Make up X-Men teams and post them here. Here's mine below.
Uncanny X-Men
(http://i53.tinypic.com/28ic0vq.jpg)
Cyclops, Phoenix, Colossus, Rogue, Gambit, Shadowcat, Beast, Lockheed
This team is lead by Cyclops and Phoenix is his second-in-command. This team lives in the X-Mansion which has reopened as a school for mutants. All the members of the team are teachers as well as superheroes. Although this team is supeheroes like the rest of the X-Men, their primarily known to the public as teachers of Xavier's School more than heroes. The AXM protect the New York side of the US.
Sensational X-Men
(http://i52.tinypic.com/qq39cy.png)
Storm, Iceman, Northstar, Dazzler, Nightcrawler, Jubilee, Longshot, Husk
This team is lead by Storm and Nightcrawler is the second-in-command. The UXM live at Graymalkin in San Fransisco and are known to the public as the main X-Men superhero team. In San Fransisco they are accepted and tolerated putting them on levels with other superhero teams like the Avengers and Fantastic Four.
X-Men Legacy
(http://i53.tinypic.com/2e3mv4l.png)
Professor X, Magneto, Havok, Polaris, Omega Sentinel, Namor, Emma Frost, Darwin
This team lives at Utopia which has been moved underseas near Atlantis. Utopia is a sanctuary for all mutants and Atlanteans who need a home. Utopia is governed by Professor X, Magneto, and Namor. A team of X-Men also live at Utopia to help defend it and keep it running. Xavier and Magneto co-lead the X-Men team although often clash with Namor as though he isn't a leader of the X-Men, he is one of the leaders of Utopia. Utopia is the sister-kindgom of Atlantis. Utopia is known to the public but being underwater and not a part of America or any of the 7 continents, the public doesn't know too much about it.
X-Force
(http://i51.tinypic.com/b9dcet.png)
Wolverine, Warpath, Deadpool, Domino, Psylocke, Fantomex, Hepzibah, Archangel
This team is a secret black-ops team run by Wolverine, and the squad's job is to prevent Apocalypse from returning at whatever costs. The X-Men are unaware of this team thanks to Psylocke's telepathy. Although everyone in X-Force has morals (well most of them do) they can't risk Apocalypse endangering the entire world by returning.
New Mutants
(http://i53.tinypic.com/zlu7w2.png)
Magik, Magma, Karma, Moonstar, Cannonball, Sunspot, Cypher, Warlock
This team is lead by Cannonball who's squad is made up of all the classic new mutants. This squad lives at the X-Mansion and they are all teachers just like the AXM but they don't run under Cyclops's leadership. This squad is known to the public but most of the time they aren't on the front like the AXM or UXM. Most of the time they are involved in problems that involve their teammates or allies. Although called the New Mutants, they are all X-Men and this is another X-Men squad.
X-Factor
(http://i51.tinypic.com/2qnqn8h.png)
Madrox, Siryn, M, Wolfsbane, Strong-Guy, Shatterstar, Layla Miller, Rictor
X-Factor continues to do what its been doing for the past few years. It is a mutant detective service designed for mutant and supernatural related incidents. This team is lead by Madrox. Although many of its members are closely affiliated to the current X-Men, X-Factor does not operate as an X-Men team like all the above, but as its own team. So even though its part of the X-Universe it doesn't really interact with them too much (unlike the above teams)
Cool! how to do it?
Well it's very easy. You just type in X-Men teams you'd like to see. I also included the names of the X-book that the team would be in, the function of the team, and microhero images so others could see their costumes.
Oh! Ok, please. make for me ma favorite team from The cartoon film 1992 ! I like it very much! And i so want to see it here.
atgod, please use the modify button at the top of you post instead of triple posting. i'm not reprimanding you cause i'm not a moderator, but i can assure you that a moderator will reprimand you for that. so yeah, just a bit of advice to staying in the forums good graces...
Oh I'm sorry I don't think I was clear. You guys post your own X-Men teams. You write the team name and the people in it. That's all you have to do. If you want you can include pics and descriptions, etc. I did for mine, but only for mine. This thread wasn't for me to make other people's teams, that is your job. You don't need pics or anything, I did that for fun.
but still, what site did you use to find all this cool microhero pics?
I've found several new sites so I'll post them all here. Here is one based off of current X-Men. It's a blog for microheroes.
http://micro-heroescompendium.blogspot.com/2010/08/haydns-gallery.html
Other X-Related mircoheroes from that site/blog are here.

