i was just redeeming my juggernaut preorder code when something caught my eye
(http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh43/Meganubis/pc.jpg)
so honest mistake, or future release?
I'm sorry, I don't see it....
EDIT: Never mind, I see it now.
Interesting. Hopefully it's not a mistake.
i really hope it's not a mistake...
Well, if they do port it I hope its the N-Space port. I've looked pretty in-depth at the 360's files - there's no way we can mod that version; the engine is totally different now.
I hope its not a mistake. Im kind of undecided on what version i would like. The n-space version would allow us to mod it and add characters, etc. which is always good. But the VV version IMO looks and seems a lot better.
That would be fantastic if it were for PC. Possible back port of models from MUA2 to MUA1? Personally, I'd find it awesome if it were Raven that did MUA2 to begin with, then we wouldn't have this "VV vs. n-space" discussion. But I digress, I do like me some pretties, so I would hope it's VV's version. I'm sure we'll find a way to mod it. After all, we were able to mod MUA1 for the PC, and the 360 files were unusable to us, albeit them being the same game. I wouldn't say "unable to mod" just yet.
If it's listed on the site, and has been on all the other sites but isn't out yet, perhaps it was planned to begin with but there was some reason it wasn't available at launch, like it had been delayed for some reason. Who knows?
As usually, I checked it everywhere (GameSpot, Wikipedia, the Official Site) and I couldn't find it anywhere else. Maybe it's just a mistake, but who knows? But, if they do make it for PC it will be the XBox 360/PS3 version I think, sadly. If I'll be right, I hope they will do something about the files, so you guys can make good mods :D
I dont care which version we get any is good with me . I like both because N-space's is like the original while VV's is good aswell for different reasons.
As always, I'm waiting for something more official :D Or any other clue would do it :D
I don't think there will be a PC version.
Yeah, sadly, I agree with Mingy.
Cause Microsoft does both 360 and PC, why wouldn't they just say it?
... Or maybe they are just teasing us, who knows?

Games for Windows – Live (trademarked as Games for Windows – LIVE[1]) is an online gaming service for Games for Windows-branded PC titles.
But I still have my doubts.
Also, XBOX users can use some sort of GfWL too if I'm correct, so that doesn't necessarily mean there's gonna be a PC version...
Xbox uses Xbox Live.
I won't start hopping around for joy, just yet. Perhaps if they announce it to come to PC, then I'll hop for joy :P
That could be a mistake or something... ( :bawling: )

That Games for Windows tag is on every new PC game out there, whether it's online or not. Just because it has that tag doesn't mean it's just for the online service. It's on Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto, Force Unleashed, I think Assassin's Creed, etc. That's just their standard logo like Playstation has the "Playstation" writing on their box covers now. So "Games for Windows" and "Games for Windows - Live" are two completely different things. One is just the box tag just like every console has now, and the other is an online service that mimics the x-box live service. Keep in mind the tag in the pic is not for the GFWL service, it's the official Games for Windows.
There would be absolutely no reason to use Games for Windows - Live service, period, unless there were a PC version. As such, that's not even a GFWL tag, it's Games for Windows. If the tag is there, it's for a reason unless the pic in question was photoshopped. Which means unless it was photoshopped, there will be a PC version because they have to pay Microsoft for usage of the Games for Windows tag, and they wouldn't give them money unless they were doing a version for the PC.
If it does get release i hope they do it soon or wait for Christmas time so i dont have to buy it for myself :D
I hope we get the 360 version as the graphics are much better and I can't afford a 360/PS3 ^^;;; Already played the Wii version and it's nice but I'd like to try the other version now :D
Yeah, I've played the PS2 version and the first MUA game was better on PS2 then the second.

I agree.
The graphics in MUA2-PS2 is like X-Men Legends and even worse in some cases... @_@"a
i dont think marvel 2 will come to pc. because aspyr media its now involved or the games for windows. activision havent talk to them about making the game and games for windows and aspyr its profesoniells at converting 360 to pc but they not involved so even if we hope it doesnt seem to come for pc.

