Make sure to backup all map files before editing.

Now the first thing's you ware going to need is.

   - Texture Finder 2.1
   - Paint.net, Gimp or some program that can edit colours and import .dds
   - SkinnerUI
   - Marvel Ultimate Alliance

You can get all these programs on the forums in the resource backup or there normal locations.

Okay now you have the programs you will need to have Marvel Ultimate Alliance PC (NOT THE REMASTERED)
Open MUA and find this folder maps>act2>strange>strange1.igb and COPY it to the Texture Finder 2.1

Open Texture Finder 2.1 and load the strange1.igb file look at the image below were it said (SHIFT) and put this number = 26436 or 26796 and select DXT1. Make sure the WIDTH is set to 512 for now.

Now use the left hand side slider and find the texture you want.

Now you want to find the offset right? we'll look at the bottom of the picture there is the offset (BOOM)

Copy that into the muaskinner.cfg like shown below.

strange.igb,-DXT1,512,512, 26436. <---- remember the dot.

Were it said 512,512 that is the WIDTH from Texture Finder 2.1 is and remember that we will need to edit that later, Now open SkinnerUI and click file>skinner and load the strange.igb now click export and load the image (.DDS) strange1.igb.dds or something and the file should be blue that is fine the file is in RGB now go and edit the file as you want i added a Cyclops because Strange X Cyclops Dah xD.

Now you have done that you need to make sure the photo is BGR and click save you can do BGR by swamping Red and Blue.

Now go back to skinner that you left open RIGHT. and import stange1.igb.dds and click accept.

Now go back to Texture Finder 2.1 and change WIDTH to 256 and find the picture in the smaller form and then do the same as the above steps then copy and replace the strange1.igb over to the maps>act2>strange folder and load the game.

Done.

Note the texture on the side is not the one i make it that is because that texture is 128 and you need to find and edit all the 128, 256 and 512.

Hope this tutorial is okay ask any questions you want.

Actually. "Remastered" is the same, albeit can't re-texture bump maps.

MUA2 is the exception.

So does MUA remastered have .igb or .igz ?

you know what that means. If you still dunno, you’ll have to look into MUA1RE compatibility lists i made:

Example.. i have the spiderman civil war igb and i want to make improvements to it, so can it be edited?

If the re-textures uses the game's PC models, yes. Compatible List I made mentioned about the model usage between "RE" and OR.
