Anyway someone on the MUAII forums said he talked to someone and his cousin apparentally works for Game Informer and revealed some news that I find false.
Emma Frost is a 360 Exclusive (if this is true I hope you have a 360 Whiteking) - I don't believe this cause even though I want Emma in the game I find it hard to believe that such a popular character will only be an exclusive. It isn't very fair so I don't believe it.
Cloak, Cable, Bishop, and Dagger will be DLC a month after the Games's release - I doubt DLC will be a month after the game's release. It doesn't make sense to me even if they have game models. They have to do everything else so I don't believe it. I'd love to play as Cloak, Cable, and Dagger although as I have said once before Bishop will be nothing but a wasted slot.
Cyclops and Beast are WII Exclusives - I doubt someone as popular like Cyclops will only be an exclusive. I can imagine Beast but not Cyclops. If this is true I'll be sad cause I have Wolverine, Jean, Emma but no Cyclops to complete their Love Circle. I really wanted Jean to be with Cyke.
Finallly Angel, Rogue, She-Hulk, and War Machine will be DLC around the holidays - I believe some of this only as Angel, Rogue, and She-Hulk all won a poll. But War Machine. Many will disagree with me like Teancum but War Machine isn't very popular in Marvel besides Iron Man comics. I expected Dr. Strange, Elektra, Psylocke, Silver Surfer, Spider-Woman, Scarlet Witch, Punisher, and Hawkeye. I mean it is one thing on a modder community where if somebody loves War Machine they will make a mod for him or after all the popular characters are done. I don't want to be biased but at the end of the day War Machine sin't very popular or well-known so this is a shocker. Others like Teancum may disagree but I still doubt he will be DLC.

But yeah, you're right. I smell a poo-pile here. Honestly as a developer myself I would say that Vicarious Visions isn't even certain who's going to be DLC yet - they're too focused on getting the game out.

guess is that DLC will be in packs --- X-Men (probably 2-4 of them), Avengers (2-4, possible other versions like West Coast), Villains, Loners (like Punisher).
My guess on DLC characters:

- Moon Knight

Not so sure about War Machine, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider although I may be biased about them. I would add Scarlet Witch, Psylocke, Cloak, Dagger, Moonstone, Bishop, Hawkeye, and Angel.
Don't really know how Cloak, Dagger and Moonstone are any more popular.

Lets think with the VV's head. They didn't reveal every character at the same time and they are revealing things for us, gamers in random periods. If I were one of them, then I wouldn't let anyone from the developing team to say anything about it. I doubt, that these information are 100% true.
Well this info is clearly false as News Lad has said that PS3 and 360 will have the same roster at all times (meaning exclusives and DLC will be the same for those 2 platforms). So the Emma thing is false.
News Lad has said that work on the DLC characters has only just begun so i doubt its even possible to get it out in October!
And for future reference: She-Hulk did not win a poll, the poll winners were: Emma Frost, Rogue, Angel and Carnage.
It is defiantly confirmed that the Xbox360 and the PS3 will have the same DLC? I ask because im thinking about buying a xbox 360 or a PS3 and haven't decided on which one. This game is a little factor on which one i buy
The PS3 and X-box 360 versions are the same, they have confirmed that both platforms will get the same content and DLC.
But purely for free online i would get the PS3 version.

Get an X-Box 360 because you have alot more exclusives with them, plus Micrsoft is buying out alot of Sony's Exculsives.
i saw that a few people would want Black Cat as a DLC, but i doubt they would pick her over more popular characters.

Actually I think they said 360 and PS3 only get DLC for this game. That is why WII may get more exclusives which the 360 and PS3 get for future DLC.
I've heard the Wii may get DLC too, but n-Space would have to answer that -- it certainly has the capability.
I doubt it as how would they get it besides a new game holding those characters.
Dude, the Wii supports DLC and has from day 1.
I still have huge doubts that the WII will get any DLC.

As to the questions asked about why the box was in stores early, if you had bothered to read my first locked thread you'd say that I stated it was an empty holder box put on the shelves so people can see it and pre-order the game. Most stores do this, it's nothing new. And why havent more people posted pics? Probably because a lot of the game buyers are completely unaware that a forum even exists to discuss it, much less that having exclusive content characters is a big deal.

You know what. I can tell you without a doubt that it is 100% NOT A FAKE. I just went to the Toys-R-Us that is less then a mile from where I work. They have the holder boxes for the 360, PS3, and the Wii. Oh what's that??? Why on the back of the Wii box I see Cyclops, Blade and Psylocke. Give me 5 minutes and i'll upload the pics and post the links. In the words of Kathy Griffin "Suck it unnamed deity that people choose to believe in even though there is no proof that you were anything other than a normal man!" ;-)

My thought is that they never really expected anyone that was active on the forums to be checking out the box. -OR- The marketing folks that designed the box art didnt talk to the devs running the website. Wouldnt be the first time.

Fairly certain it's Ms marvel. If you zoom in a bit you can see the long blond hair and the lightning bolt on her chest. You can even see the red sash around her waist.

With Rogue's thread locked I'll post here. A zoomed pic of "Nova" shows a large amount of green.
Rogue's costume that she is going to wear next month has green in the same area.
We know Cyclops is an exclusive so who completes double date but Rogue. She makes sense as the secret character.