These are my X-Men:
Yes, only one big team. The way I see it when there were 8 million mutants in the world it made sense to have several teams of X-Men cause there's a lot to do. In a world with less than 500 mutants, just one big team of X-Men. It works more as a frat house rather than a team.
They all live together in the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning and are all one way or another teachers to the young students (Young X-Men). The Xavier Institute is located in San Francisco (there are already too many heroes in the east coast).
It's not like all the X-Men go to every mission. They can always split into teams with varying roster depending on what needs to be done.
IMO, this roster includes all the major players in X-Men history. The only notable absence is Jean Grey. That is cause there are already too many telepaths and I really like her as the Phoenix. I mean, if she has such high cosmic duties on which all existance depends, she can leave the mutant work to the rest of the X-Men.
There are team leaders for each mission, but the X-Men overall do not have one single leader. There are 4 individuals who make the decisions together: Prof X, Storm, Cyclops and Emma.
Prof X is actually headmaster to the school and, therefore, doesn't get too involved with the action, only contribution with strategic thinking and leaving the role of high-order-telepath-in-action to Emma. Since Emma generally coordinates the missions using Cerebra, the field leaders are generally Cyke or Storm. Wolverine and Nightcrawler would be the occasional team leaders. When all the X-Men work together Storm and Cyke act as co-field-leaders. Kinda like Cannonball and Moonstar used to do with the New Mutants.
I don't really like the idea of a black ops team for either the X-Men or the Avengers, cause they're heroes for chrissake. They set the standards.
Here's how I envision each member:
Prof X: Yes, I like him in a wheelchair. I think it's part of the conception of the characters. Whenever he walks it seems it's not really Xavier (It's the frail body/powerful mind dichotomy). He is indeed the world's greatest telepath in terms of skill and the second most powerful in terms of raw power (The first one being Nate, Rachel non-existant and Jean in the White Hot Room in my Marvel Universe). He passed on the leadership of the X-Men to the senior members, treating them as equals. Now he is continuing the X-Men legacy, dedicating himself mostly as headmaster and teacher.
Cyclops: Is no longer the blind Xavier following pupil and has grown into an opinionated and confident leader with a mind of his own. Is in a serious relashionship with Emma. I like his dark blue astonishing costume. I don't really like cyke with all that hair gel. I like that all the expression you get from him is a dim red light. It's a great metaphor for one who is a leader and, therefore, rational and calculating.
Storm: Still the alpha-female she has always been. Married to Black Panther, but too independent for the shallow life of a queen. So, she alternates between living with her husband and the X-Mansion. If Green Arrow and Black Canary manage to do it, so can they. I like her black & white costume. not the X-Men forever one, the one she used to wear when she was with the Fantastic Four, with pants, but this microhero was the closest one I could find.
Emma Frost: As always the ice-queen who loves to push other peoples buttons. But completely regenerated and embraced as an X-Woman and fully commited to her role as co-leader of the X-Men and teacher. Among the worlds most powerful telepaths, she's really not far behind Xavier AT ALL and is on lvl with people like Sinister, Moondragon and Exodus. I like the costume with the corset and pants, but that little grey X in the breast area.
Psylocke: She's the psychic swiss army knife. She can use her psychic powers to create katanas, daggers, as telepathy, telekinesis, to increase her physical attributes and also sometimes have precog dreams. Her strength is in variety and not high level of power, unlike Emma and Prof X. She's stoic and taciturn with a warriors spirit. I like her House of M costume but couldn't find it.
Gambit: He would be the black-ops team in one man, being great with infiltration, having his hipnotic charm and being so misterious that people don't generally know what he's up to (though he's actually a lot more trustworthy than he seems). Is in a serious relashionship with Rogue. I like that revamped version of his classic costume he's wore for quite some time, with that very dark shade of pink, grey and black.
Rogue: I liked it better when she had the old Ms. Marvel powers. So, she's the good old flying and punching southern belle with a sassy attitude. She did indeed learn how to control her touch power and doesn't have that no touching drama in her life anymore. She and Gambit do have a physical relashionship. I like her legacy costume.
Shadowcat: I'd make it more evident just how smart this girl is. I'd make her hacker skills become more and more important to the team. I see her as someone who, in given time, will become a world class genious. Is really attached to Lockheed, who is more active among the X-Men than he's ever been. I actually like her X-Men: Evolution costume best, but couldn't find it.
Beast: In feline form, but not as drawn during New-X-Men or Astonishing X-Men. The great genetic genious that (though highly sociable and kind) usually prefers to stay in his lab. Loves literature. The X-Men make use of his great connections with the superhero community (being a former Avenger and Defender). I like his modern costume just as the one in the pic.
Wolverine: Not omnipresent. His only active affiliation is with the X-Men. His main role among the X-Men is the one he had among the New Avengers, being the one that's willing to do what no one else is. Sometimes the other X-Men have to intervene in order to keep his savageness in check. Is also the most loner among the X-Men. I like his Astonishing costume.
Nightcrawler: Light hearted and empathic. He's kinda the counselor to other X-Men in their personal and moral issues. Has indeed become a priest and is the most pacifist of the X-Men. Is also the most skilled pilot for the Blackbird. I like the exact costume of the pic.
Angel: Only Angel, doesn't transform into Archangel. The "transforming with rage" thing has been done to death (Hulk, Dark Phoenix and so on). He's very free-spirited, much like a bird. His greatest asset is being the overseer in action, with his great flying skills and bird-like sight he hardly ever misses anything. I'd also make his healing skills grow to the point he can heal others without transfusion (kinda like Elixir or Leo from Charmed). I like his revamped classic look, blue and white with the golden halo logo.
Iceman: Though still the prankster and comedian of the team, he has become a lot more mature than he's been portrayed. His powers are also highly developed, being able to stay in his ice-form indefinetly and being actually immortal while in it. He is an omega lvl mutant after all, and has grown to become one of the most powerful X-Men and a great asset in battle. I actually like his Ultimate look the best, but couldn't find it.
Colossus: The gentle giant. Another great dichotomy: being so physically intimidating, but actually having the heart and sensibility of an artist. He's quiet and shy, not the brute as portrayed in his lines in MUA and xml2. Is in a serious relashionship with Kitty. I like his modern costume, just as in the pic.
That's it. This is how I like to envision the X-Men. Hope ya'll like it ^^.
seriously, stop spamming this thread

I really like your ideas. My idea takes place in an alternate world where at the end of Second Coming Hope was revealed to be the final piece of Jean (Jean already reabsorbed Maddie and the Phoenix pieces within Rachel, Korvus, and the Cuckoos). Jean confronts Wanda and the 2 women reverse M-Day (but many other things occur as well such as Kitty's regaining control of their powers, Pixie and Magik getting their soul pieces back, Havok, Polaris, Hepzibah, and the Starjammers returning from space, Cable reverting to his infant form without the techo-organic virus, Rachel's spirit being transferred to Jean's womb to be born in this reality as the same Rachel the X-Men know, etc.) So in this world, all mutants have been repowered and the world returns to balance.
As for the black-ops team thing I've always felt Wolverine doesn't have a problem with it and other heroes realize that some things have to be done, which others won't do. I haven't read SA but I always thought they weren't really killers but just did the stuff that the public shouldn't know. A more toned-down version of X-Force as they are Avengers and really don't have killers on their teams.
I like your ideas of having Hope be a missing piece of the Phoenix and having it reassemble completely. However, I wouldn't like for all the mutants to be repowered. I prefer a world where mutation is a rare phenomenon. Otherwise mutation itself loses its importance. The editors of marvel seem to agree with me, otherwise they would have never published House of M :P
Wow that could be like a whole comic series Called like X-Men the Return or something like that lol I love your Ideas Marvelfan!

