Title: Corvetterules - Heroes and Villains of Cloudream (SoulWorker mod catalog)
Post by: corvetterules on August 07, 2020, 08:23AM
Hello, and welcome to my SoulWorker mod catalog! Thank you for expressing interest. I will be posting any SoulWorker mods I produce here, so check regularly to not miss anything.

If you like these mods, you can also consider checking out the content I post over at my Genshin Impact mod catalog, at this link: https://marvelmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,11036.0.html

I am also on the MarvelMods discord, under the nicknames "Rock" and "Corvetterules" (I change it every now and then, but it will always include those words).

Please note that, at this time, I do not accept skin or mod requests. Thank you for your understanding.

RECOMMENDED: Make sure that the Particle Quality setting in Video Settings is set to Low, not High. Otherwise, unintended visual effects may appear as you play with these mods. For the time being, I am unable to fix this issue.

Announced 2 months and a half ago on Discord, the Haru Estia mod is now finished!

BIOGRAPHY

When the catastrophe known as the Vacuum befell Stair Second, the Earth of an alternate universe, the entire world was turned upside down under the reign of chaos and the march of endless armies of extraterrestrial monsters, known as SoulJunk. The teenage girl named Haru Estia proved no exception to this inexorable influence. Over the course of her life, her name became associated with many descriptions, from young medical prodigy, to one of mankind's worst criminals, to even its last hope.

At the height of her professional background, a general evacuation order rang throughout her home town. Though she anticipated returning home to celebrate her achievements along with her loved ones, that was only to see her mother crushed under debris, depleted of life. Her despair complete, Haru grieved soundly near her lifeless body, failing even to notice the Vacuum overhead consuming her.

Eventually, with the surrounding area converted by the strange energies of the Vacuum, a young man called Tenebris chanced upon her and, overcome by pity, welcomed her into Grasscover Camp, the refugee site which he had established in this now dangerous place. Catching up with events, she learned not only that the camp was incessantly threatened by monsters, but also that her unceasing thoughts of revenge against the apocalypse that took her parent earned her superhuman physical attributes, as well as a puzzling power to materialize weapons out of thin air.

Awakened from her grief, but broken still, Haru gradually dedicated herself to the total destruction of these abominations, and put it before even the most basic of human needs such as rest. This was much to the concern of Tenebris and to the convenience of the villainous Kant, the one responsible for the Vacuum, hidden among the humans as one of them to observe and savor their self-made depravity.

Haru soon realized that, confined in this camp and abiding by its established rules, she would never achieve her ultimate goal of vengeance. Though many had tried to steer her away from this path, she saw it only as refusal to help, and was left to fester in her own negativity in a tent. One fateful night, she joined the SoulForcer known as Erwin Arclight in an act of escape, at first under the promise of leading her to the one who created the Void.

Eventually, while roaming the SoulJunk infested wastelands, they found another establishment to settle in, known as Azland Camp. There, Haru's bitterness started to fade, as she opened up to its people, sharing her misery and struggles with them, and before long, she could bring herself to speak of protecting them. Finally, her heart began to heal, only for it to be broken again.

The people of the settlement discovered the true nature of the two wanderers, that they were humans corrupted by the infamous power called Desire, and in an act motivated by paranoia, plotted to kill them both. Forced to slaughter every inhabitant in self-defense, Haru could endure hardship no more. She snapped under the tremendous emotional weight and gave in to Desire.

With a new belief, that all living beings in the Vacuum, human or alien, need to perish for her retribution to be complete, she laughed away the last remnants of her sanity and took her first step towards the fulfillment of a bloody ambition - genocide. Her tenacity inspired other misguided humans twisted by Desire to join her, and so, over the next 15 years, thousands would meet a terrible end at the tip of her blade, or at the mercy of her followers.

After 15 years, the goddess Rosca descended from the heavens to stop Kant. In response, he took over the minds of a precious few DesireWorkers left in the Vacuum, Haru Estia included, so that he may use them to defeat her. The combined might of his subjects was not nearly enough to challenge this divine being, and following a swift defeat, she sent each of them to a separate timeline, outside of the Vacuum, in order to stray them from the path which the progenitor of the Vacuum had laid out for them.

This resulted in permanent amnesia of all the events that had taken place up until that moment in Haru's life. And so, upon witnessing the suffering in the world, her first instinct was to protect everyone from the danger posed by the SoulJunk, as well as a warlike alien race going by the name of Vessi. As if history itself was ignorant to her dark deeds, the world accepted her as a beacon of hope, with threat after threat dispatched by her awesome powers. To this day, she remains the last line of defense against the pitiless villains seeking to crush mankind underfoot.

This mod features:
-four skins: SoulWorker, Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-five basic offensive powers
-two boosts
-one Xtreme
-two effects packs - a regular one and one that fits the DesireWorker skin
-two voice packs - a default hero one and a villain one
-a grab smash whose damage can be upgraded by ranking up the first power

Switching between effects packs is done by overwriting the effects files inside effects/char/haru_estia (in the game directory) with whichever effects files you want - either from the effects/desire folder or from the effects/default folder. You will also need to do the same thing for models/bolton/haru_soulum.igb and models/chunks/soulumRain.igb, two entities which are used as effects for powers.

The procedure is the same for switching between voice packs. Replace sounds/eng/h/a/haru_v.zss and haru_m.zsm (in the game directory) with the same two files from either sounds/default or sounds/desire.

VERY IMPORTANT: Before you install this mod, make sure to backup 0501.igb inside ui/models/mannequin and inside textures/loading. They are, respectively, the model for Thing that you see when you're in the character selection screen and he's not on the team, and his loading screen. Haru's mannequin and loading screen overwrite his. Also, make sure that Thing is not on your roster when you start a new game. Not taking these measures can result in glitches.

It has come to my attention that the grab smash ability was not working. This issue should be fixed now, as I had forgotten to include two interact files.

I have updated the download link as well. Download the mod again and take the interact files from the actors and data/fightstyles folders and place them in those respective folders in the game files. That should fix the grab smash not working.

It has been brought to my attention that people have had issues with power textures for Armor Smash and Best Served Cold, and for people playing with consoles, icon related issues as well. In addition, there were issues with the way powers and power ranks were being unlocked. This has been hotfixed. If you experienced such issues, please visit the first post on this thread and download the mod again. And my deepest apologies extended to you for this goof-up.

For the texture problem, very much worth noting is that there are new .igb assets inside the texture folder, and two new folders, decals and nextgen, which also contain .igb files. Make sure you add those to your respective game files, and make sure that you overwrite the talents file and the effects files from the previous Haru mod version with this latest hotfixed version's.

Many thanks to the people who let me know of these issues, A.K.A. UltraMegaMagnus and Anderson Brazil, and as always, thank you very much for your consideration of downloading and playing with my mod! I hope these fixes will suffice.

Upon further consultation with some people, my most recently posted hotfix did not resolve the icons issue. However, some modifications I made in the package files have been confirmed to make them appear for console users as they should. I have made a mediafire link to an archive with the good package filesw which you can download and overwrite the current package files with. Thank you for your patience.

I updated my Haru Estia mod with some minor bug fixes and changes.

What you can expect from this update:

-two new loading screens for the Advancement and DesireWorker skins
-fixed an issue which caused HUD effects such as the low HP ring or the Xtreme ready ring appearing behind the actual HUD icons
-fixed an issue which caused control users to not be able to see power icons while in-game
-added a texture to the hair of the Advancement skin

Big issues that still remain:

-for some people (don't know, but maybe even for everyone), the power textures appear corrupted. On my end, everything looks fine. I'm not sure how to fix this yet, but fixes I tried yesterday and the day before didn't work. I'll have to think something up.

Link to the update: http://www.mediafire.com/file/hkvn9nrdfs1yp9g/Haru_Estia_V1.1.rar/file

For those of you who have already installed the first version, 1.0, you only need the following:

-actors/0507.igb
-data/talents/haru_estia.engb
-all the files inside packages/generated/characters
-all the .igb files inside textures
-all the files inside textures/nextgen
-all the files inside textures/decals
-0502.igb and 0503.igb from textures/loading
-all the files inside hud

Replace where necessary.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and for your continued interest in this mod! Until next time.

It's been roughly 3 weeks since I first announced this mod on Discord, and now, the time is finally upon us! Everyone, welcome my second mod ever, the Lily Bloomerchen mod, to the fold!

BIOGRAPHY

Lily Bloomerchen was an affluent teenager from Stair Second, the planet Earth from an alternate universe. She once lived a luxurious life inside the mansion of the reputable Bloomerchen family. However, even that lifestyle would end in the blink of an eye when a catastrophe befell her world, caused by a phenomenon known as the Vacuum, spawning countless nightmarish creatures, dubbed SoulJunk, as well as the attention of a warlike alien race known as the Vessi.

In a single night, Lily lost everything, and was forced to helplessly watch her brother being savagely devoured by a monster. Mentally overwhelmed by the horrific image of what she witnessed, and the inconceivable idea that everything she had was gone, she snapped. As the Void's unknown energies consumed the area, the ruins of her brother's room were filled with maniacal laughter, and they became the birthplace of one of the most vicious enemies mankind has ever known. Lily gave in to Desire all too easily, and she became the DesireWorker of Madness, granting her superhuman physical attributes, as well as the ability to materialize a scythe out of thin air from Desire.

Since that moment, like air for the lungs and rest for the weary eyes, bloodshed and the prospect of death became necessary for Lily's happiness. She joyously slaughtered thousands of creatures, no matter their alignment, in a relentless pursuit of one foe who would be powerful enough to kill her. So intoxicated she came to be by this ambition, that no wound, however grievous, would faze her anticipation for that which could deal a final blow to her. Eventually, a young man named Tenebris faced Lily, and proved capable of reigning victorious against her. However, much to the mad girl's dismay, he spared her life and took her as a prisoner and DesireWorker in rehabilitation of the refugee site known as Grasscover Camp.

After many failed attempts by numerous people at restoring Lily's humanity, the two fought once again, with the initial promise that this battle would be her last. However, before the moment of execution, Tenebris understood at long last that it was not carnage that she craved, but her own demise. Taking advantage of this mindset, and in a final attempt to convince the girl to hang onto her life even just a little longer, he struck a deal - if Lily can aid him and the other warriors in the camp in their efforts to defend Grasscover Camp and push back the horrors of the Vacuum threatening it, he would use his great power to kill her. Reluctantly, she accepted, knowing power as great as his was not so easy to come by, and for years, her time would be spent either in a holding cell or on the battlefield in defense of the camp.

In the end, the man who promised her death disappeared, in which she saw enough reason to leave the camp to continue her pursuit of strong enemies, until eventually, she joined the villainess Haru Estia and her followers in her quest to destroy all life in the Vacuum.

Fifteen years since the tragedy, whatever remained of Lily's mind was taken over by Kant, in an attempt to use her power, as well as that of five other DesireWorkers, to defeat a goddess called Rosca. After a crushing defeat in the favor of the divine, each of Kant's mind controlled warriors were sent to separate timelines, outside the Vacuum, inducing permanent amnesia of all the events that took place up until the present.

When she first opened her eyes, Lily saw a world in danger, and her new greed became the salvation of its people. This former menace to society soon became lauded as a hero, winning countless battles against foes who would've otherwise destroyed mankind.

To this day, Lily remains humanity's last true hope against the many threats it faces.

