Thanos, Beyonder or...

Dr. Doom. You know that he'll just reappear and steal the power of whoever was supposed to be the bigger threat at the end of act 4.

I voted for galactus , loki and thanos ... to me onslaught would be more of a x-men legends 3

Red Skull - purely so people can re-live Captain America and The Avengers (old Genesis Game) and he hasn't really made that much news...apart from a certain event (like where's he in Ultimate Avengers?)

I went Baron Zemo. It would be cool to do a "Thunderbolts" theme, good way to include villains on the roster.

Loki, galactus, and kang!
Galacctus- powerul. plus it'll be kewl to stop the planet from exploding :)
Loki- he was the one who unwittingly assembled the avengers.
kang-welll there cud be kewl stufff- like going 2 2099, age of apoc., DOFP spir-girl, aND 1602.

I voted for Doom :doom:, Magneto :magneto: and Apocalypse :apocalypse: as an alliance of all "three xml games". Also, the playable characters should include a few more x-men than in mua 1. (see "which characters-thread")

Thanos and Onslaught for me!
They are enemies of the whole marvel universe and could prove really good major villains.

I voted Annihilus, Galactus and Ultron; thinking it would be a lot of fun to put the heroes into the Annihilation: Wave and Conquest storylines that are currently running in Marvel's cosmic universe. These are really great stories, and you'd have so many bugs and robots to squash! Would include the High Evolutionary, Adam Warlock, Quasar, Kree, Skrulls, Nova Corps, Space Knights, ...

Otherwise, a Thanos game for the infinity Gems would be awesome too. Perhaps work Kang/ Immortus in there somehow. You also have some of the other BIG dudes that could get involved like Grandmaster, Korvac, The Stranger, The In-Betweener, Living Tribunal, EGO, Lady Death...

Absorbing Man would be a great bad-guy to have in the game somewhere. Good idea.

Other ideas...

A cosmic cube adventure with MODOK (A.I.M.), the Red Skull and/or Hydra chasing it down.
could include the other cartels; Madame mask and the Maggia, Her Father Count Nefaria,
The Hood and his new crime syndicate...

A Hand adventure would be awesome for DD, Wolvie and Elektra types...

I think they need a break to join the cause after their asses got whooped in all 3 games.

I chose Apocalypse, Thanos, and Galactus. Any of the three could pull off a threat on a galactic level that would require an epic team up of heroes to defeat the threat. Well that..and they happen to be my favorite villians that Marvel has to offer!  :rockon:

Couldn't they want to work together because of all three were defeated in previous games? They are "villains", they have a lust of power.

Well, i voted for this 3 guys...

Galactus: He is one of the most powerfull entities in the whole marvel universe... pretty much like Dark Seed is in DC, he is the ULTIMATE villain for a Marvel title.

Thanos: Same as above...

Dr Doom: My favorite Marvel Villain next to Apocalypse. Dr Doom is a must!!!

CONCLUSION: Basically i voted for this guys cause in my mind, there ain't anyone that can pull chaos as this guys can. If this was an XML3 game i would probably go for Apocalypse or Onslaught (which are my fav villains in that series) but for an ALL marvel game i must say this 3.

Well the end of MUA did hint at Galactus so I chose him but I think Thanos or Mephisto could be possible major baddies also. Beyonder and Kang would also be cool. Doom again as a major villian- Been there, Done that! Boring!

i want kang... it would be perfect a time travel scheme.... that would be sweet....!! but galactus is more likely 'cuz the end of mua. maybe kang can fight galactus too, but mess up the heroes plans so theres some levels were ya gob after kangs guys.... dude That wud be awesome and sweetoleea

Galactus because the way the story in MUA ended,plus he would want the nullifier back as it is the weapon that can destroy him.

Galactus for sure is going to be..... Mephisto are you kidding he got beaten in the first game like he was nothing..

Some, most x-men. He was the one who healed may? Is just how activision decided to do with hes talent which was pretty much hidding behind blackheart.

Onslaught: Because of his "Mighty Hand". I can't believe he actually said that though. And because I hated him for owning me in MvsC.

But you never actually defeat Mephisto, where you do defeat most other bosses.

