I just realised that there isn't a poll for 'Best Character' for Legends 1. We have one for legends 2 but not legends 1. So I'm just curious now. Who in your opinion was the best character to play as in Legends 1? You only get ONE vote so use it wisely.

I loved using Iceman.

I'm not voting as I can't choose just one.  Iceman was awesome but was much more overpowered than everyone else, Gambit was my favorite overall, and I really loved Rogue for some reason.

HATED playing as Beast though.  They really didn't do him justice.

For me Emma and Jean were the best, Jean's powers are awesome and so powerfull, but Emma's melee combos and passives abilities (hardness, shell might)makes her the best in hand to hand combat. Yes, it's really hard to level her up but when you do it correctly, she's really strong.

Well, for me, Magma, Iceman and Emma frost.

Jubilee, Jean, Emma, and Wolverine.  I played as this team whenever I have the chance to considering the fact that on certain missions Jean could not be playable.

I'd have to say :phoenix:...she was the most powerful by far in my opinion

Defintally Jean Grey and Storm.

Jean was the best. She's my fav X-men and her telekinesis was really funny to use and much better than in XML2. Her psionic shout was also great.

Emma's terror and confuse were good too, combined with her diamond form she's really strong.

Jean, Emma, and Iceman were the best.

Jean (mental), Psylocke (mental), Cyclops (energy) and Rogue (physical and what ever pwoer she absorbs) where the best. They where always my team.

Colossus! CLAP! destroy the room.. the knockback from his attacks made like supersonic sounds..

They should of put Magma in xml2 instead of Sunfire..

Yeah or Pyro with Magma exclusive. Sunfire isn't very popular and I guess Magma isn't either which is why she wasn't included again. But I mean she is the main character of the first game. Pyro makes sense to add another Brotherhood character.

Well, I liked Sunfire in XML2 and Pyro didn't had anything in the game (I mean, he was like a fan created mod character).

no. he was an exlcusive character but simply a copy of Sunfire. I wish they have him some of his powers and animations from the first game. I usually keep Pyro in my roster and take Sunfire out cuz Sunfire isn't important to the team and I can imagine that after one mission he says he has  paid his debt and flies off back to Japan. Anyway Pyro is kind of an important Brotherhood member which is why I use him instead.

Iceman was by far the best in XML1.  All of the characters were cool, but Iceman was the most powerful.

Jean and Psylocke have something to say about that. granted many enemies were mental resistant though...

Magma was one of the most powerful characters in the game regardless of her rock throw power.  She was destined to be, super awesome. lol

Iceman was pretty powerful but I will argue about him being the most powerful. That would be Jean and Storm. I like how those three are the most powerful as Jean and Iceman are omega and Storm is believed to be omega but not announced.

I never knew that Iceman was an Omega leveled mutant.  Maybe its because if he does get pissed off, he will just freeze everything around him.

Yeah Sunfire was awesome always on my team. He's a very popular character. It would have been foolish if he was replaced by Pyro or Magma. Both those characters had absolutely nothing to do with Age Of Apocalypse. Sunfire had a substantial role. Best energy output character by far. Back on to legends 1 though, I started playing around with Beast a discovered he actually is a great character to use. Definitely an overlooked characetr. Jubilee TWO votes wow. I'm sooo speechless!

i think that wolvy was preety powerfull he did high damage and has that awsome healing factor,i dont realy get control on jean cause she has only levitation and the pink wave that doesnt to alot unless its preety ubgraded(sorry jean fans) but storm was preety powerfull and iceman two!

Replaying XML Jean still pawns everyone. Storm comes close and followed by magma as she is very powerful as I have realized. I would place Iceman next. Cyke, Beast, Wolvie, Nightcrawler, and Rogue can also be deadly but not as good as the ones above.

Sinceraly wolvy,beast,rogue showd be on the top of pwners when its to close range.