This mod features:
-four skins: SoulWorker, Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-five basic offensive powers
-two boosts
-one Xtreme
-two voice packs to choose from - a default hero one, and a more villainous one to better fit the DesireWorker skin
-two effects packs to choose from - default, and one that better fits the DesireWorker skin
-three loading screens

In order to install either voice pack, you must overwrite lily_v.zss and lily_m.zsm inside sounds/eng/l/i (in the game directory) with the same two files located in sounds/desire or default/eng/l/i, inside the mod directory.

The procedure is the same for installing either effects pack - overwrite the .xmlb effects files in effects/char/lily_bloomerchen (in the game directory) with the same .xmlb effects files located in effects/default or desire/char/lily_bloomerchen inside the mod directory.

Please also make sure that you have overwritten the powerstyle file with the one from this newest update, as it contains changes necessary for the full implementation of the alternate voice and effects packs.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you have Outsider's Quake mod, then before you install this mod, make sure to backup 11601.igb inside ui/models/mannequin and 11601.igb, 11602.igb and 11603.igb inside textures/loading. They are, respectively, the model for Quake that you see when you're in the character selection screen and he's not on the team, and her loading screens. Lily's mannequin and loading screens overwrite hers. Also, make sure that Quake is not on your roster when you start a new game. Not taking these measures can result in glitches.

I've put together a hotfix of minor issues for the Lily Bloomerchen mod. The link can be found at http://www.mediafire.com/file/4s05h8bycj54iyk/Lily+Bloomerchen+V1.0.5.rar/file. I'd recommend everyone to download this update, because it also adds an effect that I neglected to include in the first archive, but you should especially download this if you downloaded V1.0 and experienced issues resembling texture corruption.

This also features a hotfix to her talents file, which fixes an issue causing the Xtreme power to be available from level 1.

For those of you who already have V1.0, you only need to overwrite all of Lily's effects files inside effects/char/lily_bloomerchen, her talents file, and drag and drop the .igb files inside textures and textures/nextgen to the respective folders inside the game files.

Hopefully this should fix what I believe would be broken otherwise. I would once again like to thank you for your interest in my work, and I sincerely hope you enjoy playing as Lily! Corvette, taking off.

I have put together a new update for my Haru Estia mod. This update features:

-a new skin, called SoulJustice, as the fourth skin
-a new HUD for the fourth skin
-major fixes to an issue which caused a sword to appear in Haru's hand at seemingly random times

The link to the archive is here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/twunfz6husve0xp/Haru+Estia+V1.2.rar/file

For those of you who have already installed my Haru Estia mod (presumably V1.1 - if not, I'd recommend just overwriting everything to be safe), the only files of interest are the 0509 files inside packages/generated/characters, the 0509.igb file inside actors, the talents file, the powerstyles file and the herostat entry (you will have to replace the old Haru Estia herostat entry with the new one, inside of your herostat.cfg/herostat.engb file).

I wouldn't consider this update to be big, but I would still say that a lot of people will be happy with the fixes at least. I have the creator's bias, so to speak, and even I found it annoying to encounter that sword issue over and over again during gameplay. That, and those who enjoy magical girl shows will love the new skin.

Thank you once again for your interest in my work, and I hope you have a joyous time with it! Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

Just like Haru Estia, Lily Bloomerchen now has a fourth skin, called SoulJustice, with the new V1.1 update, which can be found at this link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/3he5574k72wddcg/Lily+Bloomerchen+V1.1.rar/file

To those of you who have installed V1.0.5 (for everyone else, I'd recommend just dragging and dropping all the contents of the archive to their respective folders to be on the safe side), the following are the files of interest which you must drag and drop to their respective folders (some will require overwriting):

-actors/11611.igb
-the powerstyles file
-the talents file
-hud/hud_head_11611.igb
-models/bolton/justScytheHemorrhage.igb
-packages/generated/characters/the 11611 .igb files
-the herostat entry

Along with this update, I must unfortunately announce the following - for the time being, at least, I am suspending my combo recommendation and synergy recommendation videos on YouTube. I am sorry to those who appreciated that content, but I'm afraid they are rather time consuming, and at the moment I would rather spend that time working on future mods. I may resume making them in the future, should the demand for them be sufficiently high. But make no mistake - the mod showcase videos aren't going anywhere. They're here to stay and always will be.

Thank you for your understanding, and for your interest in my work. I sincerely hope it's fun to play with in-game. Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

I imagine some people who have been playing with Haru's DesireWorker skin, myself very much included, were bugged by the way her long coat behaves while she's running, among other animations. Which is why I went ahead and... fixed it? I wouldn't say it looks perfect as a result of the changes I made, but it certainly looks a lot less bad now IMO. The link to the skin is here, just replace the 0508.igb file in your actors folder with the file at this link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/s3ppi32yh8uy3rt/0508.igb/file (this of course assumes you have installed the mod)

There are some other improvements to the skin's appearance, the most notable one being that the texture on her right arm has been partially fixed (a full fix would require an overhaul of the entire skin, which I'm leaving on the back burner at the moment).

Hope you found these fixes useful! Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

As my third contribution to the vast selection of MUA character mods, I present to you Jin Seipatsu!

BIOGRAPHY

Jin Seipatsu was a caring young man from Stair Second, the Planet Earth of an alternate universe, and his pure nature would bleed into his actions. He is a person who has taken on countless volunteering jobs which would enable him to work with and aid people, from common professions such as barbecue chef and factory engineer, to even more dangerous ones such as lifeguard and rescue team member. Before his life was forever changed by the Vacuum which cursed his world, his final profession was that of a warehouse manager at a refugee site.

Despite even Jin himself feeling dread gnawing at him, he would always overcome himself in order to bring peace of mind to any refugees sick with worry that they may not survive, through reassurance. Unfortunately, his blind optimism was for naught, as the fearsome darkness of the Vacuum suddenly began to consume the area. Guilt-ridden by his self-imagined failure to protect the people, he committed to an insane act of running straight into the heart of that emptiness in a flimsy attempt to rescue the mother of a lone, young child.

His effort rendered worthless, Jin was now stuck in a vast area covered in bleakness and teeming with monsters, known as SoulJunk, seeking to satiate their ravenous appetite by preying on powerless humans. And in that moment, he himself was human no more, for his great willpower to intervene and rescue people, in spite of his incredible fear, has earned him an equally great power, fueled by SoulForce, to fire energy blasts from his hands. His survival successful for the moment, he continued to roam the Vacuum until he came upon a refugee camp, called Grasscover Camp, established by a man called Lord and his best friend, Tenebris, whom he joined without so much as a first thought.

Over time, Jin had truly come to aspire to become as admirable an individual as these two founders of the camp, who would defend and rescue people every single day, and even return the ones misguided by Desire, known as DesireWorkers, to their former human selves on rare occasions. Thanks to this aspiration, he could truly dedicate himself to the wellbeing and defense of Grasscover Camp's people, until one day, Tenebris entrusted the camp to him, should something happen to him.

Before long, this faction would become crippled from incalculable losses, the worst of which being the disappearance of Tenebris. With its leadership gone, and essential supplies dried out, Grasscover Camp was forced to become a travelling camp with Jin as its spearhead.

Though, initially, they searched high and low for unclaimed supplies, the people of Grasscover Camp soon realized that is a futile effort in the barren wasteland of the Vacuum, where not even so much as the hunting of animals was possible. Left with no other choice, they began considering the idea of raiding and pilfering other camps of humans in order to survive. Though the naturally righteous and compassionate Jin could not abide such criminal and unethical behavior, he all the same could not ignore the starved cries of his people, and thus agreed to such drastic measures, with the condition that nobody is killed and supplies will eventually be compensated for at a later time.

It is this naivete that would contribute immensely to his downfall, for the fight for supplies was a fight to the death, and such idealistic conditions could not possibly be met. When the rivaling camp laid defeated at his feet, Jin saw their lifeless bodies. It became clear to him in a matter of painful seconds - the Grasscover Camp that Tenebris entrusted to Jin committed genocide for selfish reasons.

Victorious, but psychologically destroyed, Jin refused to partake in any of the food or water looted from those he had slain, for his guilt would not let him. He ended up starving himself for an entire month, long enough that any creature would have perished, were it not for the forbidden power of Desire inadvertently gripping him during his self-loathing and sustaining him. And yet not even the terrible fatigue, stomach aches and depression did not affect him as much as the sight of his people smiling and rejoicing, bellies full, despite their reprehensible actions that day.

When supplies ran out again, Jin decided he could not tolerate any further loss of life, and and thus took a stance strictly against raids. So firm was his conviction, he led the remnants of the late Grasscover Camp into the freezing cold of the mountains, where no SoulJunk could survive and nobody else would gamble their life away to search.

Yet his considerable efforts were in vain, for the snow-capped mountains were just as barren as everywhere else. The people who faithfully followed him, now condemned to freeze to death, cursed his foolish idealism which prevented them from finding other camps to raid. In this moment, the last scrapes of optimism Jin had left in him vanished. Blaming himself for the suffering he caused, and for his incompetence as a leader which led to such a cruel ending, he saw no other choice than to slaughter his people. He would preserve the Grasscover Camp his hero Tenebris left him at all costs, one where people could exist in the Vacuum with a sense of ethics, no matter the cost.

Thus was the birth of the DesireWorker of Passion, whose philosophy was that the only true way to be saved in the Vacuum is death, and his goal became bringing his salvation not only to humans, but also DesireWorkers, SoulJunk and every other kind of creature stuck in the Vacuum, even if he must drench himself in sin.

After a decade and some of dedication to this quest, his mind was dominated by the will of Kent, from whom his power once came, and he became a puppet to oppose the goddess Rosca with, alongside the five other remaining DesireWorkers. He suffered the same crushing defeat as the others, before being sent to an alternate timeline, outside of the Vacuum-conquered areas, with no memory of anything that had happened.

As if fate itself could not stand Jin Seipatsu dirtying his soul with such bloodshed, he returned to his previous self, defined by a bottomless well of enthusiasm for the future, even as he saw a dying world in need of help and awakened as a SoulWorker to save it. Lauded as a hero and role model by too many to count, to this very day, he stands as a mighty and stalwart sentry against the countless threats that would've otherwise erased mankind.

This mod includes:
-four skins: SoulWorker, Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-four basic offensive powers
-two boosts and one debuff
-one Xtreme
-two effects packs, a default one and one that better fits the DesireWorker skin
-two voice packs, a default hero one and a villain one
-a mechanic which allows him to build up attack speed using basic attacks
-three loading screens

If you wish to switch between the default and desire effects packs, all you have to do is overwrite the effects files inside effecs/char/jin_seipatsu inside your game directory with the same effects files found inside effects/desire/char/jin_seipatsu, or effects/default/char/jin_seipatsu, inside the mod directory. The procedure is the same for the voice packs - replace sounds/eng/j/i/jin_v.zss and jin_m.zsm in the game directory with the same files found in sounds/default or desire/eng/j/i.

WARNING: This mod clashes with Outsider's Falcon mod. In order to install and use the Jin Seipatsu mod without any unforeseen side effects, you must remove Falcon from your in-game roster and backup ui/models/mannequin/24101.igb, as well as textures/loading/24101.igb, 24102.igb and 24103.igb. Neglecting to do so will cause issues.

I have decided to make some changes to the way my mod catalog works here. Previously, my first post would contain the Mediafire download links for the mods, as well as the link for the mod showcase. I have modified that so that it instead provides links towards the release post, which in turn provides the download link. This, of course, also means that any mod updates I release from now on will be included in the release posts, rather than my first post. I figure this would lead to less confusion, so to speak, as before I made this change, my release posts were never updated to include the latest version, and they also never specified that said latest version would be in the first post.

