Title: When did Doctor Strange wear this costume in comics?
Post by: iammingy on March 27, 2007, 09:55PM
I was looking for some other costumes of Doctor Strange right here (http://jerome.galica.free.fr/marvel/Drstrange/drstrange.htm) and I found this costume:

I was like, "Um, Spawn? No." haha... Anyone know when did the Doctor wear it?
Other than the colors and the bottom edge of the cape, the style looks exactly like the Blue Mage costume:

In the late 80s-early 90s, I assume, because that outfit is listed in the Marvel Masterpieces set, and that one dealt only with the outfits that were 'current' at the time (including US Agent with a forcefield shield and the Punisher still wearing the 80s duds; not to mention Black Widow's still-gray outfit and Jeanie G wearing the 'classic' Jim Lee/TAS suit).