Haha I still remember how Colossus would toss him and I would think that I had a glitch in my game.  Now that's pure awesomeness

you mean the fastball special,that was something unexpected and epic the first time i did it acidentaly lol

the first time it happened to me with XML2 i was like "what the hell was that" lol

I was really suprised about that in XML. Then I realized it was the Fastball special. XML was good with teamwork

Jean and wolverine are super in xml1 (I love their powers ......)

For me the most powerful in xml 1 where Jean, Storm, Emma and Magma. But i really liked playing with the others too, like Jubilee and Colossus...

Mmmm.. I'd say Jean was the most powerful character in XML1, followed by Storm. Their shields were great and extremely useful, and Jean could deal lots of damage if leveled up properly.
Iceman, Wolverine and Psylocke were pretty powerful, too

Jean Grey was the most fun and powerful character in the game despite her weakness against mental resistant foes, her Psychic Scream has the largest AoE radius among all attacks and her passives made her ridiculously deals insane damage....Storm comes second followed by Colossus (his Legend Smash was really a Legend)

Sure is Jean, She is the best char. her clothes, her powers, anyway is all very good, also wolverine is a good char. too, but Jean Rocks!

I think it would be storm since later enemies resist jean's attacks and storm can kill enemies that are off screen.

Definatly Jean Grey, her powers were by far the superior, her abilities really helped me in the game, my team would always include her at some point, I would also say storm, wolverine, jubilee are also in the top three.

Replaying I found Colossus to be very effective as well.

Where do I begin lol.Jean and storm were usually on my team and they were really effective.There shields make you pratically invulerable. Wolvie was always on my team his attacks were just so powerful and his regeneration was cool too.Ms Frost was very awesome.her command was very useful to turn enemies agaisnt their commrades.Terror was fun and effective and I swap her in for jean.

Psylocke I found recently could beat sentinels just as easy as wolvirine.There's a item I think called sunfiresmask and it gives fire damage and if you give it to psylocke she becomes badass with her psychic knives.

Rogue I thought was very awesomr how she can steal powers and even when the enemy dies she can still use there powers and it causes a lot of damage.I wish rogue was like that with her power ttheft in xml2

For me it was defenitly Jean Grey. She has the most incredible powers i Liked her Psychic Scream a lot! and i still play the game and use Jean. but it's a shame that you can't use her in The ship where you have to save the crew before the ship sinks. and when the bad guys attack the X-Mansion

Nope, not the only one (even in XML2 i always used Nightcrawler, i just love teleporting, it's so much faster than flying, and sometimes it can be used well to run from enemies, i wish i could teleport)

Jean and Storm are top tier.

Though I voted for storm more fun to play with and enemies weren't resistant to her powers.

Still miss the true chain lighting from xml1, power and area destruction was great a far cry to the crippled version fromxml2 + onwards.

The 4 characters that work best for me as a group are:

1. Jean Grey  :phoenix: (What can i say that hasn't been said about her in game... as far as fun & powerful goes, Jean is the one imo)

2. Iceman  :iceman: (I think Drake is the second most powerful character in game after Jean... and i just luv the fact that he was finally
playable in a RPG)

3. Colossus  :colossus: (Underrated... H*ll Yeah! The KO kid kicked A** in this game. That Sonic Clap with extra knockback was tight &
his Siesmic Slam epic. Not to mention his lifting ability, although Rogue & Beast had it as well, it just seemed more fitting for him...
Heavy, Massive, Gigantic... this is what XML2 lacked among other things imo)

4. Nightcrawler  :nightcrawler: (What really made me like Kurt was his ability to teleport others... i never thought that would be in any
game period. His Agility antics (also missing from XML2) are pretty cool too & he's 1 of my favs)

 :emmafrost: In X-Men Legends Emma Frost is the best character, i love her powers they are really interesting and do well in a battle. I dream of playing as Emma in that game on ps2.

I love using Storm, Jean, Emma, Psylocke. I believe the girls are more powerful than the boys in Xmen legends except for Wolverine and cylops. :storm:
