Thought I'd create A thread for this. He was 1 of my favorite actors, and his untimely demise is simply shocking. Now I can't wait for the Dark Knight to be released! The trailer was awesome.

A Knight's Tale, hands down.
For me it would be 10 things I hate about you and Casanova. I enjoyed his acting. Havent seen Brokeback Mountain, so dont know how he acted, though I am guessing it was good, because he was nominated for an Oscar after all.
It has been confirmed that Ledger's death was of accidental cause due to accidental drug overdose in the cocktail he drank earlier in the evening before he was found dead in his apartment room.

I'm pretty sure it was due to the mixture of several of his prescription meds. In fact, I am VERY sure of it.

i dont know where my brother got this story, but he said a while time ago he read that jack nicholson warning him dont take the role of joker, it did give him hell timeand drive him crazy, hard to believe a most villianoius character ever made in comic can drive a person crazy and get nightmares
Your brother mixed 2 different pieces of information:
1) In an interview, Nicholson joked about being furious that they didn't call him to play the Joker, and gave the role to Ledger instead ( http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1573617/20071106/story.jhtml )
2) Nicholson said in a recent interview that he warned Ledger not to take some sleeping medication (Ambien), because "Nicholson said:"I took Ambien once. I never really saw a Heath Ledger movie (except "10 things..."). I was looking forward to his Joker, though. And still am.

I did watch a Knight's Tale. I loved his performance there as well. Haven't seen Brokeback Mountain as yet.

I liked him in The Patriot, The Brothers Grimm and A Knight's Tale. I can't wait to see him as The Joker.
Yeah, Heath was really cool in the Brother's Grimm. So can't wait for the Dark Knight. Even if the movie blows, I'll still love it!
I just watched his role in Knight's Tale on HBO. It was quality.
Just watched the Order yesterday, and I must say his performace was rather commendable.