Hello everyone! My apologies for the seemingly long delay of the Jin Seipatsu mod showcase video. Think not for a second that I've given up on the idea. However, in the meantime, I wanted to put together some fixes and quality of life improvements, ranging from minor to rather major, for all of my three mods so far. Jin Seipatsu has received the most, I'd say. So, let's get right into it:

The new update to my Jin Seipatsu mod, V1.1, features the following changes:

-fixed an issue which would cause Jin to not stop talking and a sound effect to keep playing during the defensive stance of Reactive Field, especially at high attack speeds
-added attack speed stacking to Jin's ground attacks (his attacks when hitting an enemy that is lying down), 10% per hit, and nerfed the attack speed gained from light attacks from 10%/20%/30% to 10%/15%/20%, respectively
-added an effect to Jin's gauntlets during his Xtreme
-fixed an issue which caused Jin's second boost, High Spirits, to reduce energy consumption a LOT more than intended
-also fixed an issue with High Spirits which caused leveling the ability to make the energy consumption decrease lower
-fixed an issue which caused Ki Burst to slow enemies down by a lot more than intended
-made some changes to the names and/or descriptions of some powers, including the Xtreme, which is now called "Punisher of the Void"

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/bxyq74zajc2r39l/Jin+Seipatsu+V1.1.rar/file

The new update to Haru Estia, V1.3, features a few minor fixes:

-fixed an issue with Haru's long coat behaving oddly when using the DesireWorker skin, especially during animations such as push/pull
-fixed an issue with one of Haru's... coat belts, for lack of a better term, when using the Advancement skin, which caused them to appear distorted during animations such as running
-changed the name of her Xtreme to "Executioner of the Void"

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/akdkibg5qgqgkn2/Haru+Estia+V1.3.rar/file

And finally, the new version of Lily Bloomerchen, V1.2, also features some fixes:

-fixed an issue which caused Lily to randomly hold her scythe at times when she should not, especially if controlled by AI. However, this comes at the cost of all of Lily's powers being uninterruptable, making her more powerful, to the dismay of some
-fixed an issue with the combo text of any combo which includes Lily's Mad Lunge power
-renamed her Xtreme to "Reaper of the Void"
-made it so that her effects files reference texture assets which are completely separate from the game's vanilla textures. Make sure you drag and drop the .igb files inside the texture folder

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/j2o5ktnkqc3ptn4/Lily+Bloomerchen+V1.2.rar/file

Next up is the Jin Seipatsu mod showcase video. I'm glad I got these fixes out of the way for now. Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

My next mod will actually be a 2 for 1 special. For that reason, I'm afraid I must set the expectation that it may take a little longer to put this next batch of content out, but my hope is that the extra time I will have taken will also have made it worth the wait.

I'd rather not risk keeping people with unanswered questions or anything, so I would like to announce right now that, given some real life things currently going on, my overall mod development is likely to be slower. Apologies for any inconvenience to those who are looking forward to my future content.

I know what I said in what is quite literally the post just before this one, but I kind of felt like binging on mod development lately, so here we are. This time, we've got a 2 for 1 special. Everyone, welcome Stella Unibell and Fuu Chan to the fray!

BIOGRAPHY 1

Stella Unibell was once merely an orphaned young villager, who was yet not born quite like everyone else. For as long as she can remember, she has been able to see and communicate with spirits, as well as be a means for such entities to manifest in the physical realm. Unfortunately, this gift proved to be little more than a curse. Her people, paranoid of what she might do with such power, labeled her an outcast and a target for endless prejudice and cruelty.

Numbered were the days that the young Stella would spend without an expression of hatred from other villagers, be it through profane insults or even physical abuse. Overwhelmed the entire time by a mix of heartbreak and confusion as to why her people would do this, she persistently tried to approach and befriend them, only for that sweetness to be brutally rejected in return. In the end, the only company she had was that of the spirits she conjured, at every step seeking to comfort her.

Down the line, an event beyond understanding transpired, caused by an alien power named the Vacuum, which affected the village. Without a second thought, the inhabitants of the area put the blame on Stella, an act from which she finally had her fill. Blind with tears, she left the world behind and willingly entered the area conquered by the Void, where she found a ruined building in which she could embrace solitude for the rest of her days.

Though most of her time in these ruins was spent in peace and silence, there were times when Stella would inevitably encounter other people. Her insistence firm on being lonely, believing that she brings only evil to society, she violently drove away anyone foolish enough to get close with the help of the spirits accompanying her.

In spite of this, one day, she met a child named Catherine. Before she could be repelled, the two became fast friends and spent time together, even to the point where this girl would offer Stella a present. For one who was hated her entire life, this was an extraordinary occasion, bringing with it happiness of the kind that she never felt before. Finally, there was someone who not only didn't hate her, but seemingly cherished her.

But fate had forbidden this child from savoring any more than a brief respite from suffering. One day, a small team, led by the SoulWorker Tenebris, ambushed the ruins where she dwelled with her new friend, aiming to save her from what they perceived to be confinement. Stella raged against this act of intrusion and commanded her spirits to kill the invaders. Ultimately, the combined efforts of her and her spirits were not enough to defeat this squad and stop them from taking Catherine.

One member of this team was Kant, a god in disguise who was secretly responsible for the creation of the Vacuum. He mercilessly smashed Stella's present in front of her as she laid helpless on the ground, seeking to trigger her awakening as a DesireWorker.

His plan a terrific success, the young girl eventually rose to her feet with a new belief - that she is not human, and therefore can never pursue happiness. And with that final moment of reflection, she resolved to exterminate all of mankind as vengeance, while continuously damning the unfairness of her fate. To that end, she eventually joined a collective led by another individual with a similar aspiration, called Haru Estia, and together with them, became responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocents.

15 years after Stella first entered the Vacuum, her mind became subject to the total control of Kant, whose plans were at the time threatened by a goddess called Rosca. Thus, Stella, along with five other mind controlled DesireWorkers, would be used to fight her, only to fall defeated at her feet. In what followed, all six of Kant's warriors were sent to separate timelines, outside of the Vacuum, inducing loss of all memories of the events which transpired there.

After waking up, the first thing she saw was a world threatened from all sides by otherworldly creatures, and so, she came to fight against them. These actions led to the love and appreciation of humanity as a whole, the same species she once unknowingly sought to slay, and she was greeted as a heroine. Since then and until present day, she has been on the front lines as the last hope of the human race and saving it from forces which would've otherwise destroyed it.

This mod features:
-4 skins: SoulWorker, Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-3 loading screens (plus an alternate loading screen for the DesireWorker skin, that doesn't have those red cracks, for those who dislike that aspect of the original DesireWorker loading screen)
-two voice packs - a default hero one, and a villainous one which better fits the DesireWorker skin
-two effects packs: a default one, and another which better fits the DesireWorker skin
-a mechanic which allows Stella to change her entire powerset by using a boost power (except her Xtreme)
-6 offensive powers and 4 status boosts in total, as well as one Xtreme

In order to switch between the two voice packs, you must take stel_v.zss and stel_m.zsm from sounds/default or desire/eng/s/t inside the mod directory and overwrite those same two files in sounds/eng/s/t in your game directory.

The procedure is the same for switching between effects packs - you must take all the .xmlb files inside effects/default or desire/char/stella_unibell in your mod directory and overwrite those same .xmlb files inside effects/char/stella_unibell in the game directory.

Credits and known issues can be found inside the Readme.txt file.

VERY IMPORTANT: This mod clashes with Outsider's Ant Man mod. Before you install this mod, please backup ui/models/mannequin/25201.igb, as well as textures/loading/25201.igb, 25202.igb and 25203.igb. Also, please remove Ant Man from your roster. Neglecting to do this will result in issues.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BIOGRAPHY 2

Little is known of the origins and identity of the astral entity known by the name of Fuu Chan, other than that he has already joined the ranks of the dead and that his physical manifestation is a cursed body. However, his present status is very much clear - he has sworn to raise and defend a young girl known as Stella Unibell, along with any spirits conjured by her, at any cost.

Ever since Stella's birth, Fuu has been with her. Having come into being with the supernatural power of being able to see and speak to spirits, the community of the village she was born in was overcome with paranoia at what she might do with these abilities, which prompted them to shun her.

But it was more than just loneliness that Fuu would be forced to witness Stella experiencing. Unprovoked verbal and physical violence were commonplace for this poor girl, regardless of her intentions and actions. His hatred for mankind growing steadily each day, he tried to convince the child to stop trying to befriend such cruel people, and instead simply despise them as he did, but to no avail. Her pure heart longed for understanding, and would not be deterred so easily from eventually being accepted, and so, for years to come, she would continuously, yet fruitlessly, attempt to approach people in hopes of forming friendships.

One day, a disaster befell their home world, Stair Second, including the village that they lived in. Full of nothing but suspicion, the villagers stacked their blame onto the harmless Stella, blinded by fear of that which they could not understand. It was with this outburst that she finally made the decision to leave, heading straight for the Vacuum, where she hoped to find solitude and isolation from the rest of humanity for as long as she had left to live. Fuu Chan and the spirits followed.

Stella and her ethereal companions spent most of their time in the ruins of an abandoned building. It was here that, over time, she would obtain another power called Desire, which allowed her to materialize a guitar out of thin air, through which to manifest many harmful effects such as energy blasts and electricity, at the cost of this power slowly eroding her mind. On rare occasions, humans would chance upon the ruins they called home, only to be repelled in a most violent manner. That is, until the time that they met a young girl called Catherine.

Though at first reluctant to interact with another human, Stella and Fuu found that this child was full of nothing but friendliness and compassion. Even the pain riddled DesireWorker couldn't help but be absorbed into interacting with her, and so, they quickly became best friends. For once, it seemed like she could finally experience the peace of a normal life, with loved ones.

Only a few days later, however, that hope would be shattered pitilessly by a squad with the SoulWorker Tenebris as its leader, in whose eyes Catherine was a hostage of Stella. Despite the best, desperate efforts of Fuu and the spirits which he commands to prevent them from having their way, they failed, and Stella snapped under the despair of losing her friend.

She soon declared that she would destroy mankind for what they have done to her, an ambition which Fuu Chan assisted her in achieving without question, wishing only for this tortured girl's heartfelt smile. Before long, they banded up with a team of individuals just like them, led by a DesireWorker named Haru Estia, and so they started bringing true annihilation to the portion of the human race which was stranded in the Void.

15 years after they first entered the Vacuum, Stella's mind was taken over by Kant, and thus she became a weapon to fight against the golden goddess Rosca. With no other option, Fuu Chan fought valiantly at her side, if only to protect her. After suffering a crushing defeat, the two were sent to a separate timeline, outside of the Vacuum, leaving the young girl with no memory of anything that happened there.

Stella's first waking moments were spent observing the broken, helpless state of the world she now lived in, under the influence of countless monsters of alien origins. It was thus that, much to the shock of Fuu Chan, she resolved to help humanity using her powers, and awakened as the SoulWorker of Sorrow, in spite of their innumerable crimes against it. Ever since, they have saved countless people from unspeakable dangers, and continue to do so to this very day.

Though Fuu Chan's contempt for the human race has not lessened in the slightest, stronger than this feeling of spite is his genuine wish to support Stella Unibell in anything she does. If the child wishes for their salvation, so be it.