Hawkeye at least throw arrows...
And just to let you know, Emma also has a diamond form which gives her might and resistances to almost everything, like the Thing or Luke Cage, and both are in with fusions and everything else, and her telepathic powers are far versatile than Jean's or Psylocke's, since Jean and Psylocke always has been mainly a telekinetic characters. Ok I'll give you the 1 and 2 pints but weak or uninteresting powers? I don't think so.
Yeah thats true about Angel.
For Emma I doubt the'll only make her diamond otherwise she is just gonna be a female Hulk or Cage. Do we want her ultimate version in the game that has no tp?
Also I see jean's tp more versatile than Emma's in my opinion.
Also for weak and uninteresting powers I mean stun or mind control as that wouldn't do damage. They said every power in the game will do damage so that crosses her out in my opinion.

Oh no I've never say that an only diamond Emma, since it's true it would be as She Hulk, but they can mix her telepathic powers with her diamond form and you will have a great character that has deffensive powers (tp) and offensive powers too (diamond)
Mind control and Stun also can deal damage, since one of her unique abilities is that she can deal pain (both mental and physical) in all of her attacks. The fact that they never explored that in XML games and even in her mods is another thing...
Jean's tp powers are more powerfull but more vesatile? No, you must read more, and you can see what I'm talking about...
She can't use tp in diamond form remember.

I'm sticking with my opinion about Jean. Remember in New X-men Emma and Jean explored Xavier's mind. Jean walked to the very edge across an ocean while Emma was behind being attacked. That also shows versatility of how Jean can cross more.
I'm trying to use facts here. The most thing she can be is NPC.
As much as I love Emma, I don't think she has a chance of being in the game...

You are not understanding what I'm trying to say... I don't say that she should use her tp powers even in her diamond form, because she can't, I know that, I say that she could have some tp powers and some powers that involve diamond form. Have you played with the Stepford Cuckoo mod? you may noticed that she has mixed powers, mostly like that.
And yes I remember that issue of New Xmen, and Emma was left beheind because she was distracted, my prove is the fact that only Emma could discover the self traumas of Cyclops, even he admited that only Emma could see that above Xavier and Jean...

About yous suggestiosn I see more potential on Emma and Hawkeye than Angel.
Yeah ur right about Angel but Hawkeye. His only fusions would be throwing arrows with Jean and Sue deflecting them some place else. Not much for him really.
But like I said tp is not a power that would be in for Emma as they don't like tp in this game which is partly why Jean's tp power got replaced.
So she wouldn't have a mix of powers only diamond.
Anyway I do think they could somehow work around Hawkeye's fusions. I heard he was inital but dropped after a few months
Yeah for me there is no chance, mean i dont know what does emma have with the CW storyline at and from what i know her fan base is smaller than some other more possibly ingame characters.

Actually this is a what if story. jean, Dd, thor, hulk, gambit were not in but in the game. And her fan base is very big but it doesn't seem like she will be in.
Angel wouldnt be too bad, just look at the XML2 or MUA mods, theres a lot they can do with a guy that just has wings. And if they have been reading X-Force, they can have him changing between regular Angel and killer Archangel.

As you say, she is alive and has a lot of spotlight and prescence in the comics, and she's becoming stronger in the media (wolverine and the x men, wolverine origins).
I'm sad for Sabretooth, he was one of the most interesting villains, maybe he will comeback someday, Marvel likes to kill/reborn their characters...

They said her phasing is too hard but if they see enough people wanting Kitty they'll try her by modifiying her phasing a little

Oh I really don't care. It is their opinion, and they may actually like her but they only say that to bug me cuz they know I like her.
I won't care much for Nova being in but I will wish for someone else in his place. Too me he will be like MUA1's Moon Knight an ok character in gameplay but a character I rarely use cuz I could care less about him.

I'm just glad Storm and Wolverine are in, I could live with, or without the rest.

I know, but it's fun. I mean, no offense, but marvelfan for me is like a funny cartoon enemy. Or something. Don't have any personal problems with her/him (because I don't even know her). But I don't know. Don't like her/him, because nowadays everything she/he says became true. Like the playables, so I hope that at the end, she/he is wrong about the Super Powered Last playable. It's like, she is a bit too many things in one.
Its not the power but the personality and the golden heart that makes her so great. Of course it is always great to know she could beat anyone in the Marvel Universe but still.

The only beings who overpower her is Living Tribunal and of course God. Besides that everyone else is beat.

Also Jean is the Phoenix. Same being now as that is and always was their destiny and she is omega-level and could do stuff the Phoenix could without it but that also may be cause they are one person and the same entity.
There is no Jean without Phoenix and no Phoenix without Jean because they are the same person so if for example someone wished that Phoenix would no longer exist neither would Jean cause Jean is Phoenix and Phoenix is Jean.
But, I'm happy that Iceman is in with such great and cool looks. :D Really, I like Iceman, because he is one heck of a guy!
Yeah he looks good.
I was getting bored of his normal Human-Shaped-Iceman, what was his normal skin. But this one is great. I will use him with Iron Fist, Deadpool and Venom.

Yeah, those four were great in MUA 1 and I will try them in MUA 2 aswell.
