Well, I dunno. Anything, which would remind us of a costume/armor made out of metal
You could also do a symbiote version of the classic 2099 costume.
Edit: There seems to be some sort of weird patch of different black on the butt, crotch, and a couple of bands on the legs for the Alex Ross suit.

So, I booted up the Symbiote for Amazing skin, and it looks pretty good. The thing is though, the black is TOO black. It doesn't reflect any light, which makes it look kind of, blah. A really really dark grey, or some sort of reflection dynamic might do it some good.

Huge improvement, especially on the head. The body still seems a little, "void-esque". You're on the right track though.

P.S. you don't have to go to that level you can use the figurines in the bonus gallery they use the same textures as the characters in the game
