In this thread you will find downloads for every skeleton and skin in XML1 PS2, XML2 PS2, and MUA1 PS2. All these skins and skeletons work in both XML2 PC and MUA1 PC. The purpose of these is to play, reskin and mod with them.
Inside you’ll find every skin and every skeleton for every NPC and playable in XML1, 2, and MUA1.
I don’t have time to write up what number goes with what skin, so I’ve included in each download the herostat and npcstat entries so you can look up the skeleton and skin number yourself.

XML2 PS2 Skeletons and Skins

Notes: Now if you are wondering why I’m including a download for the XML2 PS2 skins and skeletons when the game already has them the reason is 1) PS2 skins are easier to reskin, you just need two offsets. 2) PS2 skins are higher quality. 3) MUA1 modders and skinners can use the skins in MUA1 for mods or to reskin and the skeletons can be used for conversions or for new mods.
MUA1 PS2 Skeletons and Skins

UPDATES: The download says that the 0904.IGB, Spider-Man Stark Armor skin was corrupted. Here is a new uncorrupted Stark Armor skin http://www.mediafire.com/?ikad64aszy7k63p.
The PS2 used different skin segment names for Deadpool's guns and swords. Thankfully Cates has fixed it. So for them to show up properly in XML2 and MUA download and use this instead https://www.sendspace.com/file/biaey4

THANK YOU! this is really useful. like really useful.
Wow!!!
Thank you so much!
This will be of much aid to my skinning projects.
All hail to nodoubt_jr :bowdown1:
Im just glad to help in anyway and cant wait to see what skins we get from these from both of you :)
1501 is missing. which is unfortunate...
What is 1501? From MUA right? It may not be in the PS2 version of the game, for example theres no PS2 Quicksilver, just the XML2 PC version
This will be very useful for all the skinners ^^ Thanks nodoubt :)
never mind about 1501. i figured it out.
Thanks Nodoubt. This is a good idea.
No problem :)
i dont understand this ps2 skeleton and skin thing, what does it do?
ps2 skins are slightly different than pc skins in a few ways, but the main ones are that they work in both games and you only need a few offsets for them.
how do u use this? imean like from mua1 ps2 is dis going to do something?.
the ps2 skins are mainly for skinners.

One question--I didn't replace Deadpool's skins, because I seem to remember there being some kind of fix that was used to hide his weapons or something with some skins the community had done. Maybe that was a long time ago. Do the PS2 deadpool ones work by default?
Quote from: Cates on July 28, 2010, 02:02PM
OK, so the only deadpool skins that work "as is" from the packs is his AoA skin from the XML2 pack. The others have skin segment issues.
EDIT: I can fix this, thanks to a quick search of the forums. I'll update the MUA PS2 Deadpool skins and upload them ASAP.

Here are Deadpool's MUA skins in shiny PS2 format, edited to work properly in MUA PC. Man, they look good.

I threw in his AoA skin from XML2, just for the sake of completeness.
All props to nodoubt_jr (and matt710 as credited in the first post) for the skins from the pack, I only hexed the skin segments.
So basically there were skin segment issues for both MUA and XML2 but thankfully Cates fixed it :)

is thetre any way to use menu anims & power anims to work togetther because im stumped
do u have the link to make the characters look better without the black line around them in xml2
Is there an equivalent for MUA2 skins? Lets say I'd like skins for A-Bomb, Molten Man, Wizard and Electro. Just the bare basics so I can edit them however I want.
I've ripped the PS2 version of MUA, so I've got access to HUDs, effects, and boltons (they are all compatible). I can upload them, if they're of any use to anyone.
:)