After seeing that the heroes stole from him, hes pissed and wants revenge, somehow he breaks Loki out of his prison along with Doom, and they could also get Thanos, and alot of other strong villians,

I just hope that if Galactus is used again, he is harder to beat in the 2nd game bc he was way to easy in the first one.

i voted galactus. It'd be really cool to fight him and his heralds. it'd be cool to fight vulcan too but i don't think he'd be a great main villain. A pretty cool unlockable character though?

ACTUAALYY MAYBE.... this is how galactus makes an aliance.... he isntt hungry so all he wants to do is destroy the heros. he makes apact with the villians if they help him get at the heros hell never ever eat earth!

I would say Galactus and Dr Doom, both to take revenge for what you did (prevented Galactus from eating a planet (wich made him look at the earth as a next meal) and Dr Doom, well to obvious to say why).

While I agree with Galactus being the big villain in the game, I would like to see Mr. Sinister do some experiment on Apocolypse after he was defeated and he is revived and placed under his control. That way you have to deal with two threats. Preferably take care of business in Egypt, then go back to Mannhatan and deal with Galactus.

That reminded me of the SNES "Marvel Superheroes: War of the Gems" game, where you had to find the infinity gems in different locations before facing Thanos, including Egypt (along Alaska, Latveria, and for some reason some Boston Aquarium that was getting flooded).

Surtur, Thanos and Galactus would be good villains....

In my opinion Galactus and Mephisto would be very good villains and if u add Thanos it could be the best combination of villains.
I thought about Mephisto because I liked the part of the Mephisto's realm from MUA.
And the fights against Thanos and Galactus could be in the space

Mephisto's Realm reminded me of WoW (World of Warcraft)...

Mephisto and Surtur would make a good combination for one entire act.

I say Galactus, Thanos and Mister Sinister. You don't get much of a fight with Galactus on MUA, Thanos really hasn't been a villain yet on any of them so far, which is sad...and Mister Sinister was just left out there somewhere after XML2 and he's a wicked character. I think Thanos would be the best Ultimate Villain though.

I think that because some of the game will be focused around the events of Civil War, MUA 2 may showcase some of the lesser seen villains with a behind the scenes kind of "Boss." I think the Red Skull would be a great candidate for something like this, especially given some of the recent revelations in the current Captain America comic.

At first I thought Galactus too would be the main adversary, but then I wondered about how that would tie into Civil War at all. But I would really like to see a villain that has to rely more on subterfuge and the use of other villains as his goons.

Not that it would be based on Civil War events, but that some part of the game will focus on the Civil War.

Eww... I don't want that heroes-vs-heroes thing in MUA2. :D

annilus (if it is the green guy with wings and evil) to excuse a battle in baxter building, mags to bring xmen back,and thanos,to bring the heavy hitters like nova.

Galactus is the most obvious pick, aside from being a kickass last boss, so he got my vote.

Thanos is also a very cool character to battle with, and with Galactus and all that cosmic stuff, putting Thanos in shouldn't be very difficult.

And Mr. Sinister would also make a cool completion for this trio. I don't know, I just like him ever since the X-Men TAS back on the 90s.

dr. doom has a device that can save the universe hes gonna give it to the heros....but because of what happened in mus1 ultron and baron mordo kidnap him.
nice sideplot eh?

Now that the  Civil War plot has been revealed, I have a peculiar feeling that the main villain will be either Cap or Stark, depending on whose side you're on.

Galactus would be awesome to be the main villain of MUA2 because he has a cause for revenge (They dare steal from Galactus!), and Ultron is just plain awesome.

I can see Absorbing Man, stealing hero's powers and appearances.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I just got my game magazine and they got some shots from the game so far. It's all about fusion. And they did show some old army dudes, but they also showed robots. The major part of it though is Fusion.

I believe that's pretty much old news now; read the other threads in this board.

I think i vote the inter galactic boss for me:
Galactus & Thanos

Apocalypse, Galactus, and Mephisto for me.  A true alliance of Evil.

I didn't vote but I think anyone of the "good guys" should turn bad...
and we (players) just discover that at the end of the game