This mod includes:

-one Classic skin
-4 powers, 2 boosts, 1 debuff and 1 Xtreme
-unique SFX
-teleportation mechanics, very similar to those of Deadpool and Nightcrawler

Credits and known issues can be found inside the Readme.txt file.

Lately, I have encountered some texture related issues when running a full team with nothing but my mods. They have a tendency to fail to load in time, instead being replaced by those yellow and purple effect squares, usually indicating that the texture is missing. This affects not only the team members' effects, but also the effects of enemies and even loading screens. I have concluded that the reason why this happens is because of game limitations being tested by the sheer amount of effects. Truth be told, my latest mods, Stella Unibell and Fuu Chan, are very effect heavy.

I will try to think of a way to solve this, most likely by cutting down on some effects without crippling the character's aesthetics too much, but at the moment, I'm afraid I cannot promise anything. In the meantime, I would recommend that, in the event that you play with my mods, try not to make an entire team of 4 with them if you want to avoid such issues. It should still be fine if you still have a team of 4 but not all of them are my mods or other equally effect intensive mods. Thank you for your understanding.

I have some good news for people who have inevitably found issues with the effects of my mods - I have finally figured out why, in spite of everything looking fine in the mod showcase videos, the effects of powers look strange for other people, or not as they should. The truth is, I developed and tested these mods in an environment consisting of a set of game files that I modified quite heavily 6 years ago. Expect the next update to include an absolute fix for these effects issues.

In the meantime, I can provide an immediate partial solution for Haru Estia's effect problems - make sure you turn fullscreen effects off in the game's video settings.

Other than that, my apologies for this colossal screw-up of taking almost half a year to figure this out and basically leaving my mods' effects as eyesores for everyone else. In two weeks time, I will attempt to provide fixes.

The time has come for the fifth SoulWorker to enter the catalog. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, the personification of fury, Iris Yuma!

BIOGRAPHY

Iris Yuma was once daughter to a renowned family of an alternate Earth, named Stair Second. The prestige of her bloodline brought, along with its privilege, a shackle of destiny - she would constantly be compared to her siblings, and expected to develop as a true heir of the Yuma's legacy, much in opposition to her simpler, more common wish to just be herself. Unspoken words and unexpressed feelings piled up over the years, building a natural distrust for adults and contempt for regulations and orders, and culminated at last in high school, in the wake of a bullying incident in which one of Iris' friends got caught.

Witness to this harassment, she became outraged and put an end to it through violent means, earning the scrutiny of her parents, who were prepared only to reward her loyalty to her friend with scolding. A terrible fight sparked that afternoon, after which Iris made the impulsive decision to run away from home. As she made her way, a general evacuation order rang throughout the city, in response to an unprecedented phenomenon bringing chaos to the people, now known by all as the Vacuum.

She promptly returned to the place where her home resided, only to find a shambled ruin of what it once was. Realizing that her family is dead under the rubble and that her life had been stripped away from her, Iris became consumed by a crude mix of grief and rage, carrying her into the insane act of running straight into the heart of the Vacuum with the intent to destroy it as revenge.

As her mind cleared up, she found herself in a vast, empty area, bustling with wrecked buildings of all shapes and sizes, broken beyond comprehension by the unnatural disasters which befell it what felt like mere moments ago. And even then, the greatest of her worries had yet to come - terrifying alien creatures stalked the land, called SoulJunk, feasting on prey of any and all matter in order to evolve.

Iris soon fell in the line of sight of such beasts. Before she could become their prey, an earnest wish for power filled her heart, and so she became a SoulForcer, gaining increased physical attributes as well as the ability to project energy blasts. Using this new power, she fended off her predators, and eventually came upon and joined an establishment of human refugees in this new hell - Grasscover Camp.

It was not long before Iris learned of the existence of humans who became twisted by a forbidden power native to the Vacuum named Desire, and who would go on to commit unspeakable crimes against humanity. Hearing of their dastardly deeds, she could feel naught but sick with contempt for any such individuals. This viewpoint would cause her to be at odds with the founders of the establishment, Lord and Tenebris, who actively attempted to bring in and cure this kind of people. She could not bear the thought of treating these perpetrators of genocide as victims after all they had done. And as it turned out, she was not alone in thinking this way.

Little time passed before many of the survivors of Grasscover Camp rallied under her proverbial banner as those who condemned mercy for the so-called DesireWorkers, sowing the seeds of in-fighting and the eventual fall of this refugee site. Empowered by the numbers at her back, Iris would come to yearn for more than just the accomplishment of her ideals, but simply for the feeling of being right. As that took precedence, she began to allow herself to engage in questionable acts, from endangering innocents by paying no mind to collateral damage with an "end justifies the means" mentality, to even going out of her way to attempt assassinations hidden as accidents on her fellow survivors with whom she disagreed.

Eventually, Iris saw fit to leave Grasscover Camp together with her following, never to return. She continued to perpetuate her spiteful view on the world, hardly ever noticing that she herself had become what she most hated - a DesireWorker. No emotion or thought crossed her mind, other than the total destruction of those like her, and so she has gone on to mercilessly slaughter hundreds of such humans, along with any innocents she deemed were in her way. Though no living beings would survive an encounter with Iris, none won her hatred more earnestly than Haru Estia, the perceived leader and role model of her targets, or Jin Seipatsu, the SoulForcer who at every turn stood steadfast more than anyone against her ideals of death to the ones corrupted by Desire.

15 years later, only a handful of DesireWorkers remained, herself included, a large fraction of whom had died at her hands. It was then that she fell to Kant's mind control, to be used as one of six warriors in a fight against the divine being Rosca. Sharing the same fate as the others, Iris was easily defeated, then sent to an alternate timeline outside of the Vacuum-conquered area. And when next she woke, amidst the ruins of a destroyed city, all memory was absent from her mind.

The first step Iris took into the present was to join a worldwide organization dedicated to the defense of mankind, called the Starry Forest League, driven by an unprecedented yet deep drive to protect humanity herself. Fail she did not, for she awakened as a SoulWorker soon after, and her fantastic power prevailed against countless threats of consequences otherwise unimaginable to the human race. She has become a revered heroine and a perceived invincible champion who will almost single-handedly bring salvation to a world starved of hope after a decade and half of depthless suffering.

This mod features:

-four skins: SoulWorker (default), Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-three loading screens, for the first three skins
-a mechanic which allows Iris to infinitely stack attack and defense whenever she hits an enemy with one of her first five powers
-five offensive powers, one debuff, one buff and one Xtreme (which is really a second buff)
-two voice packs - a default hero one and a villainous one which better fits the DesireWorker skin
-tons of camera shaking effects to portray this brawny beast of a girl

In order to switch between the two voice packs, you need to overwrite sounds/eng/i/r/iris_v.zss and iris_m.zsm inside your game directory with the same two files inside sounds/default or desire/eng/i/r in the mod directory.

Unfortunately, this mod is unlikely to get an effects pack for the DesireWorker skin in the future. The reason why is because the difference between her default skill effects and the skill effects she has in DesireWorker form is small, to the point where it cannot be captured with the mod's kit without changing her skill effects too much.

IMPORTANT: This mod clashes with BliZZ's Gambit mod. If you have that mod installed, then please backup ui/models/mannequin/21201.igb as well as textures/loading/21201.igb, 21202.igb and 21203.igb. In addition, please remove Gambit from your roster if you have him there. Failure to take these measures will result in bugs.

I have prepared a minor update to the Iris Yuma mod, which mostly consists of bug fixes. The following issues have been resolved, at least for the most part:

-issues with the energy cost of the first power, "Strike the Despicable"
-issues with the energy cost of the fifth power, "Hammer Time"
-when using the DesireWorker skin, the cannon on the back no longer sticks to Iris' back
-Iris Yuma's grab smash no longer uses Luke Cage's effects and has effects of its own (consists of a recolor to match the other powers)
-when executing the jump smash, the cannon no longer reappears on Iris' back (but there is a compromise - when flying and descending manually back to the ground, the cannon does not reappear on her back, can be made to reappear by simply using a light attack)

In the coming days, I will attempt to experiment with a possible means of making the stacking mechanic of the Iris Yuma mod take less of a toll on the game. Personal testing has revealed that it can even go as far as to make special attributes such as being shielded or Altered Genetics to stop working for elite enemies.

However, I must unfortunately almost guarantee that instead of having powers 1-5 being capable of generating stacks, it'll all be placed on the first power, and each individual stack will provide more stats. It may disappoint some, and the issue will still not be entirely fixed as enough stacks will still gradually break the game, but this affects gameplay quite heavily.

An update to the Iris Yuma mod, V1.1, is now up for grabs. It features quite significant changes which aim to greatly improve stability during gameplay.

The stacks gained by hitting enemies with powers 1-5 now have a limited duration, and no longer persist indefinitely. This was a necessary course of action, as the overall number of individual boosts is very likely what caused issues during gameplay in the first place. However, the attack and defense from each individual stack have been greatly increased.

Old values: 0.5-3 attack, 0.075-0.3 defense
New values: 2.5-5 attack, 0.25-0.5 defense

The specific boost values at any given time of a stack depends on the rank of the first power, Strike the Despicable, as usual.

Iris is still a bit weaker than I would like her to be, but at least now she no longer breaks the game. And I would say that she will still be a force to be reckoned with, as long as you use powers consistently during combat. She is very much a DPS type, whose damage shines over a period of time rather than in a moment.

Hopefully, she will also be the type of mod that doesn't break MUA now. At this point, she should also be relatively safe to play alongside complex characters, such as Erik Lehnsherr's Mysterio mod.

I put together a new update for my Haru Estia mod. The following changes were made:

-her 4th power, Whirl Blade, now travels a longer distance and more quickly, and knocks enemies back a shorter distance
-her sound files now have far more voiced lines, for her first power, Best Served Cold, as well as for her boosts and the typical scenarios such as choosing her during gameplay or defeating enemies

So I know it's kind of weird to come out with a new version like two days after the latest one, but I felt particularly inspired to mod recently, so this. I present to you the new version of my Haru Estia mod, V1.5. It features a second voice pack (.zsm and .zss files) and effects pack which more closely fit the DesireWorker skin. And yes, you can expect me to give the same treatment to my other mods as well (of the SoulWorker protagonists, so excluding Fuu Chan), on top of my next few mods (i.e. Erwin Arclight and Chii Aruel, Tenebris will not be counted for this).

I have made it so that these packs need you to overwrite the mod's files in order to be installed, in order to not make the powerstyle file too much for the game to process, and also because the alternate voice pack would not be fully possible otherwise. I have also made a small modification to the mod directory. In the effects folder, you will now see two subfolders: default and desire. Go for default to use the same effects as until now, and go for desire to use the new ones. The same is the case for the models folder and the sounds folder.

Here comes another update, this time for Jin Seipatsu. V1.2 is now officially released, and it features a new voice and effects pack to better fit the DesireWorker skin, just like the latest Haru Estia update.

The installation is exactly the same as with the first packs - just overwrite the effects files inside effects/char/jin_seipatsu inside your game directory with the effects files inside effects/desire/char/jin_seipatsu. And if you wish to go back to the default effects, they can be found inside effects/default/char/jin_seipatsu. Naturally, the same is the case for the voice pack - just overwrite sounds/eng/j/i/jin_v.zss and jin_m.zsm in the game directory with the same two files located in sounds/desire/eng/j/i.