I don't think it was as much about mutation losing its importance, as it was just wanting to get rid of mutants because there was so many to keep track of. They started with Genosha's destruction, but that wasn't enough so then they had M-Day. And thanks midnightphoenix.
No prob its a really good idea, I know this isnt about X-Men ideas, but I have been working on a series for like 3 years now, Jean is one of the main chars along with Emma Storm and Kitty, but there are more, but any way in my series Jean just lost the Phoenix force, when Phoenix finds out she isnt a real "person" and she pulls the real Jean out from the bay and they become one person but Jean does not except the force and forces it out of herself, killing her first but then phoenix brings her back to life and leaves Earth...
Rather than make a similar thread based off of the Avengers I'll post my Avengers teams right here. Anybody else can too for the Avengers, X-Men, or other super hero teams of the marvel world.
Avengers - Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Phoenix, Scarlet Witch, Vision (Art by David Finch)
The flagship Avengers book and the main team with the big 3, cashcows, new and classic members, etc. This team is led by Captain America and they live in Stark Tower.
New Avengers - Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, She-Hulk, Iron Fist, Hercules, Jessica Jones (Art by Stuart Immonen)
Truly the "New" Avengers, this book can even feel like the New Defenders with the diverse cast, but nevertheless they are Avengers. Led by Luke Cage, the team resides in Avengers Mansion. Dr. Strange also acts as second-in-command, but takes over during missions involving magic.
Avengers Academy - Giant-Man, Wasp, Tigra, Justice, Firestar, Quicksilver, Beast, Wonder Man (Art by Olivier Coipel)
This is an Avengers team which acts as teachers and mentors to superpowered teens. This Avengers team is led by Giant-Man and the Wasp as co-leaders. Rick Jones and Speedball are also members of the teaching faculty, but are not members of this Avengers team.
Secret Avengers - Agent Barnes, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Black Widow, Moon Knight, Songbird, War Machine, Valkyrie (Art by Mike Deodato)
A black-ops team created by Cap and Bucky Barnes, this team does all the secret stuff that the public shouldn't know. This team is co-led by Barnes and Hawkeye. The other Avengers are aware of this team, but do not know their missions and details.
Young Avengers - Patriot, Hawkeye, Wiccan, Speed, Ant-Man, Stature, Hulkling, Vision (Art by Jim Cheung)
The YA continue to operate as their own team, but the Avenger veterans finally recognize them as official Avengers. This team is co-led by Patriot and Hawkeye however Ant-Man mentors the team and often makes decisions as well. He stays with the YA so he can be with his daughter and to keep the team guided.
Basically these teams (or at least Jean and Beast's inclusion) takes place a year or more after my revised Second Coming. Jean and Wanda's actions redeemed Wanda who has returned to the Avengers. All those she killed including Vision and Ant-Man are back and she is reunited with her family (Magneto, Pietro, Lorna, Wiccan, and Speed). A year after this (or more) the X-Men have a major battle with Selene in a limbo-type place where half the team is killed including Cyke, Magneto, Kitty, Nightcrawler, Angel, Psylocke, etc. The X-Men disband because of this leading Jean and Beast to join the Avengers (but of course the X-Men regroup some time after)
sweet team!! Jean YAY!! lol
a great team!!!
please, somebody tell me how can i upload a picture, i make my own x-men team, but i dont know how can i upload..
I remember my one attempt of an X-Men fan-fiction universe. Always wanted to attempt it again or even a whole universe attempt, but never tried it yet.
My X-Men from that were: Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Rogue, Storm, Nightcrawler, Iceman and Wolfsbane. I was planning to add Gambit and Colossus later.
Also in that world the Horseman of Apocalypse were Abyss, Trevor Fitzroy, Bedlam and Sauron.

To upload a picture, first you have to find a site to host your picture (like box.net). Then, copy the link to that picture and use the following code, except you must remove the space in "img ]" so that it is "img]":

This is actually a really good roster. I like how you included all the A-listers plus Wolfsbane who would make a great X-Man.
THank you fox456, you are the first man who answer me... thank you...
So this is my favourite team, (the sizes of the picture are a little wrong)
Deadpool :deadpool:, Gambit :gambit2:, Iceman :iceman:, New-Goblin :xman: , Nightcrawler :nightcrawler2:, Quicksilver :quicks:, Sabretooth :stooth:, and Wolverine :wolverine:..i hope you like it :D
uh, very anti-hero x-men. except for nightcrawler and iceman they're all over the edge. a black ops team by definition cause there's no way of knowing what these guys would do :P. but, no girls at all?
I dont like girl characters in marvel,...only in dc, but its a marvel site....

What mean vain? (im not english) i tell you , i dont "hate" girls: i like rogue, :D , jean grey, songbird, black widow, etc. but i better like the male heroes/villains, (im not gay)...

My BIG favourite team: sry for girls :(
@ AtGod,
Glad to see that you got your team assembled and posted!
Maybe you (or someone else) can help me. I was trying to do make a picture like that myself. I found lots of Micro-characters and downloaded a few. But, when I use the downloaded gif's in my Paint program, the coloring gets all messed up. For example, the shading is gone, green turns to brown, blue becomes black, and so on. Is there another way to work with these Micro-characters?
Simply copy and paste on Paint. That is the easiest method.
LOL, that actually seems to be working! So simple.... Thanks!
Yes! copy and past on paint...
And another question... i posted about 20 posts, but my profile still show i post 5?? why?

It may be because your posting in the I think it's called the off topic section (basically the last section). That section doesn't count posts.
maybe. :D i dont know!

I think I finally figured this out:
Really like your team especially since you included the main X-Men (minus Wolverine who really needs a break) and that you included people such as Dust and Warpath.
How can you put angel behind colossus and dust?
I ended up using the Quick Mask feature on Photoshop -- here's the tutorial I used:
http://graphicmentor.com/tutorials/quickmask/index2.php
Cool team Fox I really like it!
on photoshop.... sh*t i did it on paint (with paint is hard)
I dont like useing paint for overlaping things because it makes for more work :/
I made one team using Paint. Then I made this one which I liked better using Photoshop.
Where does everyone find their Micro-Heroes?

