Title: Spider-Man 3 on the Wii
Post by: aerophex on May 07, 2007, 08:50AM
Holy cow this is way too much fun.  I'm web swinging around NYC with Spider-man!  Woo Wii rocks!  I tried this game on PC but it was boring,  and I  mocked my buddies as they drooled over my wii version as they silently bad mouthed their 360s.  Who feels jipped now??

lol

if you own a wii, get this game for it.  The two were made for each other!!

glad u enjoy the game despite the random reviews it's been getting.  seems to be selling like hotcakes regardless

and just curious but what makes the Wii version superior.. is it the price or something else I'm missing?

web swinging on the wiimote and nunchuk.  Left hand right hand left hand right hand... zipping around new york.  Not required, but the game is a lot of fun standing up.  you really have to flick out the 'motes to get a good web line.  not just press a web button.  ooooo  its so much more interactive.  the game has a few problems, but they seem more game-related than console.  I see bugs and glitches here and there, but the good totally outweighs the bad.  People might complain about this or that being broken, but in the end this one is like MUA, not very hard just a whole lotta fun!!

just imagine a controller in each hand that is your web shooter...  wahoo!

wow i just started reading some of the reviews ... most of them bad.  I didn't play SM2 but I played most of 1 and found it fun.  I also find it hard to improve on such a concept.  Make it bigger, better, faster...  okay so they did that.  Most of the reviews are focusing on the companies that ported it to various consoles, but Activision was at the heart of the game.  It's flow is and similar enough to games like Prince of Persia and TMNT, plus many of the controls and interactivity found in M:UA.  So it's a nice blend of action and movement.  You can spend hours doing anything but the storyline helping people, gaining reputation, taking photos, taking back territory for the police.

It really sucks this game is getting trashed.  Like THX said, and from what I hear, it's selling fast.  In the end, this one is about fun.

It is a fun game, I've beaten it, tho the photos don't really have a purpose, have you ever had the problem of trying to execute an adrenline move and Spidey ignoring the command?

can't say that I have... though I haven't played a lot w/ adrenaline, I've been using the black suit a lot.  Yeah I was wondering about the photos, that sucks.  I'm not even half way through the story, I'm taking back territory for the police.

I tend to only use the black suit when I need it or fighting bosses

My favorite spidey suit is the Ben Reily suit (even tho it's not really Spider-man)
