I'm about to spend $120 on these games tomorrow (I'm getting the XBOX One and PC versions) :P. RIP my wallet

My first attempt before buying MUA2 on Steam is to test the game's speed with non-Steam patch. If my computer's speed is not very well, i'll decide to sticked with PS4.

MUA1 on the other hand, my main priority always on Steam since i'm sure it may retain modding capabilities. For PS4, it depends, as long i have my wallet left.

I'll definitely be getting MUA2 from Steam, but haven't decided yet on MUA.  The original still works fine for me and I have way too many mods downloaded from the brilliant modders here to start over again.

I haven't played MUA2 in so long. If it turns out that it can be modded, then modders would have to take into account (1) By default, is your character :stark: Pro-Registration or :captainamerica2: Anti-Registration? And (2) they must think of all possible combinations for Fusion attacks.

If I recall, the game was harder than MUA1, and The Fold would gang up on you and take you out. It introduced several heroes and villains not in MUA1, such as Grim Reaper, Prodigy, Diamondback, Equinox, Titanium Man, and Lucia von Bardas, etc. It also had some new stages/backdrops like Washington D.C. and Wakanda, but not nearly as much as MUA1. Character interactions were limited, as were costumes. Sim missions? I think there was a "vs. Magneto" one where he would throw army tanks at you. That was sick!

To be honest I never really liked the Fusion powers. I would love if we could just give them Xtremes again.

Weren't some of the heroes playable no matter what side you choose? And only a select few were on either side until near the end of the game. It has been so long since I played it last.

I remember the Wii version had a lot of sim missions because you had to play them to unlock other characters and things if my memory is correct. It would be nice to move those over to the PC version.

I thought Fusion was an ok concept, just wished it had BOTH fusion and xtreme --  more than one way to use your Xtreme meter. I like having options. Yes, most of the heroes were playable no matter what side they were on. l do remember that Captain America, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist were strictly Anti-Reg, whereas Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, and Songbird were strictly Pro-Reg. The rest were selectable at any time -- so I guess modders can decide if they are strictly for one side or not. But then, why limit them to one side?

Certain bosses you fight depended on which side you were on. (If you were Anti-Reg, at some point you fought Bishop. If you were Pro-Reg, at some point you fought Cable.) Also, somewhere in the game, you couldn't pick the Thing, as it said he was conflicted and couldn't pick a side, choosing to run away. I think it's when they run into The Fold, they all work together to end the threat. Nanite Nick Fury was the final boss. The HUB was different, too. If you were Pro-Reg, you stayed at Stark Tower. If you were Anti-Reg, you were at some underground bunker. I bet everyone is hoping that MUA2 can be modded, as it opens up so many possibilities that perhaps my retirement this year is too premature...

X_X RAGE QUIT ALERT!! MUA1 ONLY!

No contents who/which were exclusively for Xbox 360 DLC Gold Edition & PSP respectively

:) MUA2 however...

-v- yeah i know, we all know from beginning that the second game remaster may use VVisions version, meaning that n-space exclusives may not included, much like we all know that MUA1 will not include GBA exclusives due to being different gameplay, story script & character gameplay arts:
* MUA1:
** GBA was beat'em up instead of Action/RPG
** On 3D Action/RPG in all consoles, despite models on PS3/X360/PC and PSP/PS2/Xbox/Wii are a little bit different, the gameplay & story script is still the same
* MUA2: Adds another differences besides gameplay & story script, the character models between VVisions and n-space

:( I'd really wishes the series had something like way Capcom's RESE & DMCSE series, & SCIIHD had, if it weren't for a licensing issues for making the DLCs limited 8 years ago

Awesome to hear! Welcome back! I'm hoping other modders that haven't been to the forum in a while will follow suit as well! ...cough..cough...Blaw..cough...cough

Seriously tho, I hope we are able to (at the very least) get some skeletons and models from MUA2. However, just imagine if MUA2 was a moddable as MUA. I've never even really played MUA2. I tried the first level out on a Wii emulator one time, but that's about it.
Does MUA2 even have Sim Missions?

Did someone say food?

^ This guy said food.

Kind of disappointing that MUA 1 dlc is missing but if the game is similar enough to the current one that shouldn't be a problem for us ;). Excited to play MUA 2 again and on the PC though.

While I'll most likely get MUA2, I'll pass on the new version of MUA1.  The original still works fine for me and I have way too many mods from the amazing modders here to want to start over again.

I assumed MUA would still be the original version for each of the platforms. I'll be interested to see if it actually runs on a newer version of Alchemy or anything like that. If someone buys it, please PM me just the .exe and I'll look through it.

I'll only pick up MUA2 if modding gets cracked on it. I have it on 360 and while it's good, it's nowhere near good enough for me to buy again on a totally different platform. In so many ways it feels watered down from the original, but visually it's stunning.