Oh!
Love this Team!!!! Thanks!
Now, my Avengers Team:
Yes, once again, only one big team. No need for several Avenger teams, it's just an excuse to sell more titles. Well, I'd rather have more issues per month of a single title that includes the major players in Avengers history. That's how I like them: The World's Greatest Heroes united against threats none of them could face alone. With that good old Lee/Kirby way of making comics. Unashamed of being a superhero book that's just that. That's why I like the classic Avengers a lot more than I like the New Avengers and all their subsequent splited teams.
Their HQ is the Avengers Mansion at 5th Avenue. Some have their own place, but some live in the mansion full time (Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Falcon and Vision). When Thor is in Midgard he lives there too. Hank and Wasp live in her penthouse but he works nearly every day in his lab at the mansion.
Once again, since they each have their own lives and solo careers as superheroes or otherwise, they don't all always work together. Active roster variates depending on the mission and on who is avaliable at the time.
Captain America and Ironman are the ones that generally decide the path of the team as a whole. The main field leader is Captain America, but several others (Wasp, Ironman, Thor, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel) take leadership in his absence, depending on the mission. If it's in Asgard it would be Thor, if it's against Ultron it would be Ant-Man, if it's stealth it's Black Widow and so on.
How I envision each member:
Captain America: Although he has his own place he's a full time Avenger and takes his role as the leader very seriously. The Avengers are allowed to exist partially cause of him, cause he's the one with a Full Champion License from SHIELD. He's also the PR guy for the team, considering his unstained and inspirational image among the general public, government and superhero community. He's also kinda like a moral compass for the team and trains most of them in self-defense and strategy. I like his modern ultimate costume.
Ironman: The other big reason why they can exist, considering he funds the Avengers and has done so for almost the entire history of the team. He's the swiss army knife of the team, being able to detect the weaknesses of the foes and prepare accordingly. I like his extremis armor.
Thor: The most powerful member or the team, of course. He's emotional and stoic at the same time and I just love his flamboyant speeches before the battles. Several avengers see him as the greatest avenger of all time and it's justified, considering his honorbound determination and restlessness. I like his modern costume.
Ant-Man/Giant-Man: There's a guy who's one of the smartest characters in Marvel. Yet, he's been misused and underrated by most writers. That's why I like how he's been portrayed in the new Avengers cartoon as the most pacifist team member and brainy lab-rat kinda guy. Is married to Wasp. Yeah, I like his original identities and powers, but with the revamped look and increased size-manipulation powers. He's able to go from subatomic sizes to taller than the highest skyscraper in NY.
Wasp: Another underestimated avenger. I mean, she's the most intuitive member of the team, having deduced Ironman's identity before anyone else and having been one of their best leaders. She's also light hearted and has a spunky attitude. I like her modern black and yellow costume.
Ms. Marvel: She's totally a survivor. I mean, she's been through so much and emerged from everything with a stronger spirit. Also, she has great military training and has been successful at everything she's ever tried in her life. I know that for Marvel readers she's not in the same league of popularity as Ironman or Thor, but for me she's one of their greatest heroes. I like her classic black costume with the mask that shows her eyes.
Quicksilver: His powers are just such a great asset in battle, specially now that he's faster than ever, running up to mach 10. He's a hothead indeed, but I don't like how he's been portrayed by several writers as an anti-hero or even as a villian. I like him as an impulsive hero, but unquestionably a hero. Is very protective of his sister, having taken care of her from an early age. Is divorced to Crystal. I'd use his ability to think fast a lot more, like having him read books superfast for a specific purpose and so on. And considering how he thinks faster than everybody else it's understandable why he's so annoyed all the time. I like his black and white costume.
Hawkeye: It's like it's shown in Secret Avengers, he's just as noble and valorous as Captain America, but with an edge. That's why he's always clashing with caps and that's what makes him so interesting. He has a mind of his own and decides for himself what is right and what is wrong and stands by his decisions always, no matters who disagrees. I admire that a lot. I also love the fact that he's a smartmouth. I like his House of M costume.
Scarlet Witch: With her shy and emotional personality, she's the teams ace cause although she's quite powerful regularly, she can't control her awesome powers very well and many times finds herself in a damsel in distress position. But if you push her buttons she turns into the deadliest and most versatile avenger of all, being able to go against pretty much any kind of foe, from matching Morgan LaFay's magic to destroying Ultron's adamantium body. She does indeed have an inconstant mood, but she's not mentally unbalance and nowhere near crazy. I like her Avengers Disassembled costume.
Vision: Even though he's a robot, he's actually one of the most humain avengers. Some writers have turned him more robotic, but for me I like him best when he's that emotional synthozoid who loves his wife and genuinely cares for people through empathy. Is married to Scarlet Witch. His powers are great and the fact that he can interface with other machines and can avoid most attacks make him a great asset. I like his classic revamped costume.
Wonderman: Aside from being so freakin' powerful and the fact that he's probably the avenger that's the hardest to kill, he's also compared to Thor as the second greatest avengers of all. That's because he is truly fearless and the fact that his brain patters were the ones used for the Vision speaks volumes about his character. He's also the avenger that likes the spotlight the most, having been an actor and stuntman himself, he feels quite at ease in front of a camera and loves stardom. I like his look in ionic form.
Black Widow: Well, she can speak 8+ languages, is a hacker, one of the best fighters there is, can use any gadget, is a manipulative seductress, cold and calculating, outstandingly smart, an infiltration expert, lvl 10 SHIELD agent, has the greatest scores in the Red Room ever and is the worlds greatest spy. Plus, she's over 70 and still looks hot as hell. Need I say more? She'd be the black-ops avenger, information gatherer and SHIELD liason for the team. I like her modern costume.
She-Hulk: How can you not love her? She's just so funny and the avengers need that, otherwise it would be kind of an uptight team. I love how she always manages to infuriate the foes with her sassy comments. She's also really smart and an expert in superhuman law, which certainly comes in handy for this team. I like her modernized purple/white costume with the biker gloves.
Falcon: The fact that he always feels that he has to prove himself (even though he doesn't) makes him work that much harder to do what has to be done. He certanly gets a 10 in effort. He has definitely earned his position among the avengers and isn't filling any racial quota. He's also one of the most skilled fliers in the marvel universe, being able to best people who are much more powerful than him when on air. Plus, the ability to look through any birds eyes makes him a great sentinel for the team (much like Angel is for the X-Men). I like his Avengers disassembled costume, with the bird-like wings instead of the hard light one.
Very nice! well done!
a half of this team appears in the upcoming Avengers movie, hope in the sequel there will be the rest of these Avengers
thanks! I think the only big player in Avengers history not present in the Black Panther, but he's a king and national superhero. I like for things to make sense, he simply wouldn't have the time.
Thanks for posting your Avengers team, Nowhere Man. I really enjoyed reading through your character descriptions and logic for choosing your team. You inspired me to make my own Avengers team. However, I simply like these guys and gals -- no other logic than that I suppose!
I'm glad I inspired you. I like your team. it's quite balanced in terms of skill.
I really love both of your Avengers teams! Feels like the classic Avengers all over again. Here is my take on a more realistic X-Universe (like Fox I was inspired by Nowhere Man. The guy sure is smart and creative creative!) It feels more like the classic X-Men that was the primetime of the X-Men for the majority of the team's fans but it also has many modern touches. The main X-Books would only be Uncanny X-Men and X-Men (2nd series) which would feel like the family books they once were; full of action, romance, and the little personal touches that made the X-Men so realistic. Additional X-Books would be New Mutants, X-Factor, and Academy X-Men (based on the former New/Young X-Men).

