Thanks again for your work on Northstar. I hope you keep converting these characters that the XML2 modders have done!
I gave Northstar a try and here are a few notes:
-Skins and huds look great, as do the icons (though the "black box" effect needs removed.
-Powers 1 and 6 are cool; nice to have the effects so similarly colored. Power 5 is fine as well.
-Power 2--the left hand, which actually gives the uppercut, is not given an effect. That should be a simple fix to bolt that on in the PS.
-Power 3 doesn't seem to work at all.
-Power 7 (1st Boost) doesn't have any effect, so it's impossible to tell when the power is active.
-There's no jumpsmash and only a generic grabsmash. The jumpsmash should be simple to add by pulling it from another character's ps. Grabsmash could be improved if you use the coding from the 4_combat_skeleton you used.
-I don't have any powers or icons for skin 6. Could be a problem in the packages.
Overall a good start with some fairly easy fixes to get it up to top shape. Looking forward to see what you do with Husk, and I'll try to check out the issues in your files for her as well.
Just FYI guys, I've got about 5-6 decent voice sets (large ones) from other games. If you want someone totally unique from and XML/MUA character let me know.
At least I know that it works for someone. Are the sounds ok as they are or do they need to be a bit louder and clearer?
Northstar:
* "Blinding Flash" doesn't work at all (cannot even press the button).
It also doesn't even have a corrupted icon (insread it shows the number "1")
* "Shooting Star" doesn't have any visible effect.
These two are ok for me, they were also ok for Cates a few pages ago

* Bone charge has a white icon in the gamepad menu.
Regarding the movement bug of "Bone charge" - looks like it is more a matter of strange animation. Marrow charges forward (but only if able), then does damage, then charges backwards. So if she is next to an enemy it looks VERY weired.
It's supposed to be like that.
* Morlock Rage doesn't have any visible effect
I couldn't figure out how to get the red effect on use to stay
* Bone armor has two visible effects:
1) a green disk that works fine
2) visible bone shards that do not disappear when the power ends.
I haven't figured out how to fix that yet
Dust:
Works perfectly now.

a) I can't see the problem for myself
b) I don't know how to fix it
c) Even if I did I wouldn't be able to test out any of the fixes without uploading loads of different versions
General:
Power reassignments like
power1 = power1 ;
power2 = power5 ;
power3 = power8 ;
power4 = power7 ;
screw up the finisher for the gamepad (the finisher button is assigned a regular power by default).
They're not needed anyhow, so you can just delete them if you want
You could do Rockslide too. A grey version of thing. I thought a powerset for him if you are interested.

203 was Hawkeye's old slot when it was first converted from PSP. There's a recent post in the Coordinational Concepts thread that updates the slot list as much as I could given recent releases and reservations.

I know that some people have had problems with Xtremes with other characters. I've had it happen a few times whilst making other characters, but never with Surge.
About the Xtreme bug..
I have this problem with all the conversions that I have (Stepford Cuckoo, Dust, Northstar and Husk), that only hapen with the converted mods not the original mods by Dihan (Surge, Hellion, Rockslide).

Hey, I tried the Stepford Cuckoos mod. She's really cool but her extreme acts funny. I watched the video you made of all your mods and the other Cuckoos she summons move. I tried it and they stood there and didn't disappear afterwards. :carnage:
Make sure all files are in the right place.

Sidewinder: I think I know what the problem is. I've uploaded a newer version.
For one her Finisher did not trigger finishers of other characters for me.Does this really matter? It just means the other characters don't waste their Xtremes when everything is already dead.
Also her slowdown in the xtreme seems to be a bit too long (maybe 3 seconds after the animations are already finished)It's only about three seconds for me. This has no negative impact on the game at all.
More importantly her basic punch does not work.I fixed this in my most recent update.

downloaded the latest version and other than the grabsmash everythings seems to be fine. it does look exactly like black widow's except there is no interact_victim event going on.
this psylocke mod is unbelievable, this is how she should have been made in videogames !!!
but I'm experiencing a problem, I downloaded the latest ver and started a new game, everything seemed fine at first but now I've reached Mandarin's mission and whenever she's activating her psychic katana, it disappears and does no damage and no sound at all and when her xtreme is used, it slows down the game forever even without activating the katana so I had to quit the game..am I the only one who's facing this?
That's the correct one. That's what MUA2 Psylocke's grabsmash is. I just copied what it was directly from the MUA2 version. I don't really know enough about the interaction files to want to mess around with it.

Well due to my workload I'm unable to look at any of my mods again for a while. Nowhere Man may have fixed that along with a few other things. Also, I can't remember whether I used any power animations from Psylocke's idle skeleton or not so there may be some animations that don't play correctly, like the somersault kick.
I have fixed a few things:
the melee combos not breaking those blue force-fielded foes, the inability to break free of demon leapers, the grabsmash and lastly the jump landing, which took just a tad longer and didn't bother at all throughout the game, but made you unable to play the save-jean-arcade-game properly in muderworld.
