Known Issue & compatibilty :
You can install this at any time during your playthrough, for MUA 2006 only, it won't affect the gameplay, characters at all.
Don't ALT+Tab though, that might cause the game to crash and waste fullscreen effect (if enabled from video settings, generally MUA don't like when we ALT-Tab), if you encounter this issue, do alt+ctrl+L and force close MUA.
UI RE Custom HUD by UMM - Issue related to the alternate edited png in texs folder :
Hud with thinner healthbar, but with issues, no more background for interaction dialog, which make hard to see what you can pick and no more layer below the hero healthbar (no big deal imo). It's because I removed the shadow part in the png file to make thinner healthbar.
Nice job, the Next-Gen interface is much better when compared to the old one.
2 things though: I think it would look even beter if you managed to add the font from MUA Remastered as well... and I recommend using Fraps for taking screenshots, as the game's default screenshot feature messes up a few parts.

Dude, this change is fantastic! The interface of the menu of play / options slightly hinders the presentation video. Is there any way to keep the old interface just in this start screen?

I tried, but did not found any solution unfortunately, the file changing the interface menu of play seems to be somehow linked with the start screen :(
So putting back the old interface menu also change the start screen :(
One solution could be changing the texture of the igb, but I can't found the offset.
The file is in ui\models/m_common_frame.igb
Update to this post, I found a dirty workaround to get a clean start screen :
remove m_main_left_frame.igb and m_common_frame.igb in ui/models folders, but the background will be completely transparent. this trick works fine with the original interface though.

I tweaked a the hud to be similar to Remastered, there is again issues, but playable.
If you want to remove hud of npc without dialog, remove their hud file.
What is changed :
Hud with thinners health bar with transparency, deleted useless hud stuff in health bar, but with issues, no more background for interaction dialog, which make hard to see what you can pick and no more layer below the hero healthbar, also no more timer, credit icon because I'm too lazy to add them lol

Not impossible i already replace the dialog with ones from XML and MUA PS2 but with MUA2 the models are weard xD.

Nope in xml2 but that is a good idea tho mite have a look at it.
But i did get XML2 main menu to work in mua a bit.
I've just added a very small update, just added the files for the Trivia menu from Remastered, rendered transparent the horrible left panel from main menu and some hud files. The link is updated in the main post.
I also found out that font can be modified with the file with font in the tex folder lol(FontTexture0 stuff), so I tried to backport font of Remastered, but can't found the right texture of Remastered font :(
Nonetheless I think any font with right scalability should work.
Very small update to the contour change of portrait, I added the same contour for skills for controller user that I forgot to change.

UltraMegaMagnus, your changes are impressive. I can now use the MUA graphics features at most thanks to you. Thank you! I want to give you feedback. In the disc missions I noticed that some information icons are missing, but I believe they are needed for the player. In this video did you can see. At 9:18 minutes I start a disk mission. On the lower right side there are time markers, credit coins and death credit, but their respective icons are not present. Is it possible to add the remaster version icons?

I'm facing another problem, this one a little more serious. I'm playing to finish, however I can not break through the Shiar stage. After defeating Gladiator, when entering the door that gives access to the exterior of the spaceship, the game crashes.

It closes. Did you have this problem? I thought it was some character that was causing this but I have already used all the characters I have in my current set, and even played using only 1 character, but the problem persists. So I'm asking, because I have now only left this modification to investigate. Overall everything went well, now I need only uncover this problem.

For the Hud Tweaks, MUAremastered has a different file for the hud not compatible with MUA2006, the closest thing to do is modifying the image file in "texs" folder to mimic it, I tried to make the health/mana bar round but I don't think it's possible without altering the ennemy healthbar too.
EDIT : Possible easy cause, If you removed manually ui\models\m_common_frame.igb & possibly m_main_left_frame.igb & maybe ui/menus/mlm_legal, put it back, the game maybe wants to load this and can't found it. If this was the cause, I may have easy fix, adding a igb files with transparent texture instead of removing files
For the crash, I don't think the interface can causes this crash, never faced crash yet with it, but I'm still in the beginning of the game lol, to be sure, try the original file :

BACKUP all of your Ui folder, and put this, lemme know if there is still a crash after that, to be sure if the interface change causes this bug.

I've just tested this level, if this where you get to the World Devourer Area with Galactus, no crash, if this is not the interface change, it might be something loading in this area causing the crash, maybe Galactus, Silver Surfer model or some skrull. If you still have the crash, try to put back original model.

Strange ... the modification is not happening yet. The last time I used your modification was when I still had not installed the 33 roster hanck. Everything worked perfect. Transparent dialog boxes, you had managed to remove that grid at the back of the pause screen, everything worked fine. The only modification I could get was the huds. Can the 33 roster hanck be incompatible with its modification?

I'll upload my entiere ui folder for 33 rosters ASAP. The interface change should work, I've removed all conflicting files in an update from the 29/05/2018. (former versions are incompatible with 33 Roster Hack)
EDIT : here my ui folder that I'm using with 33 Roster hack, should work, for fresh install, take your mannequin folder elsewhere, remove your entiere ui folder, put the following file and put back your mannequin folder :

updated the file, I forgot to add file from Remaster in previous version (correct placement for Comic simulator mission, character name and pause menu) and I updated the PNG portrait located in texs folder with a custom one aiming at making it consistent with the overall theming of Remastered.
I did not removed any part of the PNG file this time, because otherwise you get an ugly shadow layer.
Compatible for MUA 2006 only, should not have compatibility issue with any pack.

anybody have a problem with the passives at the bottom of the Character Selects\detail\stats page? mine is just showing up as the script callout?

I added the widescreen intro videos from the Remaster Edition. Fmod and Zoe mode are not included, because they were not part of the original release. Beenox and Sofdec are removed, because they're not widescreen. There are still enough intro videos for the major companies working on the game (Raven, Activision, Vicarious Vision, Marvel).

Of course. This only affects the UI (which the roster hacks don't touch). So download away :)

Another small update, because I made a mistake with the big font (non-title font). Copyright and other symbols should work correctly now.
Notes: The blue SHIELD logo was replaced by "...". The logo's occurrences in objectives has been checked and it works (as it is in the RE). There might be non-objective occurrences, but we aren't aware of any. Similarly, the special "X" and "!" symbols were replaced with special letters used for translations. We aren't aware of any occurrences of these either.