Basically the same backstory from my previous idea is in use here. A few things are changed though..
Xavier is crippled from using all his telepathy to project the events on Earth to Wanda and Jean (the two women then decided what needs to be burned away and what is correct). Although his legs can heal, using his telepathy slows down the process so he is making a sacrifice to be an X-Man.
With mutants no longer endangered, Magneto no longer sees Cyke as the King of them all or the need to be an X-Man. He leaves the team for his own agenda but does not remain as the mutant terrorist he once was. He is a sort of anti-hero now as he wants to redeem himself (particulary in the eyes of his children and grand-children) but has a hard time doing so. He remains a weird type of ally to the X-Men and the Avengers as the majority of the two teams still distrust him. While growing to accept Xavier's dream he still doesn't completely agree with it. Often this leads to actions that the other teams don't agree with and can often cause clashes between Magneto and the Avengers or X-Men.
All previous depowered mutants remain depowered. Only Jubilee is an exception for she was on Utopia and near Jean and Wanda when they reversed the spell and brought the world back to balance. As such she was affected and regains her power making her quite a special mutant. Despite this the spell is now broken so new mutants can be born.
The X-Men return to their old way of Xavier's dream. Cyke is no longer "King of the Mutants" a role he took on as he felt that only he could lead all of mutants to survival. The X-Men can't return to Xavier's dream overnight but they are heading back there.
Utopia is sunk underwater and becomes a part of Atlantis. Now ruled by Namor, Utopia serves as a sanctuary not only for Atlanteans but for mutants who need a home and don't feel safe on shore. Namor leaves the X-Men to rule his kingdom and his lover Emma Frost follows to lead and rule with her king.
The X-Men return to the X-Mansion (reconstructed thanks to the hands of several super-smart X-Men, two women with manipulation powers who happen to have red and green hair, and tons of Shi'ar devices). The Xavier Institute is reopened as a school for all mutant students who need one and the New/Young X-Men return to their former roles as students although they are now unofficial members of the X-Men (but they are still young and still need an education. Because of this they won't be official X-Men until graduation).
Professor X - One of the four leaders of the X-Men, Xavier must deal with the sacrifice of his legs if he wants to continue using his psychic powers to help the world. He also questions whether he has truly redeemed himself in the X-Men's eyes.
Cyclops - One of the four leaders of the X-Men, Cyke is reunited with his wife, brother, and two children (Nathan and Rachel). Despite this Cyke also feels the strain of being the only X-Man who has not yet developed his power as well as having lost his "King of the Mutants" title.
Phoenix - Finally returned to her home and family, Jean is raising her two kids Nathan and Rachel with her husband Scott. Jean's role in the X-Men is much different for she is now one of the official leaders of the team and she is also in the most control of her powers than she has ever been, due to her final transformation into the Phoenix. She continues to develop her powers and master them.
Storm - The fourth and final leader of the X-Men, Storm now has regained her leadership of the team. She is still the wife of the Black Panther as well as the Queen of Wakanda, but her heart now lies as a leader of the X-Men.
Wolverine - Although he will never admit it, the X-Men is his family and the X-Mansion perhaps his only home. No longer leader of the black ops team X-Force, Wolverine's loyalties are fully with the X-Men and of course himself. He remains a member of the Avengers but only assists when he isn't with the X-Men or out on one of his own missions.
Rogue - One of the most changed X-Men, Rogue now has full control over her powers. She is no longer emotionally unstable and can channel any power she has absorbed at will. Rogue and her lover Gambit are dating once more and seeking to fully develop their relationship. Rogue now also has a close mentorship to several of the students and serves as the school counselor.
Beast - He remains the X-Men's main technician and medic as well as a close ally to the Avengers. However much like the others, his home is with the X-Men and there is no other place he would rather be. He has also resumed his relationship with the news reporter Trish Tilby.
Iceman - Bobby is now more serious than ever about unlocking his full potential and continues to develop it in astonishing ways. While still a jokester in the heat of battle, Bobby has matured and become more serious. He now also seeks to win the heart of his first love, Polaris.
Gambit - Like many of the other loners Gambit has found a family within the X-Men, but most importantly with his love Rogue. Now the two can finally touch each other and resume their relationship. Now the only question is what happens next for the Rajun Cajun and his southern Belle.
Dazzler - Alison still loves the stage and continues to perform for all of her longtime fans whenever she can get the chance. But her home is now with the X-Men and she is a full-time member. Despite this Dazzler will continue to remain in the spotlight and hopes to become something even greater beyond the disco stage.