I would also like to announce that there will be a video in the future which will serve as a showcase for these packs, all in one, after I have released my next three mods. Everyone will be able to refer to one single video on YouTube, with time stamps in the description, to see the showcases for all seven SoulWorker protagonist mods: Haru Estia, Lily Bloomerchen, Jin Seipatsu, Stella Unibell, Iris Yuma, Erwin Arclight and Chii Aruel.

Ready or not, here I come with the newest Lily Bloomerchen update, V1.3, which includes alternate voice and effects packs to better fit the DesireWorker skin.

In order to use the alternate voice pack, all you have to do is to take lily_v.zss and lily_m.zsm from sounds/desire/eng/l/i (inside the mod directory) and overwrite the same two files located inside sounds/eng/l/i in your game directory. If you wish to revert to the default voice pack, do the exact same thing except you take the files from sounds/default/eng/l/i.

The procedure for the effects pack is the same. Overwrite all the .xmlb effects files inside effects/char/lily_bloomerchen (inside the game directory) with the .xmlb effects files inside effects/desire/char/lily_bloomerchen (in the mod directory). Reverting back to the default effects can be done by overwriting the files in the same location in the game directory with the .xmlb effects files from effects/defaut/char/lily_bloomerchen.

Though I have to admit that this one doesn't make changes nearly as heavy to the feel of the character as Haru and Jin's packs did, I'm still rather satisfied with the outcome, given the material I had to work with and the fact that the good Lily and the bad Lily are not that different. I hope you enjoy this, and thank you for your continued interest in my work.

Please also make sure that you have overwritten the powerstyle file with the one from this newest update, as it contains changes necessary for the full implementation of the alternate voice and effects packs.

A new update for my Stella Unibell mod, V1.1, is fresh out of the oven and ready to be enjoyed. As was the case with my last few updates to my mods, this new update features an additional voice pack as well as an additional effects pack, both of which better fit Stella's villainous past self portrayed through the DesireWorker skin.

In order to switch between the two voice packs that are now available, you must take stel_v.zss and stel_m.zsm from sounds/default or desire/eng/s/t in your mod directory, and overwrite those same two files in sounds/eng/s/t in your game directory.

The procedure is the same for the effects packs - take the .xmlb files from effects/default or desire/char/stella_unibell in your mod directory and replace those same files in effects/char/stella_unibell in your game directory.

And I bet you thought that's all this update brings. But this time, we've got more to unpack than we did the last few times. I bring to you some fairly significant balance changes to Stella's first power and her boost.

-The damage dealt by Witch's Whim: Ravage and Instigate has been reduced by a third of its original value
-The bleed damage over time debuff applied by Witch's Whim: Ravage has been multiplied by 5
-The energy cost of Sorrow: Redeem and Curse has been cut in half, considering it's a bread and butter mechanic for Stella

In addition to this, I have made an alternate loading screen, also for the DesireWorker skin, named "25203 (alternate).igb" inside textures/loading. This loading screen lacks the messy red cracks that the original one has, however I am keeping that one in as well for those who prefer that. If you wish to switch between the two, just copy-paste the loading screen you want to use in textures/loading in your game directory and rename it to 25203.igb, overwriting the original.

A new update for the Iris Yuma mod, V1.1.5, is now up for grabs. It features an alternate voice pack which better fits the DesireWorker skin. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that she will get an effects pack as well, due to the very small difference between her normal skill effects and her DW form skill effects.

In order to switch between the two voice packs she now has, you need to overwrite sounds/eng/i/r/iris_v.zss and iris_m.zsm in your game directory with the same two files in sounds/default or desire/i/r in the mod directory.

I know what I said, but down the line after I started working on him, I surpassed my own expectations and got way too excited to share this mod with the world. So everyone, while it's a bit early, welcome Tenebris, the legendary SoulWorker of justice, to the world of MUA!

BIOGRAPHY

Few are the people of Stair Second, the planet Earth of an alternate universe, so ignorant as to not know the name Tenebris, which belongs to one of the most important figures of mankind during the apocalyptic times wrought upon the world by the Vacuum. Responsible for acts heroic as well as atrocious, his actions have had a significant impact on humanity's efforts to defend itself against the creatures seeking to consume it.

The story of this young man began with Grasscover Camp, a settlement created in the depths of the incomprehensibly large amalgamation of landscapes swallowed by the Vacuum, founded by himself and his best friend, Lord. The purpose of this place was to protect refugees and other such powerless people, with the help of SoulForcers and SoulWorkers, from the monsters roaming the vast bleakness. Among this alliance of defenders, Tenebris was the most powerful in combat, his strength being derived from the concept of justice.

The role of leader would already have been a stressful one to play, but that feeling was only amplified by the reality he was forced to face each day. Between the fear of death at the hands of some dreadful abomination, the worry for the survival of the people inhabiting Grasscover Camp and the newly emerging threat of humans driven insane with power by the Vacuum's energies, known as DesireWorkers, though generally stoic, serious and rational, even Tenebris couldn't carry this burden all by himself. Were it not for a number of close confidants with whom he shared his worries and weaknesses, he surely would've given under that weight, and thus he would be unknowingly manipulated by Kant, creator of the Vacuum in disguise, into a number of actions that would ultimately lead to the downfall of the settlement.

Eventually, the two founders would seek to bring in and rehabilitate DesireWorkers, with the viewpoint that they are not just inhumane murderers, but as much victims of the Vacuum as anyone else. This decision was not without controversy, for it was known to all what evils such people were capable of committing while animalistically satisfying their own greed - even at the cost of human life. And thus were sown the seeds of internal conflict and in-fighting among those who inhabited Grasscover Camp, between those who were of the same opinion as Tenebris and Lord and those who weren't. It would soon be revealed that the worries of those in opposition of this idea were not unfounded - a captured, young DesireWorker called Lily Bloomerchen would be responsible for killing a number of inhabitants from the inside during the rehabilitation effort.

The negative effect of this conflict would reach its peak when, one fateful night, the SoulForcer Erwin Arclight betrayed the settlement by freeing and running away with a captured DesireWorker, Haru Estia, believed to be dangerous, only to be seen again as lethal enemies maddened by Desire. In the wake of that incident, another SoulForcer by the name of Iris Yuma, known for being at the forefront of the initiative to condemn the rehabilitation of such people, exerted a powerful influence onto a significant portion of the inhabitants and left Grasscover Camp along with them, ultimately becoming a DesireWorker herself. To make matters worse, the founder Lord disappeared, and was presumed dead.

As a result, this refugee shelter grew considerably weaker from having lost so many people and SoulForcers over such a short span of time, and the outside dangers became more difficult to deal with. Battered in spirit by this chain of unfortunate events, Tenebris began to doubt his sense of justice, holding it accountable for everything transpiring as it did, and consequently grew weaker. In the end, he abandoned his now former patience for DesireWorkers, convinced by Kant to "follow his own justice" instead of that of a man who is no longer with him.

To mark the end of his association with Grasscover Camp, Tenebris discovered the truth behind Kant and attempted to fight him, only to be kicked out of the Vacuum-conquered landscape and into the outside world, which was significantly less affected. Awakened in this new part of the world, and with his memories lost, he became a member of a worldwide organization called Starry Forest League, founded to defend the world from the threat of the Void. Before long, he became famous across the world for protecting mankind from extreme dangers, the worthiest of note being the Golden Omen, a strange phenomenon brought by a powerful centaur-like creature which resulted in a portion of the world's skies turning gold, eroding the sanity of any affected by this influence.

But in spite of the infinite glory that came from his actions, a dissatisfaction plagued Tenebris, stemming from a belief that he and all other SoulForcers and SoulWorkers aligned with the Starry Forest League were being exploited and treated like tools. It was not long before this erupted into an effort to turn on the organization, in which all those like him joined, once he was sentenced to death on false grounds of treason after attempting to communicate with the Vessi. All of a sudden, the highly acclaimed Starry Forest League were in real danger of disappearing at the hands of their own greatest weapons, now the self-proclaimed Serenade Guild.

Finally, after countless crushing victories, Tenebris' resistance led them to the final frontier of the organization they once served - Grace City. But before they could seal their victory once and for all, they were without warning incinerated in an instant by a gigantic beam from the sky, courtesy of the divine being Rosca. In an instant, every single member of this dreaded resistance had been wiped off the face of the earth, leaving the Starry Forest League in a state of confused but significant relief, and this incident would become known in history by the name of "Bitterly Wept the Stars".

But it was not the end for Tenebris. Though severely disfigured by the intense sun-like heat he was abruptly forced to body, enough for even the restorative properties of his existence as a SoulWorker to not fully heal him, and now pushed into a life of obscurity with nothing left, he came to see the experience as a wake-up call. In that moment, a new belief took roots in his heart - that justice is defined by the powerful. And so, in order to enforce his idea of justice, he became power-hungry, eventually turning into a DesireWorker and aligning with Kant and the Vessi of the Rapid Flame, fully aware of what he has done.

To this day, Tenebris carries himself as a former hero and celebrity, in pursuit of the truest righteousness of all - the power to affect this world on a foundational level.

This mod features:

-two skins: SoulWorker and DesireWorker
-two loading screens
-three basic powers, one boost and one Xtreme
-generally a powerset which puts a heavy accent on basic attacks, with various effects from each combo
-two voice packs: a default one and one which better fits the DesireWorker skin
-lots of effects

In order to switch between voice packs, simply overwrite sounds/eng/t/e/tene_v.zss and tene_m.zsm inside the game directory with the same two files from sounds/default or desire/eng/t/e in the mod directory.

WARNING: This mod clashes with BliZZ's Punisher mod. I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint the people who have been following my work, briefly. I decided it is best for now to take back the promise of Erwin Arclight and Chii Aruel being my next mods. Truth be told, as a modder, an infinity of ideas for the next mod will be on your mind, and your mood kind of swings from character to character. I think, when making mods, the mood to make a mod of a certain character is the best possible window of opportunity during which to develop said mod, because it'll turn out better in the end. In that spirit, I'm going to stop declaring that this or that mod is going to get made next. I am sorry to the people who were looking forward to Erwin and Chii, but I hope you can understand my decision. I just don't want to end up in a situation where I finally get around to a character mod after some time, and then my former mood to make them is suddenly gone. I'm going to end up making said mod anyway, and when I do, I want it to turn out as well as I can make it.

In spite of this, I hope you will still tune in to the content I put out over time and find something to enjoy in my characters mods. Until next time, my friends.

I have a small update for my Tenebris mod. The purpose of it is to fix some minor issues, as follows:

-Fixed an issue causing Tenebris not to play his usual idle animation during the briefing dialogue part of a simulator mission
-Fixed an issue causing Tenebris not to play the swimming idle animation in Atlantis levels and instead using his regular idle
-Fixed an issue causing the second power, Shredding Current, to cost way less energy than intended.
-Fixed an issue causing certain quotes not to play when using the default voice pack. Personally, I found that the quotes for the boost power, Justice, were not playing.

Hasn't been a long time since my official release of Tenebris, but I bring to you, regardless, the DesireWorker of Obsession, Lerfenne!

