So, according by United States Patent and Trademark Office (link: https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=87116767&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch), in May, Marvel updated or registered some TMs that related to MUA. Any thoughts?

Could be. Is there a way to tell if it's a new trademark or just a renewal of the original?

As long as Marvel Heroes 2016/Omega exists, there'll never be another Ultimate Alliance game.
"Free" to play games make way more money than the regular games.

This. And they just released Marvel Heroes on Xbox One and PS4, so they'll be pushing that for a while.

+ bad news that F4 props playables including Surfer, except Doom are removed. Doom in case also being an universal arch-enemy to Iron Man.
