What characters do you recommend?

you mean cool none default mua characters? well, War Machine, Punisher, She-Hulk, one of the many Jeans, one of the 2 Rogues, one of the 2 Scarlet Witches, all OC Pack characters, Wasp, Ant-Man, Beast, Scarlet Spidey, Green Goblin, Emma Frost, Psylocke, Northstar, Hellion, Moonstone, Songbird, Iron Fist...
To Nowhere Man's list, I would add Angel.
It also depends on what you like. If you like more Avenger characters then you may prefer them over other mods. I find Dazzler to be a really cool mod also, she was the first mod I used. Shadowcat is also fun and unique :)
i vote emma frost whiteking's version, she is my favorite mod i always have her in 4 players. x23 midnightphoenix's version is the best killer my brother always plays her (we play in multiple player mod) and he always win when he use x23 (playing in arcade mod)