BIOGRAPHY

Lerfenne was among the humans who were unfortunate enough to be trapped inside the Vacuum, a massive lump of alien energy which plunged Stair Second, the planet Earth of an alternate universe, into chaos without warning or reason. In an environment as dangerous as this, infested with terrible creatures known as SoulJunk, with an appetite for all matter, organic or otherwise, any lone regular person would either fall prey to said creatures or be mentally ruined by the malevolent essence which defines the Vacuum - Desire. She was of the latter type, as her obsessive nature drowned out all reason and humanity, even in this negative place, and empowered her with the ability to generate a weapon of her choice, the rapier, out of thin air, as well as vastly improved durability, stamina, strength, reflexes, agility and a healing factor.

After roaming the Vacuum all alone for some time, she was eventually defeated and captured by a man named Tenebris, taken to a shelter called Grasscover Camp, in hopes of successfully rehabilitating her from her broken state of mind. At the time, the inhabitants of the camp regarded this idea with little more than scoffs and raised eyebrows, for DesireWorkers are murderous animals with no human traits other than their appearance and intelligence. Against all expectations, the actions of Tenebris and his friend and co-founder of the camp, Lord, were seemingly successful, and Lerfenne was apparently cured of Desire's influence. She could once again walk among humans as one of them, untainted by this power... or so it was assumed. The truth was something else entirely.

Unbeknownst to all, the target of Lerfenne's obsession simply changed. Seeing Tenebris' determination to restore this poor victim's soul, in spite of everyone else's ugly stares, touched her to her very core, and thus she developed deep affectionate feelings for him. And yet she remained capable of rational thought and normal social interactions, in order to keep him close, thus attracting the suspicion of none. Mistaken for a SoulWorker henceforth, she fought bravely in defense of the people of Grasscover Camp, until its very end.

Though successful for a time, even this shelter could not withstand the countless dangers of the Vacuum forever. Negativity crept inside the hearts of its members, giving birth to infighting, and the eventual fall of Grasscover Camp, from the inside out. With this chapter behind her, Lupan too had to move on, and after a long time, she found herself out of the Vacuum, back into the outside world, her memories and even her Desire for Tenebris no more.

But her greed would persist, nonetheless. Though most who leave the Vacuum as SoulWorkers or DesireWorkers and awaken in the outside world latch on to a Desire to protect humanity, Lerfenne was an exception. She became obsessed with the Vacuum itself, and as a result, joined a cult-like organization, called the Vacuum Fanatics, which worships it and aims to bring about the apocalypse. During her time as a devotee to this cult, her physique has undergone transformations, such that her body became half-SoulJunk, as a result of her starting to devour such creatures for survival, and eventually, also for the twisted pleasure of enduring something so dangerous.

Lerfenne later re-emerged with this new identity, and was recognized as a former member of the late Grasscover Camp by others with associations to it, due to previous visions they had seen of the establishment. She was then captured and, to this very day, is subjected to inhumane experimentations by the Starry Forest League's scientists, in order to study the fusion between humans and SoulJunk and improve their war effort.

This mod features:

-one skin: DesireWorker
-4 basic powers
-1 debuff
-2 boosts
-1 Xtreme
-1 loading screen
-a mechanic which makes a power require the use of another power previously to be temporarily unlocked

WARNING: This mod clashes with Black Widow (vanilla). Before installing it, make sure to backup ui/models/mannequin/14801.igb and textures/loading/14801.igb, and remove her from your roster if she is there. Failing or neglecting to take these measures will result in issues.

Other than that, developing this mod has been a blast. I feel like I've realized my vision for the most part with this execution. I hope you enjoy playing with it, and that I'll see you again here, in my mod catalog, for my future mod releases.

Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

Barely a few minutes passed, and already I need to release a new version to fix some bugs. Sorry about that.

Changes made with version 1.0.5 of the Lupan mod:

-drastically reduced the energy costs of Obsess to Impress and Love, they previously had such a high energy cost that they couldn't be used at early levels at all
-Lupan now has quotes for leveling up, which I forgot to take care of earlier. Took some of her quotes from Obsess to Impress. Voiceover material's quite scarce with this one.

I've put together a very important archive, containing effects files for all the mods currently in the catalog (at the time of writing this, everything from Haru Estia to Lupan) so that a major issue is fixed. Previously, people playing with these mods might've experienced a problem causing yellow and pink squares to replace the typical effect textures. I believe that to be fixed now.

Credit goes to Ninja Kyden from the Discord server for helping me fix this issue.

I have put together a great number of videos today, showcasing not only nice and simple gameplay with all of my mods thus far (excluding Hu Tao), so that people can get a feel for the mod's gameplay (I don't think my lengthy and detailed skill breakdowns in the mod showcase videos can do that by themselves), but also the alternate voice and effects packs which better fit the DesireWorker skins. It's been a while, but I've got a treat for you. Than you for the wait, and without further ado, I introduce to you my ninth SoulWorker mod, and tenth mod overall, the SoulWorker of Delight, Erwin Arclight!

BIOGRAPHY

Excellence, fame, wealth, recognition. All herculean achievements by normal standards, but for the young man called Erwin Arclight, it took no challenge whatsoever to attain. Accomplished in life as a renowned game developer at the age of 18, though he never actively chased such success in the first place, he could only dismiss the world as boring, incapable of finding anything that would truly be deserving of his interest no matter how many days passed. That is, until a mysterious threat befell Stair Second, the Earth of an alternate universe, his home.

This threat would go down in history as the Vacuum. Along with it came immeasurable death and destruction, as nightmarish creatures, dubbed SoulJunk, started to appear, bent on devouring people. And to make matters worse, a gigantic lump of alien energy expanded across wide landscapes and everything that inhabited them, with no possibility for rescuing anyone caught inside. The average person would think of this and be overcome with unease for the present as well as the future, but Erwin Arclight was no average person. In his eyes, this was the excitement he had awaited his entire life.

In an act of what most people would define as insanity, Erwin willingly left his safe abode and approached the Vacuum, with a most genuine intention to enter it and discover its mysteries, and a wide grin of happiness on his face. Upon entering, he learned that inside the Vacuum, even more SoulJunk stalked the land than outside. Inevitably, he too would encounter such monsters himself after enough time. But these encounters did not end with him as a victim. Instead, he took in the unpredicted gifts of this place, becoming a SoulForcer, capable of projecting energy blasts, as well as gaining increased physical attributes. Thus was also born his desire to be an invincible hero, admired by men and coveted by women, not unlike the perfect figures of movies and comic books.

Eventually, he found a settlement called Grasscover Camp, founded by two young men, named Tenebris and Lord. Seeing this as a chance to find the recognition he fantasized about, he joined it as one of the few people who had the power to protect it from approaching SoulJunk. Unfortunately, what he was met with was quite the opposite of what he envisioned - his strange philosophies and attitude towards the dire situation that humans faced in the Vacuum prompted people to proceed with caution when around him, in spite of his actions which served the camp.

It wasn't long before he acknowledged the highly respected and immensely powerful SoulWorker, Tenebris, as his rival, whom he would one day overcome. Around this time, he also figured out that a member, known as Kant, was actually the one responsible for the Vacuum, infiltrated as a survivor and protector in order to facilitate the gradual transformation of the people of Grasscover Camp into DesireWorkers, people devoid of reason, morality or restraint whose only goal in life is to selfishly satisfy their greed, with no cost too great. Having realized this, Erwin once again made a decision no other person in their right mind would've - to take an interest in this dangerous, godlike creature and to hide the truth of his identity from others.

Thus began Erwin's mastery of the forbidden power, called Desire, under Kant's secret tutelage. He eventually came so far as to be able to have body parts cut off without it registering or causing any subsequent harm to him. But this would not fly without others growing suspicious of him. The other inhabitants of the settlement - Tenebris, more so than anyone else - began expressing their concerns that Erwin might become a DesireWorker if he's not careful, which he only saw as arrogance. Yet these concerns proved not to be unfounded, for he would be responsible for an event which would begin Grasscover Camp's fall down the line.

Though Kant and Tenebris were on Erwin's mind a fair amount, none drew his attention more than a teenage girl, called Haru Estia, who was being kept inside a tent indefinitely as a DesireWorker in rehabilitation. He later learned that she was also Kant's chosen masterpiece, and that she must be kept inside, left with nothing but her thoughts of revenge and grief to mull over, as part of his plans for her. And so, not only because he wished to trick and outsmart the progenitor of the Vacuum himself, but also because he wanted to see the girl's smile, he devised a plan to escape Grasscover Camp with her.

Though distant, unsociable and even threatening, Haru agreed to cooperate with him upon being sold on the promise that he would lead her to the one who created the Vacuum so that she could have revenge for what she had lost. Their attempt to run away a success, Erwin was labeled a traitor, and Kant became infuriated with him, knowing full well he tried to foil his plans. He eventually tracked the two runaways down to another settlement which was in close communication with Grasscover Camp, called Azland Camp, where he would soon watch both succumb to the irresistible influence of Desire.

As they spent time together, the walls around Haru's broken heart came down, and she grew close to Erwin, even coming so far as to declare that she would protect the people of Azland Camp, with whom she dined, laughed and grieved during her time there, with vengeance as a long term goal.

Though this success would prove to be a short-lived one on his part.

Barely two days since they made camp there, the people of Azland Camp received an anonymous tip from Grasscover Camp that two DesireWorkers recently escaped its boundaries, and thus plotted to kill the now suspicious Erwin and Haru in their sleep. The former, realizing the situation, was taken aback by Kant's sudden appearance before he could escape with her. Yet he was no longer angry; quite the opposite. Erwin had unknowingly provided the perfect opportunity for Haru to awaken as a true DesireWorker, by putting her in a position where she is forced to defend herself against and kill everyone in the camp she bonded with.

As the girl's last remaining fragments of optimism eroded under the realization of betrayal and maddened laughter, she transformed into the Void's greatest monster - the DesireWorker of Revenge. Knowing there was no other choice for him to survive, Erwin admitted defeat, and he too became the DesireWorker of Delight. The two, reborn as villains without principle, began their journey like so, towards the killing of all living beings in the Vacuum.

Their bloody campaign was all but successful, for Haru became a model and inspiration to all those like her, making them even stronger and more vicious, and no less than thousands of innocent victims met a miserable end at their mercy. Before long, even Grasscover Camp was annihilated, bringing with it the crumbling of the only hope humanity ever had in the Vacuum. Soon, there would be room only for chaos in this hell.

After 15 years had passed since Erwin first entered the Vacuum, his mind, as well as those of six other remaining DesireWorkers, were overtaken by Kant to be used against his enemy, a divine woman clad in gold called Rosca, who threatened to end the cruel reality he has made. Even their combined might was easily bested by that of the goddess, who then split the timeline into multiple alternate timelines, one for each of the six DesireWorkers, and cast them out of the Vacuum. Upon being thrown out, all lost their memories up until the moment they woke up.

The first thing Erwin saw was a crumbling world, in need of salvation. A new driving force took root in his heart, the wish to use his powers as a SoulForcer, and soon SoulWorker of Delight, to protect mankind. Though decorated with victory and stained with failure all the same, he remains the greatest asset in Stair Second for the defense of humanity.

This mod features:

-four skins: SoulWorker (default), Advancement, DesireWorker and SoulJustice
-unique textures
-three loading screens
-sound effects and voice lines from the SoulWorker game
-a stance changing mechanic, between long range and close range fighting
-a stacking mechanic which increases his damage dealt when he hits an enemy with certain powers
-alternate voice and effects packs to better fit the DesireWorker skin

In order to switch between the default and the DesireWorker effects pack, all you have to do is overwrite the .xmlb files in effects/char/erwin_arclight, inside your game directory, with the .xmlb files in effects/default or desire/char/erwin_arclight inside the mod directory. Same deal with the voice packs - replace erwin_v.zss and erwin_m.zsm in sounds/eng/e/r accordingly.