Cannonball - Sam's duties are torn between the X-Men and the New Mutants. Having graduated into the X-Men's ranks he feels a need to stay with his new friends, despite having no official leadership rank. But just as often as he is an X-Man, Sam joins his other old friends, the New Mutants, as their co-leader along with Dani Moonstar. His hope is that he can continue to balance out his duties on both teams while retaining a personal life.
Colossus - Piotr is more than glad to have been reunited with his lover Kitty as well as his sister Illyana who regained the pieces of her lost soul and returned from limbo, although the latter has left the X-Men to rejoin her team, the New Mutants. With the X-Men having reached their Heroic Age, Piotr continues his passion of painting while remaining a loyal friend and fierce enemy.
Shadowcat - Kitty is yet another X-Man who has been reunited with the team. Thanks to the actions of Jean and Wanda, Kitty has regained control over her form but found her phasing ability to be unstable at times. As such she has not yet remastered the ability and begins to wonder if her power will ever return to normal. Kitty and Colossus are finally back together again and plan to stay that way.
Nightcrawler - His brief death and resurrection has left Kurt Wagner a changed man. He begins to wonder what death truly means in the eyes of God, as for the majority of superpeople it doesn't stay constant. He also has doubts on whether or not he should truly be alive again as he was so close to reaching his paradise.
Psylocke - Psylocke remains a warrior at heart but has begun to use her telepathy more and more and return to the skill level she once had. She has also discovered that her telepathy and telekinesis can cancel each other out and become unstable, but luckily that is what her training in martial arts is for. She has also resumed dating with Angel.
Angel - Warren still has seeds from Apocalypse within him, seeds that can took over during the most desperate situations. Whenever this happens Angel is transformed into Archangel, one of the deadliest mutants ever. However as Angel, Warren is a gentle and kind spirit although can still be spoiled at times. He is the X-Men's main benefactor and has resumed dating Psylocke.
Jubilee - Jubilee has become something of an enigma within the mutant universe. As the only mutant to regain her powers, she is being pursued from everywhere in the world as a cure to M-Day. But Jubilee is just happy to have her powers back and once more be in the world of the X-Men. She also has begun to unlock her true potential and become one of the most powerful X-Men.
Havok - Alex is reunited with the X-Men on Earth, but loses his lover Lorna in the process. Unlike other times Alex only wants the best for his love, even if it means he won't be sharing a life with her. He is still one of the most powerful X-Men and although he has cooled down in his relationships with Cyke and Havok he can still often have arguements with them.
Polaris - Lorna has been a changed woman in the past few years, from her personality, heritage, powers, and her lovelife. Returning to Earth has reminded Lorna of the pain caused to her by Havok and she has left him. Now in the open field she realizes she loves Iceman but wonders who her heart will end up with at the end.
great ideas MF! interesting thinking of Emma ending up with Namor. that's a heck of a powerful Rogue, huh?
interesting how you like Iceman with Polaris. I always thought that she belonged with havok and that Iceman should end up with Northstar :P
also great that you hooked up Hank back with Trish. haven't seen her in quite a while.
ah, and loved the idea of having Nightcrawler question his faith.Iguess dying can have that effect on people :P
Amazing! love all!!
Thanks guys.
I always felt that the Scott and Emma relationship wrecked the 2 characters as well as Jean. How could two people who's love saved the universe, married after so many obstacles, raised their child for 12 or 13 years in an apocalyptic future, etc. simply leave each other (although according to Here Comes Tommorrow they didn't really want to.)
I also felt as though Emma would want a stronger man who could give her more. While Fraction's Scott can, imo Fraction's version of Scott has really changed him into an unidentifiable person which is why the majority of Cyke fans seem to hate him these days. Emma and Namor are so interesting because he is a king and something Emma could really fall for. The fact that she actually loves him is also interesting as while Emma has been with powerful men, she has never really loved them (Sebastian Shaw or Tony Stark). And I'm sure Emma would love to take on the role of a queen and rule a kingdom.
The Iceman and Polaris relationship was defined during her first apperance. She actually fell for him but then met Havok and went for him instead. Despite this it has been quite evident that Lorna and Bobby still care for each other and have more feelings. Havok/Polaris's relatonship has really bothered me because of all the pain Havok has put her through and at the end he still expects her back. So I thought I would play with this love triangle a little.
Iceman and Northstar would be interesting especially since Northstar should have a boyfriend if he plans to remain gay. All of Iceman's failed relationships with women could make him seem the type but I decided to keep his love triangle going. But who knows, maybe Iceman does have other feelings that are hidden.
I've always liked Hank and Trish from their days in X-Factor to the 90s and was upset to know that she has been in writer's limbo since.
The Nightcrawler idea interested me because this was his first death and being so religious, a resurrection would have lasting effects on him. It seemed natural for him to have such feelings.

