I was just on Hero Hq and saw a thread with News Lad saying he is leaving. He also talks about a new X-Men game. Here is the link.

Actually I didn't. Sounds interesting though.
Well, it's been five years, hope this means we're finally getting a new X-Men game! Maybe something they're waiting till the E3 to announce it officially?
Hopefully its X-Men Legends 3
And hopefully Vicarious Visions isn't doing it.

I actually liked MUA2 Xbox 360, so I wouldn't mind them making the game, but we need more powers, costumes, and characters. No roster under 30 characters.
Normal features of XML2 = +1
Expanded character customization = +2
Bigger roster = +3
More Acts = +4
No less content = +5
PC version = +6
Moddable version (PC) = +10

I agree with you. If they would make the next game like this, but with more powers, costumes and characters (which are not the same as before, because new characters would make everyone happy). Oh, it will be XMLIII, than I would be happy for a playable Havok :D
I will freaking cry if the next xmen game doesnt get released for PC! Cos i love mods and the fact that we made xml2 survive for 5 years is a freaking good sign! hopefully, finances will be worked through for xml3 (if ever)!
If it is moddable, hopefully no hardcoded char limit ;)
I wish for an XML game. Maybe they should use some high advanced cel-shaded graphics. I mean, MUA2 was good and all, but with that, it could look great for "graphics-lovers" and it would still have the comic feeling, like in the first two games. But what's most important is: lots of great X-Men characters (maybe "bad" mutants too), atleast 4 skins for everyone, more powers for everyone (like in MUA or XML2), longer story, unique extreme for everyone or more, unique fusions. Oh, and no DLCs. We don't need anything, like with MUA2. They should make the game the best at the start, not making it better with DLCs.
I guess everyone has seen the early screenshots of XML1 without cel shading and almost 3rd person camera view?
I wonder how the camera will work if its applied to the next XML game
I'm hoping for an X-Men game with RPG elements but dynamic level designs (like MUA2) and a better camera where you could see your character in action from behind view closer than the previous games