WARNING: This mod clashes with Iammingy's She-Hulk mod. If you have that mod, then before installing this one, make sure she's not in your roster, and backup ui/models/mannequin/15901.igb, as well as textures/loading/15901.igb, 15902.igb and 15903.igb. Failing or neglecting to do so will result in issues.

Small update for the Erwin Arclight mod which fixes the audio issue when he charges his "Shot Through the Heart" power. I decided the fixed version sounds better just off the fact it's not quite as ear-piercing. https://www.mediafire.com/file/782dtkm4o7uw49b/Erwin_Arclight_V1.0.5.rar/file

Stay tuned. The showcase + gameplay video is coming very soon, and it will also include the showcase of the DesireWorker effects and voice pack.

Lily Bloomerchen has received a new update. Welcome, one and all, version 1.4. What you can expect from this version:

-fully implemented Ceamonks890's modifications to the mod files which make it so that it uses the new animation mixing method discovered by nikita484 instead of the old method with the fightstyle files
-removed actors/fightstyle_lily.igb and data/fightstyles/fightstyle_lily.xmlb
-heavily modified the second power, Mad Lunge, as such:
-Lily's basic attacks now occasionally restore Energy. Amount restored scales with the rank of the first power, Cruel Slash

Link to the new update: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wnstbg13zx6mo62/Lily_Bloomerchen_V1.4.rar/file

If you've downloaded and used previous versions of this mod, I strongly encourage you to perform a full reinstallation, so as to avoid any issues. Pay particular attention to the herostat file's text, the talents file and the actors files.

My aim with this update was not only to conform to the optimizations of the new animation mixing method, but also to make Lily's gap closer actually not annoying and slow to use. I also wanted to do something so that she isn't entirely reliant on somebody to regenerate her energy, while not doing too much. I think I managed to do that fairly well. Hope this update is to your satisfaction for now. I will update her again at a later time, with a new skin and a redo of all current skins.

Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

Put together a new update for Iris Yuma as well. Welcome V1.2, folks. Here's what you can expect from this update:

-Iris' first power, Strike The Despicable, has been modified to include a third strike at the end. After the initial two swings, she also blasts the enemy she's targeting (or forward), with massive knockback.
-The sixth power, Break Out, had its energy cost halved.

It's time for my 10th SoulWorker mod. On your knees, for you now stand in the presence of queen Luna Nox!

BIOGRAPHY

Referred to by the Starry Forest League as code name Queen, Luna Nox is a former princess of the Nihil Kingdom, a society of alien, humanoid life forms known as Vessi, wielding the power of Desire which comes from the concept of honor. They appeared on Stair Second, the planet Earth of an alternate universe, shortly after it was faced with the threat of the Vacuum. Luna is presently considered one of the most dangerous enemies of humanity, and as befits such a powerful foe, hers is an anything but ordinary past.

From an early age, Luna was raised in isolation, alongside her older sister Sola Nox, inside the royal castle. As pivotal members of a society which values honor and loyalty above all else, and whose people are fully expected to dedicate their lives to the job they are born into, the bulk of the young girls' time was spent on all manner of activities which served the purpose of molding them into worthy heirs to the throne of the Nihil Kingdom.

As their father and king at the time, Xe Nox, found himself unable to look after his daughters himself, due to the endless work concerning the management of law and order in the kingdom, he assigned each of them an elite guard, who would also act as caretakers in his absence. It was since that day that the guard assigned to Luna, named Edgar, began to conduct himself differently.

With each passing day, he became more and more invested in the person he was tasked to accompany. What should have been part of his profession transformed into a passion, and eventually, Edgar would go to such lengths as ordering the delivery of candy and toys to Luna's residence, and even dressing up as a clown for her entertainment. His actions received stern scrutiny from his superiors and peers, until finally, he was exiled from the Nihil Kingdom for misconduct.

As time passed and both Luna and Sola completed their education as princesses, they became well-versed in numerous skills relevant to the role which they would be intended to play, not the least of which being politics, etiquette and even combat. Within this period of time, Xe Nox would also sense his own weakness growing with age. It was thus that, in the blink of an eye, one of the two royal sisters was soon to be decided upon as queen after him, and that the kingdom would begin its suffering from internal conflict.

During the political campaign that followed shortly after, it became clear that Luna and Sola, though taught the same notions over the course of their rigorous training, had completely different designs for the future of the Nihil Kingdom. While the former insisted that protecting their present home would suffice, the latter preached of growth through expansionist conquest. Now witness to this clash between the ideals of two powerful and influential figures who stood on equal footing, the populace could only find itself split in two sides: the one which supported Luna, and the one which supported Sola.

An utter stalemate persisted between these newly created, yet evenly matched campaigns, leaving the question of who would succeed Xe on the throne unanswered for the longest time, until one fateful day, when the Vacuum brought its plight upon the country. This catastrophe would result in the disappearance of Luna Nox and a large portion of her supporters, leaving the side of Sola Nox free to assert dominance over the now pitiful resistance which remained behind.

In the meantime, Luna and her forces found themselves stranded on another world, predominantly inhabited by humans, called Stair Second, which had also been plagued by the Vacuum, with no apparent way of return. To make matters worse, their presence in this world was soon discovered by the infamous NED company, a large human corporation with a monopoly on the weapons industry. Upon making contact, the organization quickly resolved to apprehend the Vessi as test subjects. Despite the best efforts of Luna's troops, they could not fend off the humans' attack, and thus, she was captured, setting the prologue to an immeasurably miserable fate.

For years from that moment on, within the confines of a secret underground laboratory, Luna Nox would be subjected to inhumane experiments, with the purpose of researching SoulJunk, a race of monster-like creatures which hails from the Vacuum itself, in hopes of better combatting it. As a result of the procedures which she suffered, her sanity was merely the first part of her to disappear. Her body was that of a Vessi no more, for she transformed into a SoulJunk with the power to manipulate other such creatures to do her bidding, as well as create new ones.

Eventually, the scientists themselves met the same fate as Luna, after being recruited into the cult of the Vacuum Fanatics by their very own subjects, and against all odds, they not only freed her, but began to worship her as a goddess and constructed an underground religious structure in her honor. It was there that she dwelled for more long years, surrounded and pampered by undead servants, until one day, when yet another twist of fate would stare her in the face - a reunion with the long time Nihil Kingdom exile and her former royal guard, Edgar.

In present day, the two have only one aspiration - surviving in a world where everyone else considers them a threat.

This mod features:

-one skin: Classic
-5 powers, 2 buffs, 2 Xtremes (can use one or the other depending on whether or not a certain power was used recently)
-SFX and voiceovers from SoulWorker

WARNING: This mod clashes with Storm (vanilla character). Before installing it, make sure you backup ui/models/mannequin/0401.igb, as well as textures/loading/0401.igb and 0402.igb. Failing or neglecting to do so will result in issues.

A new update for Luna Nox, V1.1, is now out. This one features a great number of adjustments, in order to hopefully fix some of her gameplay-related issues while not making her absurdly strong:

-Wave of Incineration and Selfless Servitude are now both available at level 1
-Wave of Incineration can now be charged for up to 1.1 seconds, down from 1.25, and the damage scales up to 2.5 times its original value, down from triple.
-Garden of Desire Amber has been renamed to Garden of Amber, now freezes enemies for 3.5 seconds, up from 3.
-Death From Above now slows enemies by 25%, down from 30%, for 10 seconds, up from 5.
-Save the Queen now grants the damage reduction buff to all allies, instead of just Luna, and has a duration of 20-180 seconds, depending on power rank, up from a constant 15 seconds.
-Martyr's stance now lasts shorter. Upon hitting enemies, Luna also gains a short invincibility buff alongside her energy regeneration. The frame of time in which her Xtreme, Cavalry of the North, becomes Queen of the North, is now the same as the frame of time within which she is invincible, down from 5 seconds. Invincibility buff lasts from 2 to 4 seconds, depending on power rank.
-Selfless Servitude has been modified to increase the extra damage dealt by Wave of Incineration to slowed enemies based on power rank (in other words, you must upgrade Selfless Servitude to increase it)
-Increased the Energy costs slightly of the following powers: Death From Above, Garden of Amber, Selfless Servitude
-Increased the Energy cost significantly of Wave of Incineration
-The flash effect of Queen of the North should now display at the right time, and linger for the right duration. Also removed the mechanic which would execute non-bosses, and instead increased the overall damage of the power.
-Made some adjustments to some effects of the following powers: Selfless Servitude, Save the Queen, Cavalry of the North, Martyr
-Somewhat fixed the descending totems effect which can be seen during Death From Above and Garden of Amber, though not yet perfect. I don't think I will revisit it, however.
-Changed the animation Luna performs when leaving the character selection screen

If you downloaded V1.0 of my Luna Nox mod, I strongly recommend a full reinstallation, once you switch to V1.1. Just overwrite all the files from V1.0 with all the files from V1.1 in your game directory. Keep in mind, this also includes the herostat entry, make sure you replace that as well with the one from V1.1.

That's about it for now. Expect a mod showcase + gameplay video very soon. Until then, take care. Corvette, taking off.

The cavalry has arrived. Fear no more, for the hero of Nihil Kingdom, Acculus, stands stalwartly in your defense!

BIOGRAPHY

Renowned for his incredible might as well as compassion, Acculus was an elite guard serving under king Xe Nox, fighting for the prosperity of Nihil Kingdom, a society of alien creatures known as Vessi whose power is derived from the concept of honor.

One day, the king sensed with age that the time had come for a successor to the throne. It was thus that competition was sparked between his two daughters: Sola Nox and Luna Nox. Given the clash in ideals between the two, the nation's people soon experienced a divide over which of the potential heirs had the correct vision for the future of the kingdom: the former, with dreams of expansionism through conquest, or the latter, focused only on national defense. Forced to choose a side, Acculus picked that of Luna Nox, sharing her views.

Since then, although neither of the two princesses sought to vanquish the other and the conflict never escalated into civil war, tensions were high between Vessi of differing allegiances. This situation would come to an end when an event marked by the sudden and destructive appearance of the Vacuum transpired, resulting in the disappearance of the majority of Luna Nox's loyalists. In the aftermath, those who remained behind were forced to conform with the leadership of Sola Nox, now queen of Nihil Kingdom.

Stranded by the Vacuum on another planet, known as Stair Second, Luna and her people attempted to find a way back home, before encountering a malicious organization, operating in the weapons industry as a monopoly, known as the NED Company, intent on capturing the princess. Though Acculus and his comrades fought valiantly in defense of their queen, their failure doomed her to capture and life as a test subject for horrific experiments.

Eventually, Acculus led his troops to finding their lost leader in a laboratory in Dipluce Horizon, only to discover that she has transformed into a SoulJunk, acquiring the ability to endlessly produce such creatures and manipulate them as she sees fit. Appalled by what the humans have done, yet relieved that Luna Nox lives freely, they abandoned any hope of returning to Nihil Kingdom, now likely long conquered by Sola Nox, and formed a perimeter around the ruined structure in which she dwelled in order to protect her from any further harm.

One day, a small army dispatched by the Starry Forest League, a worldwide organization dedicated to protecting mankind from the Vacuum and restoring the former world order, enters Dipluce Horizon to investigate the existence of codename Queen, a creature believed to mass-produce SoulJunk. Realizing that the tragedy of the past could repeat itself, Acculus ordered his warriors to prepare for combat. After a valiant struggle, a SoulWorker among the ranks of the invading humans single-handedly slaughtered the entire Vessi force.