Simply. It's called monotony.
It happens all the time, pairs that seems perfect then suddendly break up, why? because the relationships are not perfect all the time, and grown boring over time.
If you read carefully Morrison's run without paying extreme attention to the drama about Emma & Scott's psychic affair (Like most if not all Jean's fans do it), you can clearly see that their marriage was over because none of them wanted to do more about it. They probably still feel love for each other, but that doesn't really make a difference...
The fact that Emma was there is just circumstantial, Morrison saw the potential of these 2 together and made them a pair, but could have been any other woman, was only a matter of time.

Yeah, maybe the White QUeen would love that, but not modern Emma Frost.
And I'm not talking about Fraction's run which I prefer to ignore because his stupid plots and poor characterizations. I'm talking about the one that we saw on New Xmen and Astonishing X-men, where she changed to be a better person, sometimes still a bitch but not that cold woman that was the White Queen.
It's been established by many writers and Marvel itself that she doesn't love Scott because his current position of power, she loves him because what he is, with flaws and everything, accepting him (in a way that Jean couldn't and offering him something that she can't -said by herself-). So saying that she would prefer a powerfull man to become a real Queen is just dumb.

I totally agree whit you here, Lorna needs to move on and start with someone who really shows something real for her, without expecting something else as retribution.

Just to clarify this, gay people does not choose to "remain" gay. Gay people born gay.
I don't know but Scott and Jean will always be the couple for me. Keep in mind that after Jean died Scott still loved her and felt guilty so he was unable to move on. Had he really wanted someone else he could have moved on for Emma or another woman but he still picked Jean, even when she was dead. Only this lead to a apocalyptic future as Scott wouldn't lead the X-Men and to prevent it Jean forced Scott to move on from her and pick another woman. That is why in Endsong Cyke says he picked Emma because Jean forced him to change his decision. There is also the fact that Scott and Emma will always be in the shadow of Scott and Jean. They can't top them and if they tried, basically Scott and Emma would become Scott and Jean.
But I really don't see any point to continue this arguement as I will always want Scott and Jean, and you will always want Scott and Emma. Its as simple as that and I don't know about you but I've become tired of this argument.

Hmm, didn't know that about gay people. Our school has taught us that gay people aren't born gay but chose it when they grew up. But I do live in the south so most people here frown upon anyone gays, lesbians, and bisexuals particularly my school (if I said something offensive to anyone, please forgive me because I didn't may anything rude).

I love your new X-Men team, and I dont think Emma and Scott are right for each other no matter what anyone says, she is just toying with him, and The gay thing, they are not born that way, It is a choice, because if they were born like it they would not be able to control it, and its not a bad thing, everyone deserves to be happy, so if they Choose this, then I will support them all the way, sorry to get off topic :P

No I'm not tired of it, besides this is a discussion topic, you post your ideas and I'm only saying that I'm not agree with some of them :)
Lol, and you are wrong , I love Scott and Emma together, but I know that at one point the relationship will become boring and it will be a writer who will think "Mmm we have Polaris, oh she would make a great couple with Cyclops" and that's it the end. It happen all time.
And you are worng in Endsong Scott said that he loves Emma because she stays when Jean just ran away, she forces him to do things that he doesn't want to do but he must. Read better ;)
About the gay disscussion, I can tell to both of you that as the gay man that I am, I never choose my sexuality. I like boys since I can remember, and I never liked girls and tried to like them. You can't control it, it's not like a flu or something like that, you just feel it. Otherwise, tell me, both of you, have you wake up someday and said "oh I like that boy on my history class! I'll talk to him", do you? No right?, it's the same thing here.
Anyway since we became more off topic I'll close the discussion (on this topic, if anyone want to open a new disscussion feel free to do it), with my X-men team (whithout the dolls because I just don't have the time)
-Cyclops- I like him, and the fact that he became a better and fearless leader in New- Xmen and Astonishing X-men (until Fraction took Uncanny X-men)
-Emma Frost- She's my favorite obviously, but I also like her because she's misterious and brings the team the "realist" factor, says everything that the others doesn't want to, and yeah she's a bitch :P
-Storm- She's probably the X-woman that I respect most after Emma. Independent, confident and powerfull.
-Dazzler- A great character with great powers that needs a better writer to shine.
-Northstar- I just love him, but again, as Dazzler, need a better writer.
-Wolverine- He's cool, but has too much screen time, if he only stay with the main team of X-men is enough.
-Rogue- Now that she's totally in control of her powers, the southern belle has just come back :)
-Angel- I like his dual being with the Angel/Archangel thing (sorry I don't know how to explain it)
-Beast- Another one that I love :)
Annnd
-Jean Grey- yes people I don't hate her, I actually like her a lot but she must return as Jean, no Phoenix, no White hot room, no drama, just powerfull and confident Jean Grey.
There are others that I love, but those are my favorites :)
Love your team whiteking. And you are right about gay people, I tried to like a girl because in my country, there is too much prejudice with gay people but it's not our choice.
It's fun to read through everyone's "ideal" teams and their storylines! And, all the storylines even encourage discussions about real life. That's cool too.
@ MarvelFan12345
Two questions:
1. Have you ever thought of writing (like for comic books or something)? You've got alot of creative ideas!
2. What type of school do you go to -- private or public or something else?
Thanks for the compliment Fox, but I don't think I'd be that good really. My parents probably wouldn't approve of that idea unless it was something on the side.
I go to public. The teachers don't give their opinions on gays and lesbians but during our reproduction unit during science, our teacher did get some questions on gay people mainly, on if they are born that way or make a choice. My teacher said she is not too familiar with the subject but that it is a choice that is made.

I am sorry to bring it back up again, but It is a choice, my Aunt is gay, and She liked guys at a point in time, and she even has a son, not from adoption, it was her choice to be gay, and not straight, you make it sound like an illness, in which you cant control, if you want to be with girl do it if you want to be with a guy do that aswell, you make the choice, your DNA doesn't, thats the way I see it

Ha ha, but no she is not, she Used to like men, not any more, after she had her son, its been all girls, she married one, and is now with another, she is not Bi
this thread is getting VERY sidetracked and I'm showing a lot of restrain in not continuing this discussion any further, cause I have a bunch of serious opinions and data about this subject and could clarify loads of wrong information that some of you have. but the point is: stay on topic.
Had some spare time yesterday and made some new teams. They're still the same X-Books but with different rosters (except for X-Men Legacy because I really like that roster. It blends well imo)

GREAT!!! I love your tems very much!
let me ask you MF. in this x-universe of yours, who is leading this huge brotherhood of mutants?
When Destiny is resurrected she has a vision of a world where mutants rule over humans. Mystique learns this and starts the mutant army/Brotherhood but it is believed that she is being influenced by an outside force. Who this force is, even I don't know. It could be Shadow King, Apocalypse, or Cassandra Nova (Nova would really plotting the downfall for mutants). Or it could be a new mutant.
Considering how the end of Second Coming in my universe is Wanda and Jean breaking the spell and new mutants can be born (but all former mutants remain depowered. Except for Jubilee, Prodigy, and Moonstar as they were on Utopia and close enough to Wanda and Jean to be affected) a new evil mutant could always surface.
Much of the plots in each book will be connected to the Brotherhood and the villain pulling the strings. X-Factor will get mysterious cases tied to it, Uncanny X-Men will be chasing the Brotherhood around the world trying to figure out their plan, Utopia will be attacked by the Brotherhood for an unknown reason, the sword of Excalibur will also be revealed to have been stolen by the Brotherhood for unknown reason. It may be the Heroic Age but the X-Men are facing against a whole army of deadly mutants and they are in the dark about the Brotherhood's plans. Everything the Brotherhood does doesn't seem to have a connection but it all is working to some sinister goal.
Edit: BTW thank-you Rogue for the compliment. How do you like the placement of Rogue in Astonishing X-Men?

