currently updating this mod with a new fightstyle, replacing his xtreme with a better one, adding another boost, and some other things.  The one problem i keep having is that he freezes up when he is in ai mode, he gets stuck in idle animation, and i cant get him out of it until i hit keypad 5 or activate a power, this doenst happen when im playing as him, only when he is in ai.  I had this problem before but thought i had fixed it, guess not.  Well im guessing it has something to do with a walking/sprint/advance problem, since it always freezes when he should be walking or advancing.  Anyways, i'll fix that and then release it.  If anyone has had a similar problem as this let me know.

Differences from Version 1:
* New fightstyle (so you have to start a new game)
* added menu action
* changed his xtreme, looks a lot better now
* added a second boost and changed some animations around
* New icons
* updated power sounds

Glitches:
* Like mentioned above the character seems to freeze up when under ai control.  If you are playing with him its fine, if he's on your team under ai, he sometimes freezes in place or just spins around in a circle.  To get him out of this state press keypad 5 or whatever button makes this thing pop up: (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/nodoubt_jr/XMenLegends0126-1.jpg)  I cant really figure out why its doing this, im tired of looking, ive tried everything to fix it, so im hoping a fellow modder will look at it and see if they can see the problem.

other than that one glitch, the mod is complete.

currently updating this mod. im basically just moving him back to one skeleton, it shouldnt be too hard since he only uses his second skeleton for his xtreme and for a boost.

should be done by tommorow. i still think he is one of the funnest characters to play with, the belly flop, the rolling ball, and the butt slam are all fun.

mod is almost done updating, i changed the xtreme to "Massive Stomp" basically he slams his foot down and causes a big knocback in a radius.  the only thing i still need to do is find a good animation for his taunt boost, i used all the animations from his skeleton, so im looking at shared animations or possible something from fighstyle wrestling.  expect it tommorow.

I mean that when he steps, there are big BOOMS but when he jumps you'd think he'd land harder than his footsteps, but he lands so lightly on his feet, like a feather.

Just something for you to think about; it doesn't really detract at all from the enjoyment of playing with him unless you think about it too much, haha.

Notes: Updated version with only one skeleton. He now uses fightstyle wrestling. To have his new xtreme look correct you have to have fightstyle wrestling so either start a new game or replace a character with fightstyle wrestling. I still have the same problem as in version 2, he freezes in a spinning animation when under ai control, look up 8 post to see what i mean.  I have no idea why it does that, if any modder knows let me know.

differences from previous version:
* Fixed his pinball move, now it does damage when he hits someone or something.
* New xtreme "Massive Stomp"

Notes: New updated version, hopefully its the final version.  The best part is that the stupid looping were he just goes around and around in a circle is finally fixed.  AHHH! Finally he doesn't get stuck like that and attacks and follows the group.  One of my favorite mods, his moves are unique and pretty funny.

Differences from previous version:
* loading screen from XML1
* fixed powerstyle and cleaned up talents. i had forgotten one powerup tag so one of his powers did really low damage, now it does the correct damage.
* redid character packages
* fixed loop problem, no longer goes around and around in a circle
* added a louder noise to his landing

This is the same version that will appear in the Brotherhood Edition.

Errr, excuse me but I'm in a doubt it sounds like you are keeping his explosion steps intentionally, what reason would that be? Shouldn't it be just a ground crack texture?

i think in XML1 it was just a little dust left behind after the footstep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbRaApagWbk&feature=PlayList&p=8AD8BA66B3D6C0FC&index=2 at around 9:01 you can see what i mean), i didnt know about this at the time and based it on his xml1 load screen http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/File:Blob_-_X-Men_Legends.jpg . In the end i like how it looks now and have no plans of changing it.

 :blob: Well I think in his XML1 load screen that was just fire cause they still got smoke rising from them, by the way in the actual game alot of places shouldn't have any dust around like on the concrete floor, that red gas thing looked really like an explosion right under his feet especially on a bright contrast with the ground texture. And for the character in the same scale Juggernaut doesn't have this effect either, that really looked weird...  I've just finished the video, the dust cloud appeared in XML1 looks decent, but this one looked way much exagerrated, on my computer it looks like even bigger than an explosion...

like i said, i have no plans to change it (i like it, so its staying), so if you want you can edit the herostat and remove the line "footstepfx = char/blob/blopstep ;" or just delete the effect from the effects folder (Effects/char/blob/blopstep)

Hey nodoubt just tried out blob and he is just AMAZING!Love to play as him but there is only one prob i had with him-His running and walking:When i start running the first step he does makes him go realy fast and forward.When i walk he starts doing a quicsilver run(i mean his superfast) using his running anim.Oh and when he lifts un object its in him(while holding).So.....is it fixible?

Glad you like him. With the running and walking, do you mean sometimes he runs fast and sometimes he runs slow? His skeleton has unique running or walking animations but not sprinting and advancing, so he has to use the shared anims that others use, which sometimes look weird on him. As for your second question, no the skins cant be fixed, the creators of the game exported weirdly or something, because whether scaled or not, stuff goes through him.
