Notes: A mixture of Marrow XML1 and Black Panther.  Needs icons, currently using Wolverine.
Works great, five attacks, two xtremes, two boost.  Currently her boost that adds her bone armor does not go away after the boost is over, the skin remains.  Its really not that bad since it looks kind of cool, but it is a glitch with the mod.

This uses a new fightstyle not in XML2.  So you must start a new game from default, old games will not accept the new fightstyle and the mod will not be able to use its second skeleton in old games.  So just start over.

Backup anything else you might overwrite, im not responsible for anything that is lost. Install everything in this mod in order for everything to work correctly.  Ive set up the rar file to match the way XML2 sorts its files, so just drag and drop.

thats how trails from XML1 appear in XML2, this is the same problem with Jubilee's fireworks attack, and Magma's lava balls.

I wonder if we can fix this by swapping the position of some of the numbers in the effects file. :scratchhead:
For example, from:

123 456 789

to:

456 123 789

...kinda like switch the axes.

Are those bone-knives boltons or part of the model? A couple posibilities came to mind with that shape (Warpath or Drax?).

yeah, after im done with the brotherhood projects, i'll be updating a lot of the mods, mostly sound for some, but major changes for others. i would do some of these updates right away, but i really want to finish my current project before i move on to the next.

(this is just the fix, you still have to download Version 2 for the full mod)

Ok heres a quick update for this mod.  What this does is fix her Bone Armor boost, so now when the boost is over the additional skin armor dissapears.  This also fixes a mistake i had in her charge move, were the bolton didnt appear, now it does and hers a pic:

eventually i'll do another updated version including new icons and a fix for her pounce power.  but that will come later.

Notes: Updated version.  Still uses two skeletons as her xml1 skeleton doesnt have enough animations for a full powerset.  Her fightstyle is complete now, so i would suggest if you use her only use one character with two skeletons along with her on the team.

Differences from previous version:
* Included the fixed powerstyle and fixed bone skin from my previous post
* added a loading screen
* new icons by Dihan (thanks for those :))
* fixed her Tackle power, so now she does jump at enemies and slash at them on the ground, also recolored the effect that goes with that power
* Fixed up her fightstyle, it is now complete so she will be able to defeat enemies that need a certain combo to break their shield
* Redid power sounds, some were too manly.  Also upped the volume on some of the xml1 power sounds as they were too low.

reuploaded version 3 (now version 3.1) to include a fixed powerstyle so that the icons appear correctly in game

Hey nodoubt, I was taking a look at her powers and noticed that you can use only blackpanther's skeleton for her, for Bone shards you could use the master hunter animation, for Bone charge you could use for the first animation the levelup animation and for the second the same animation used fo tackle, and for Picushion could be the panther's might start animation or ea_double_jump_start. Is only a suggestion,I remember you said that you pretend to turn your characters to one skeleton, but if not she is already great with 2 skeleton :)

thanks for the suggestion, but i want her to have her XML1 skeleton since its unique to her and has some really cool/unique animations, but since it doesn't have alot of animations, she needs another skeleton and thats were black panther comes in.  so i definitely don't want to get rid of her XML1 skeleton, so she is definitely staying with two skeletons.

Note: What i hope to be the final version. Just minor updates.  I love all the bone boltons this character uses, one of the most unique characters from xml1.

differences from previous version:
*slight change in her fightstyle (i removed knockback from some of her attacks to make it easier to do combos in the danger room move courses)
*redid character packages
*cleaned up talents, should make her attacks more balanced and also adjusted damage on Bone Charge, it was way too high
*added her pretty x-men skin, look at the pic below
*New bone projectile effect, similar to what she should have from xml1 look at pic below

This is the same version that will appear in the Brotherhood Edition, so download now or wait for the packaged edition.

@marvel watcher - she always has the bone knifes in her hands, so the long nails look really crappy holding bone knifes. but thanks for the idea.

no the wings are not boltons for the ps2 models, they are skin segments.  They are there but like always XML2 hides any skin parts it cant find a bone for, so since both of Marrow's skeletons dont have the wing bones needed the wings hide themselves automatically.  Dihan you dont need to convert it, its already ps2 so it should be good to go in MUA, hopefully you will be able to hide the wings since they are a separate skin segment.

I got all the skin segments sorted out after a lot of guess work, now my only problem is the Bone Armor power. The skin thing doesn't seem to want to attach to the Deathbird skin and I don't know why. Here's a picture anyway:

I was wondering if this was a problem in the XML2 mod, if it's not then there's something I've overlooked somewhere...

yes its also a problem in XML2, but not as bad as in MUA.  These add on skins dont seem to work well with MUA based skins (for example the white armor in my Magik mod which is based on Icemans ice armor from XML1 wraps around the XML1 and XML2 skins great, but on the MUA skins it seems to float away from their skin).

heres a picture showing how Bone Armor looks on the new skin in XML2, and how it looks on a XML1 based skin (last on the right)

the bone thats suppose to go on the legs is gone, and it only appears in certain areas.

yeah the one i used in my mod was xbox based, if you want i can up the ps2 version so that it matches the color of the xml2 in mua?

the bone dagger boltons were already in XML2 PC so i just use those instead. im about to pm you the skin and all the boltons that extracted from her ps2 package.

That bone armour is a lot better now. The bone knife boltons, on the other hand, still show up as black... I guess I'll have to try and reskin the boltons I use to be more bone-like some time.