Yet that effort was meaningless. Commanding SoulJunk to consume the destroyed bodies of her fallen warriors, Acculus included, Luna Nox raised them from the dead so that they may serve her for all time, free from the cycle of life and death and bound by undeath. Though the souls that once represented her army have departed from this realm, their strength continues to exist, wielded as a powerful weapon by the traumatized princess, whose only goal now is isolation.

This mod also features an alternate voice and effects pack to better fit the Darkblue skin. In order to swap between the default and SoulJunk packs, simply copy and paste the .xmlb files in effects/char/acculus from the mod directory into your game directory at the same location, then do the same for the .zsm and .zss files in sounds/eng/a/c.

WARNING: Acculus clashes with the following mods: Anole by Dihan and Fire by Erik Lehnsherr. If you have those mods installed, then before installing the Acculus mod, please backup ui/models/mannequin/24001.igb and textures/loading/24001.igb, and remove those two from your roster. Failing or neglecting to do this will result in issues.

Hey folks. Coming at you with a batch of updates for a bunch of characters from this catalog. Let's jump right in.

Acculus

https://www.mediafire.com/file/k9ov8mazt2ypmet/Acculus_V1.0.5.rar/file

-nerfed the heal applied by his fourth power, Honor. It is now a constant 0.06% HP per second instead of scaling with power rank.
-nerfed his first power in the sword stance, Justice be my Sword. Now it deals 50% increased damage to stunned enemies instead of being guaranteed to critically strike.

Fuu Chan

https://www.mediafire.com/file/sbkbcmub1lenqau/Fuu_Chan_V1.1.rar/file

-fixed an issue with his second power, Ambush, which caused each individual attack to cost Energy instead of just the first one
-fixed an issue which caused his skin passives to clash with those of Lerfenne

Haru Estia

https://www.mediafire.com/file/bjpovx5bx01k1mc/Haru_Estia_V1.5.5.rar/file

-mostly an optimization update which causes the mod to use the animation mixing method instead of the fightstyle method for Haru Estia's animations
-skin numbers changed from 0506, 0507, 0508 and 0509 to 0511, 0512, 0513 and 0514 to avoid clashes with Thing skins, recommend reinstalling the entire mod to make sure nothing goes awry

Iris Yuma

https://www.mediafire.com/file/ffxqz875ppoyee5/Iris_Yuma_V1.3.rar/file

-her first power, Strike the Despicable, can now be held to launch an additional projectile attack in front of her after the two initial swings of the Hammer Stol, dealing damage and massive knockback
-nerfed the Primal Rage passive on her DesireWorker skin
-significantly nerfed the Break Out attack speed buff and increased the energy cost slightly

Lerfenne (formerly Lupan)

https://www.mediafire.com/file/fjg5g2ec07bvn4m/Lerfenne_V1.1.rar/file

-obviously changed the name of the character from Lupan to Lerfenne
-renamed Obsess to Impress to Obsession
-renamed Love to At Any Cost
-fixed an issue with her third power, Break Up, which caused her energy regeneration to not work

Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

Got another update coming your way, this time for my mod of Tenebris, V1.1. There is only one change here, but arguably a significant one: I have completely redone his DesireWorker skin in such a way that the coat no longer follows his legs when he runs, but instead is permanently dragged behind him. No clipping with the legs as he runs from what I've tested.

The time has come for humans to know the meaning of true strength. Let Flemma, the newest SoulWorker mod, become your teacher!

BIOGRAPHY

Hailing from Stair Oroboroi, the planet inhabited by the alien warmongering race known as Vessi, Flemma is the leader of the Rapid Flame faction. He is one of the most powerful of his kind and among the most dangerous enemies mankind has ever known.

As creatures of Desire energy constitution, brought into being by Kent, the god of Desire and creator of the Vacuum, the Vessi's existence is defined by a lifelong dedication to a particular virtue, with complete disregard to all that is irrelevant to it and utter hatred towards that which the virtue opposes. The virtue of strength is one idolized and worshipped by the faction of Vessi known as the Rapid Flame.

Intelligence, power, speed, cunning, tenacity, endurance, strategy, experience, charisma - all forms of one's dominance over another are acknowledged as strength, and when proven superior in combat, are respected and bowed down to. Weakness is perceived as nothing less than evil itself and purged accordingly by those who live by the Rapid Flame's survival of the fittest philosophy. And amidst all the ruthless, competition-seeking warriors of this group stands one undisputed champion, a perfect specimen of nigh-divine strength that none would even dream of contesting and whose every word is law - Flemma.

Begrudgingly referred to as the King of Barbarians by humanity, with which the Rapid Flame has been at war for a long time, Flemma earned a reputation of infamy through his crushing victories against them, not the least of which is the annihilation of 15 of the Starry Forest League's at the time most powerful SoulWorkers, individuals perceived by the world as saviors.

But the pedestal, though accomodating, is home to none, not even to one such as him. One day, Kent approached the Rapid Flame, intent on taking the role of leader from Flemma. Immediately sensing the difference in strength between him and his creator, but refusing to accept him as someone to follow, before a duel for leadership could be held, he gave his most trusted confidants his horn, representing a significant portion of his power, then instructed them to defect from the faction in the hopes of one day dethroning Kent.

Following that desperate plan, as well as a landslide defeat at the hands of he who gave him and his people life, Flemma shrunk from his former glory to the status of a mere powerful asset of war, fighting battles in Kent's name under the pretense of loyalty and respect, all the while seeking any opportunity to overthrow him.

This is one of the two upcoming masterpiece mods which you might know I have been teasing for a while if you've been on Discord, the other one being my Raiden Shogun mod. It's hard to say, whether or not these two will truly end up being my best work to date, but they're definitely the ones that took the most effort so far. I hope you enjoy this mod.

Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

Made a small update to my Flemma mod. For the most part, I just trimmed down his effects to reduce the potential of effects related issues happening in-game. If you would like to access his full, less stable version, V1.0 can be considered that.

A monster born from selfless guilt and selfish ambition, the nightmarish Ferdelance makes the world of Marvel Ultimate Alliance its hunting ground!

BIOGRAPHY

When the Vacuum hit Stair Oroboroi, a distant planet home to the aliens known as Vessi, its inhabitants were warped to Stair Second, the planet Earth of an alternate universe. This forceful displacement sparked a decade-old, violent conflict with mankind, whom they blamed for their predicament, at the time unaware of the true mastermind behind these events.

Yet not all of their factions walked the path of war. In the ranks of the eastern Cherry Blossom Vessi, fairy-like and drawing power from happiness, there was a clash of equally matched ideals: one dictating that humans are exploitable livestock, and an ideal by which coexistence with humans is possible  This divide led to the Cherry Blossom splitting into two camps, which in time have come to see each other as enemies: the Good Kid Vessi, who allied themselves with humanity, and the Bad Kid Vessi, who have vowed to stamp out these former brethren.

Lilah was a soldier in the ranks of the Good Kid Vessi, who one day stumbled upon a deployment of human soldiers, searching a snow and cold-ridden field. That Vessi are humanoid became common knowledge with time, and so, upon spotting such a strange-looking woman, their leader, Thomas, prepared to fire upon Lilah with his handgun, to no avail. His lengthy exposure to the cold weather had worn him down, reducing his movement to a mere crawl, and denying him the ability to pull the trigger. Soon, he succumbed and fell unconscious.

When he woke up, Thomas found himself in a farm-based settlement along with his subordinates. It soon became clear that they were being fed and nursed back to health by the very same Vessi they previously ran into. Thanks to this act of kindness, Lilah opened the Good Kid faction's future up to the possibility of an alliance with mankind's most promiment military force, the Starry Forest League, in which Thomas was a major.

Gradually, the war effort against the Bad Kid yielded better results, now aided by these new bedfellows. Furthermore, beyond just the salvation of her people, Lilah found herself growing closer to Thomas, until the two formed perhaps the world's first love between human and Vessi.

In time, the Starry Forest League would send a group of extremely powerful SoulWorkers to provide further aid in winning the conflict against the Bad Kid Vessi, resulting in the successful capture of their leader, as well as takeover of previously contested territory, crucial to the survival of any Cherry Blossom Vessi. A participant in the final fights was the Savior, a guardian of the Good Kid faction of yet unknown origin, who nonetheless ultimately went rogue and struck Lilah before fleeing. Vowing to avenge this attack, Thomas gathered a hunting party to catch and destroy the creature himself.

But only too late, after wounds too deep were inflicted, was the shocking revelation made that the Savior was Thomas' mother. She had been subjected to horrifying experiments by an unknown party while under the care of the Good Kid Vessi, under the guise of healing injuries suffered prior to being rescued. Realizing the horror of what he had done, the major began to hate the Cherry Blossom faction as a whole and separated himself from Lilah.

The truth was no less unforeseen or tragic to her than to anyone else. Feelings of confusion, sadness and guilt took root in Lilah's heart. Though not to blame, she was heartbroken by her lover's distance and the suffering he became victim to right under her nose. Her desperation reached a tipping point when, one day, a SFL scientist called Vista approached her with an offer to resurrect his mother.

She showed Lilah a strange chemical and a piece of living tissue that came from the body of Thomas' mother, claiming that combining the two would revive her. Though clearly suspicious, she saw no other way out of her situation. There was no other way to heal her lover's broken soul, or resolve her self-blame, but to make a gamble and accept Vista's proposition.

As soon as the chemical touched the living tissue, it instantly mutated into a beast beyond description, which bonded with Lilah and subjected her body to its will. Unable to control it, she languished as it began to indiscriminately attack and consume any living creature it saw as its prey and corrupt the surrounding area. With every moment, her will was slowly being overwritten by the monster's primal instincts, its rage becoming her own.

Perceived as beyond saving, and with the perils of an eventually corrupted, uninhabitable environment to consider, Lilah died at the hands of the SoulWorkers who had previously helped her people. Her last moments were spent unable to see, profusely apologizing to Thomas for everything before fading away.

This has been a long time coming. One year and half, to be specific. Had to learn some additional modding skills to make this one, such as custom animations and how fxlevels work. But in the end, I think I made something that'll stick with me for a long time.

Until next time, have a good one. Corvette, taking off.

An update for my latest mod, Ferdelance, version 1.1, is out!

Update contents:

-increased the gain of crit chance per P1 stack significantly, and doubled said gain while in rage mode
-fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when taking Ferdelance in certain stages, such as the Lizard simulator mission map
-removed the part of Frenzy's description saying it generates momentum (it never did, nor is it actually possible to make a power generate momentum, but I only learned this later)
-adjusted the playspeed of Martyr of the East in an attempt to time the explosion sound effect properly
-when using Monster's Thorns, if any power button is held during the radial tendril strike, Ferdelance will also perform Unleashed Predator's lunge

The mod showcase + gameplay video for my Ferdelance mod is out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peHzcVHjLNU&ab_channel=corvetterules

In addition, I have made a minor update to her, which fixes the effect and sound desync with her Xtreme. Here's the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/x6u45u9xql4ashp/xtreme_desync_fix_Ferdelance.rar/file

In order to install the fix, simply drag and drop ps_ferdelance.engb to data/powerstyles and xtr_ferdelance.xmlb to effects/char/ferdelance. Overwrite when it asks you to.