For me, even if this game has Venom and Gambit (Who I really like) and I would have to choose, to buy one, than I would go with MUA. It's longer, the characters are better, the game looks better and for me, even the story is better. MUA 10/10 MUA2 10/5
The only thing I wouldn't like about getting the N-Space version is that they may have removed the code for multiple costumes. If they didn't I'd prefer that version, only because we can mod it. But to be fair, I'm not going to complain if VV's version comes out on PC :D We won't be able to do anything at all with it (the engine changed drastically) but it'd still be fun.
oh just so you guys know, i am a reliable member, this was not shopped, but i have my doubts too but considering its still up says something

EDIT: found this also http://au.pc.ign.com/objects/142/14233949.html
OK, but if you go down on the IGN site, you will see, that it supposed to be out in Australia since september 16. Still, I wait for some other stuff, like an official video with the developers or something.
It says nothing about the PC version on the esrb rating board website.
http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.jsp#
I stick with the mistake thing :D
Can you say, cheap mistake?

Guess they threw a card in his arm.
Heeeeey,your riiight...thats wierd...
Yeah, I suspect more and more, that this just a bad joke.
*shakes head* the more you look the more it seems like the PC was originally supposed to be included in the release and that they're holding it back to make money off PC users who broke down and bought it for the console.
Sound familiar folks? Classic EA and Lucasarts moves - only these guys suck at hiding it LMAO
Or maybe it was planned, but canceled?
its exactly what it may be. its a bummer but the only way to get it on PC is to sign a petition about it. it worked to get Star Wars The Force Unleashed on PC and Mac so if someone maked a petition and everyone signs then we can get it on the PC.
As someone, who already made a petition, I think it's not as easy as you think. The petition would be good, if it would be signed by like more than 100000 people and we would send it to the developers. You know, they think in money, so they would make it, if they would knew, that it would give them plenty of cash.

Or just a flat-out honest mistake. That's what I'm betting on. A Games For Windows tag is hardly something to hold your breath about. As a web developer myself, I could see how they would reuse that image for lots of games. Someone could reused that image up not knowing it had that on there.
activision could have get much more money if the maked it to pc and the version where like the 360 and ps3. lucasarts thinked the same about the force unleashed
That's a matter of opinion - it's major money to port something to the PC. Porting it to a console is different, the hardware inside is the same every time. For the PC you have to deal with different operating systems (XP, Vista, and now Windows 7), RAM, processor types, graphics card types, sound card types, etc. Not fun, and very expensive.
but they could get so much more money if they thinked about it. we can only hope that they make money of the console version and think that they could get more by make it to the pc. like lucasarts thought.
But Lucasarts and Star Wars have a history of PC gaming, which means people expect PC versions, which also means that they may choose only to buy it on PC. Marvel doesn't, meaning that most everyone who wanted it bought it on a console, and they don't want to buy it a second time.
well we can always hope for the pc version. right?
Hope is something, you should never give up. Anything could happen.
yeah thats what i mean too. i really would like marvel ultimate alliance 2 for pc. with the graphics from ps3 or 360. then i would sleep better.
Well, it's not like you would die without it. It's just a game.
just a game. videogames is my life. i would never do something without it. its how i am. gamefreak. loving games is the best at what i do.
No offense, but call a doctor. It's not good for you, if you live for the video games. It could ruin your life. Try out new things aswell, like sports or buy a pet :)
BTW, back to topic
i got a pet. a guinea pig named, well Sonic. name from the hedgehog. i was young at the time and i'm still young. but i had a bad experience with sports and that how videogame became my life so dont argue about it. it hurts hearing that. my life was destoyed in first grade and dont want a flashback. but lets get back to the subject before more weird things start to happen.
Ookay...Well, who thinks that there will be a PC version?
Not me.
Okay, well I think the same.
Me neither
i still think there may be a chance, i have nothing really that makes me feel that way but i just think it may happen.
I think the thing which makes you think that is hope. There's nothing bad in it. Believe me, many of us would be happy for the PC version.
yeah hope or dillusion :D
Lets just call it hope.
agree. but the game is freaking awesome.

The demand for a PC version is just too low. Most of the gamers who wanted the PC version in the first place had already played/owned the game on PS3/XBOX360/PS2/Wii/DS. I don't think these people will get the "same" game again if they have a copy on another platform though I fully understand there are differences between the PS3/XBOX360 and PS2/Wii and DS versions. Therefore, I don't think there will be a PC version. As a PC gamer, I would be really happy if they do release a PC version though, regardless of whether it's moddable or not.

Seconded.
How about we call this "It's not coming out for PC until we hear otherwise"
