light disappears just like in TS3), I pray that's a glitch or just low lighting graphic setting.

Also, a little overuse of bloom, don't you think? (Hopefully can be toned down, slider or something)

I do love party goals, socialising with guests, telling jokes. I like that, it's something nice that will help you with throwing a great party.

The loading screens seem fast, simple and tolerable, the UI however is slightly bland and little too simplistic, but let's hope this is unfinished in this demo as well.

The pure lack of transportation on the other hand is absolutely absurd. What the f**k is this teleportation bullshit that we're getting?!
Was it too much for EA to add simple walking off lot animations when traveling, or a simple taxi system?
Probably... I mean they cut so many features due to "lack of resources"...yeah...well....sure as hell ain't monetary resources seeing as how they're milking us of our money and giving us half-assed content in return.
But hopefully vehicles and transportation turn out to be more than just neighborhood decor, and are actually usable, I hope this outdated demo just lacks all those features...

On second though, why the flying f**k are they showing us a 1-month outdated version of the game in the first place?

I just hope what they're showing us is just the tip of the iceberg, and barely scratches the surface of the game. For their sake, not ours.
If they want good sales, they need to work for it.

I just truly hope the game proves me wrong, and turns out amazing, I really do. I really want this game to be great, I want it to get amazing reviews and ratings. But as of recently it's getting slightly disappointing with all the features that they're removing in favor of "purely focusing on the Sims themselves" as they keep repeating over and over.

This is an amazing rant I must say, and I very much agree with it. They are half assing everything with this game in my opinion. They claim they don't have resources and that they want to focus on other things, but they don't seem to be doing that great of a job. Obviously this game is about the SIMS, but they aren't the only thing that make this game, and it seems like they are the biggest focus for them. Yeah Sims are nice and are the core of the game, but its the houses and the environments and everything else that put it together. There are features and things they haven't tried to include that I think are long over do, and now they are cutting out other things that I believe should be there. It's a bit ridiculous.

As much as I hate waiting, I would rather them push the release date back and give us a game that isn't cut to the bone, then give us what they are showing off.

Don't worry though, they'll give us all those features back :) How you ask?
Well in the form of expensive expansion packs of course! :D

I mean just think of how many they have already planned! :)

The Sims 4: Terrain Tools Expansion Pack (Terrain manipulation is now fully within your grasp, however the pond tool is restricted to those who have purchased the premium edition of this Expansion Pack)

The Sims 4: Transportation Expansion Pack (Using the taxi system requires you to make an in-game transaction using Credit/Debit cards or via the safe comfort of Paypal)

The Sims 4: Toddlers and Family Fun Expansion Pack (To use the toddler life stage, you must pay a monthly subscription in addition to buying the expansion pack)

The Sims 4: Pools and Summertime Sadness Expansion Pack (Note: Expansion pack does not include Summer, please purchase separate Seasons expansion for Weather features, also said expansion has nothing to do with Lana Del Ray, we will however be releasing a Lana Del Ray's Sweet Treats stuff pack, so stay tuned for more info on that :) )

The Sims 4: Common Sense Expansion Pack (Note: Does not actually include anything that makes sense, we just made this expansion pack for the money and da lolz - EA )

Each expansion for just the small price of $169.99. Have a nice day, and remember we here at EA value our customers. :)

Hit the nail right on the head there!

They're occupied with making the sims as realistic as possible, and I love that, after all, the game is called Sims. But they're relying too much on the Sims, and not the area around it. What made the Sims 2 so entertaining for me (and Sims 3 lacked on that) was the entire wackiness of it all. Getting abducted by Aliens, getting into a fight which was covered with a huge cloud with an occasional fist popping out. and If they were feeling down? Maxmotives my friends, maxmotives all the way.

The make-a-sim looks better than it ever did. But I would honestly prefer the wackiness and cartoon crazyness sims 2 offered. It's so far only a downward hill from here. In the sims 2, I felt like the wackiness was just right, it didn't came over as forced,. In the sims 3, wackiness was still occasianly there, but they were obviously going for realism in that game. And I dunno, from what I've seen here, the cartoon look looks really forced (I honestly have no beter way of explaining this, as odd as it might sound. It just seems..Wrong)

Newest Release : Raven

All those expansion packs sound pretty accurate.

Well look at the bright side, at least the build mode architecture looks cool. I can't wait to build an awesome mansion with a fancy backyard pool- oh wait...

And don't forget at least they have a lot of people on a Community lot unlike the TS3 there were only 3 or 4 people on that particular  lot your Sim is visiting but in TS4 it seems like they improved on having a lot of Sims on the lot. Also what really got me was the social interactions. I feel like their is going to be better and more entertaining interactions in TS4 like it was in TS2 but better. And how they added Don Lothario, Nancy Landgraab, Bella Goth, and Mortimer Goth. Who knows what other returning characters might appear in TS4 such as maybe Nina and Dina. But it would not be as much as an alternate universe that they claim its suppose to be.:storm:

I'm not sure if this is a one time payment thing or a recurring subscription, so until they reveal more info on it I guess I'm not entitled to an opinion just yet.