Really fantastic! I'm so impressed!
I like your teams, Edward.
Great team! I love how you have the in and out group to
I love how the team is 90s style. To me that is the best X-Men because it has the most important members.

I present the Astonishing X-Men, the first live-action TV series for the X-Men.
It was inspired by the X-Men anime as I wanted to make another Astonishing X-Men team. It is a TV show but it would be the first live action TV series for the X-Men which is why everyone is wearing black leather, as I'm sure we all know yellow spandex just doesn't look good outside of the comics.
The first 5 in the pic would be the main cast along with some others I haven't decided. I also included Rogue, Iceman, and Gambit but I haven't decided if they should be main stars as well. I also made ones for Colossus, Armor, and Emma but they are on another computer so I'll post them later. No idea if they should also be main stars but they do fit the Astonishing label. Plus, along with the five I mentioned (minus Colossus), they fit the X-Men Anime team.
I think the cast will rotate (like the X-Men does in the comics) but the five I mentioned will be in all the seasons or at least most of them. To me they are the main X-Men so thats why they'll always be X-Men. The rest of the X-Members will switch around in seasons and basically come and go.
EDIT: I forgot X's on Iceman and Gambit. I'll update that later along with Colossus, Armor, and Emma.

Great, a live action X-Men would be great! Did you make some of these or find them somewhere?
Thanks. Most are the same except for the X's (except for Iceman and Gambit who don't have X's yet). Rogue is the most edited but not too much.

I like them alot!
Thanks again! I think an X-Men live action series would work really well. Not sure who would play who though. I'm not too good about the casting.
I wonder who also, im not the best at casting either lol
Some people have huge lists of casting. I always liked Famke as Jean, they sort of clicked for me. Since this is just fanfiction I'd love to see a teenage Famke play Jean.

See I like Famke, but I see her as to old for Jean
I'm currently building my teams, but I thought I'd jump in here. I'm one that has a deep casting pool. I'm a producer and casting is part of the job description. However, a lot of the actresses and actors that I would place are unknowns (which for superhero movies I prefer anyway). I'd be happy to offer up suggestions to any of the characters though. Just let me know which ones and I'll see if I can't pull something up.
Alright. After careful consideration, with few exception, I like the teams as they are now in the X universe. I do wish that Darwin could've hooked up with Gambit and X-23 while out in the desert and that Cloak could join X-Force, but that's not really enough to do a whole big thing about a new team.
So I put together a team that I've been thinking about for awhile and the story to go with it. Enjoy!
A dupe of (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/MultipleMan-XFactorTheInvisibleWomanHasVanishedpt12-Spz.gif) is digging at an archeological site in the middle east.
He stumbles across a strange rock covered in type of black slime. Before he knows it, this poor dupe becomes (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/alx-venom.gif).
Bad turns to worse when the symbiote flies back to New York to meet up with the real (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/MultipleMan-XFactorTheInvisibleWomanHasVanishedpt12-Spz.gif) and turns into (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/Multivenom1.jpg)
Calling itself 'Virus' the symbiote quickly multiplies and begins to ravage NY. However one (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/MultipleMan-XFactorTheInvisibleWomanHasVanishedpt12-Spz.gif) managed to escape. Luckily for everyone, he is one of the smart dupes on contacts the (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/Xmen.jpg)
The heroes rush to the aid of their fellow mutant. By the time they get there the (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/Avengers.jpg) are already on the scene. However, the 2 groups quickly come to odds at how exactly to handle the situation.
Then, (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/CaptainAmerica-Darksun3.png) suggests that (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/spiderman.gif) lead this operation. He is in fact the world's leading expert in these particular types of situations. Spidey quickly deduces that these symbiotes cannot be attacked outright, for every time they get hit, they multiply. So Spidey hand selects a team of heroes (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/antisymbitoteteam.jpg) who's powers don't rely on physical strength. The combination of Cloak being able to harmlessly transport Virus dupes to nowhere, Daggers light and an array of sound and fire should be able to stop them.
Spidy turns to the others (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/Heroes1.jpg) and instructs them to hit the streets. Their mission...to save the civilians. Keep the general population out of harms way.
The plan works! The city is saved! Steve Rogers, during the experience, realizes 2 things. A. That people are safer when the humans and mutants work together and B. There needs to be a team solely devoted to protecting the civilians on the street level while the 'power houses' deal with the larger threat. He initiates a new kind of team with an old legacy. A Pubilic Relations team comprised of exactly half humans and half mutants. He calls them...THE NEW DEFENDERS! (http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/mccordlarsen/TheNewDefenders.jpg)
Stay tuned as the team comes to terms with Roger's command that a 17 year old girl (Hope) should lead the team. Will Daredevil and Echo's old flame be rekindled? How will Dagger overcome her feelings of inadequacy, especially when Cloak seems to have eyes for another team mate!? Where does he and X-23 go all the time anyway? Is Madrox really okay with just taking orders again? Tempers will fly! Hearts will be broken! A team will unite to protect those that matter the most!
It' cool! I love all teams!

Here is the updated team (updated Iceman and Gambit along with Colossus, Armor, and Emma)
Very nice!
Thanks, its a live action TV series called the Astonishing X-Men. Full details are on page 6.
Nice!
I like the update!
Thanks guys. I may make some more later like Kitty, Kurt, Betsy, Warren, etc. They won't all be the main cast as some will be recurring.
One day I'd love to see somebody actually make a live-action X-Men series.
