According to a newstory out of NY Comic-Con, the team of Zeb Wells and Diogenes Neves are starting a new New Mutants ongoing series starting this summer. I think this is a great idea. New Mutants was one of my favorite series ever. Glad to see its coming back. :cball: :magma: :sunspot: :moonstar: :wbane: :magik:

Wow, there's some pretty intriguing stuff in there, nodoubt_jr. GeNext:United, New Mutants, and Wolverine Noir especially looked good

i guess thats how there new customes will look
Hmmm...kinda a variant of the originals. Cannonball, Mirage, Karma, Magma, Sunspot, Magik, Warlock, Cypher...Wait is that Legion back there?!? He wasn't a New Mutant.
Legion is going to be the first villain of the new comic
NEW MUTANTS #1

They're back together again! Cannonball, Dani Moonstar, Karma, Sunspot, Magma and Magik have been gathered once more, but can they stand against one of the most powerful X-Villains of all time? Legion is back, and the villain that thrust us into the Age of Apocalypse is scarier than ever. But what does he want with the New Mutants? Zeb Wells (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) and Diogenes Neves (X-MEN: WORLDS APART) bring your favorite teen heroes into adulthood. Don't miss it!
40 PGS./Rated T+ ...$3.99
Ah. Thanks for that clarification. So is this going to be the New Mutants in the modern times, or sorta "untold tales" of the New Mutants? Cause that did look like Cypher on that cover there, and he's been long dead. Anybody know?
from what i read online, its going to be in the present (but im still slightly confused). Cypher could be on the cover because its a special variant and it has nothing to do with the story, or maybe they'll bring him back for the first story (both Magik and Legion can time travel, so they could bring him in that way). Also if you notice his outfit and face seem to be all cracked up unlike all the other New Mutants.
From that article: "New Mutants is acting as a direct follow-up to the current X-Men mini-series, X-Infernus."
Darn. Now I wish I was following X-Infernus. Thanks for sharing all of this, nodoubt_jr.
no problem. so far in my opinion X-Infernus has been really good, especially the first two issues, third issue was alright.
I'll probably just buy it when it comes out in TPB.
