Title: LarsMasters' Tutorial: FB Conversion for beyond PC consoles
Post by: LarsAlexandersson on September 23, 2015, 12:20AM
In case if the tutorial wasn't exist from beginning, i made one. It's for outside PC consoles (PS2, PSP, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360 (if it's not Gold Edition & I'm not sure if Gold Edition DLC rar folder can change that way))

FB Programs (Extractor and Builder) (by Norrin Radd)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6t2fdqqs2bq2y6r/NR_fb_pack.rar?dl=0

Step 1: Download a respective console ISO (suggest for Full one)

Step 2: Extract assetsfb.wad, then open it with WinRar to find the fb files inside packages folder & extract some of them in the folder where you extract the FB Programs

Step 3: Use CMD (cmd.exe/Command Prompt)

Step 4: On CMD > cd folder name/folder name which contains your extracted FB programs > Enter

Step 5: type and enter "fbExtractor.exe name.fb" to extract it

Step 6: Mod with XMLBCUI (for ENGB, ITAB & XMLB) &/or Texture Finders (for IGB)
*there's a tutorial made by Noelemach about skinning PSP models & i still don't understand how. It is similar to PS2 skinning, but difficult
*Note that it was already being mentioned that PS2 models (including XML series & MUA ones), effects & Loadscreen would work as well, which is very easy for skinning, in case during a situation if you do not know how to skin the PSP models. Look at Wolverine's non-PSP Loadscreen for example
*NPCStat is important for fb packages maps making as well besides data
*data folder only file like herostat & review path may uses a normal way, such XMLBCUI then drag the modified version of the files

Step 7: Open CFG file as notepad, to add a new existing new file you made (can be skipped if there's nothing new, but a modded version of the extracted files)

Step 8: Repeat Step 3 - 4  of CMD first, then type "fbBuilder". Once you enter it, type and enter "name.cfg"

Step 9: Remove ".cfg" name on the new .fb files you made

Step 10: copy to the extracted assetsfb.wad for some of your respective console ISO you download to a respective folder

Step 11: Open ISO Mod Program, such as UMDGen for PSP. Then copy the assetsfb.wad into respective folder & Walah, ready to test it out

UPDATED: I would suggest to extract all files & create a pkgb. In case for our own each research & test to see if replacing fb with pkgb will work or not, inside or outside z/assetsfb.wad, just like we did on MUARE as what MUALover discovered
