In line of my other thread of favorite characters, I thought I could make a least favorite/weakest character of MUA.
Mine: Nick Fury, Luke Cage (ehh) :nfury: :pman:
depends, modded or unmodded? cause blade and elektra are the weakest IMO, but with mingy's booster and my booster they're pretty cool. jean from the xml2 pack is very weak too, but with all the modding alternatives she can be totally overpowered.
Where do I begin? HA!
Least favorite characters: Wolverine, Deadpool, Blade, Elektra, Spider-Woman, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, and Nick Fury
That's why I'm glad that we have the mods so I can eliminate all of these characters and add my favorite replacements!
In my opinion it would be Storm, Nick Fury, Thing, Invisible Woman and Colossus. They are either outclassed, have poor powers or just plain suck.
U kiddin? you must have a VERY different way of playing than me. Cause out of all the default characters I think Invisible Woman is the 2nd strongest and Storm is among the top 5.

I think for the most part its how you play the characters, level them up and equip them that makes them strong or weak. i always hear how elektra is so weak, but she's one of the strongest in my game. My weakest is Thor, and that's because i barely use him.

Same here, Elektra is one of my best too, even without a booster.
My weakest is Mr. Fantastic because I never use him.
but you guys are talking more in a "charater I like playing with the most" kinda way. but I'm not, I'm talking more about how effective a character is. I mean, I prefer several characters to Invisible Woman and Silver Surfer. Even b4 the booster I used Elektra a lot more than these 2. But I always thought that in terms of powerset Sue and SS are the strongest.

As the maker of this thread, I say that this thread can be a discussion of weakest characters....now, I do not mind if you feel that a character is actually a great powerplayer but weak due to bad costumes etc, just let it be said then.
Playstyle might just be the issue. For my Invisible woman just doesn't really suit my playstyle. I like characters who hit very hard and hit very fast in a small amount of time and being mobile during combat like Captian America, Hulk, Cyclops, Iron man and Thor. Then again I like to mix regular attacks with powers and these guys can do it with ease.
yup, I knew it was the playstyle. I myself am more patient and not necessarily use those "I'm gonna kill right not with one strike" kinda character. IW for example can turn invisible deal with each foe seperatly, use the bolts to stun and dmg them and, therefore, kill everybody in a reasonable amount of time without ever taking ANY dmg. But for a more straight forward player I suppose people like Captain America are indeed more suited.
Blade is a bad character.
Yes indeed its probably my straightforward approach to this game. I have little patience for invisible woman's sim mission since it takes ages to wipe out a room compared to cap or iron man. And blade did suck before the power fix and additions I thought he was worse than elektra and that's saying something, at least elektra's self buff didn't make her take more damage for the speed boost and she could kill things with sai stab and death's touch.
Definitely Storm. Elektra and Mr. Fantastic maybe too, but Storm suck.

Then again some characters in this game seem bad at first but have a way to become lethal if you distribute skill points and play them correctly. I remember thinking once that spider-man was lacking but then I found out his web shield could make him invincible and web warrior is free if he doesn't grapple something. As a result Spidey is one of the most reliable boss killers around. I also saw Mr fantastic as forgettable until I saw what fantastic fists can do for him.
hmm... im thinkn the weakest ones are Luke Cage :pman:, Spiderwoman :spiderwoman: , and Thor :thor:
My strongest are probably Invisible Woman :iwoman: , Ice Man :iceman: , Ms. Marvel :warbird: , and Human Torch :humant: :)
my weakest ones are Blade :blade: and Nick Fury :nfury: i might count mr fantastic too, but i rarely use him to decide that
Daredevil is the suckiest character to me no offense poet seems like your a big fan of him.
I think Cap is weak im sorry but I dislike him very much, Wolverine is ok I guess, same with Elektra, DD weak aswell, same with Luke Cage, and Nick Fury, but Storm is very powerful imo
agree that Storm is powerful, and since you began talking about DD i remembered to count him in my weak list too

too bad i had more characters that i like, so i barely played as storm. maybe i'll try her later :)
i think invisible woman is the weakest character yeah woman is a bad character!
The weakest character I have probably used is by far Nick Fury, I've found ways to use all the other characters and kill fast while having fun but Nick just doesn't cut it. Furious + Grappling Speed is the only thing I've found to allow him to do decent amount of damage. His SMG doesn't have the same properties as Deadpools or it would be useful and his Sniper just so-so.
Spider-man, Iceman, F4, iron man and ghost rider for me. If it takes between 6-10 hits to score a kill I'm switching to someone thats a little stronger. Iron man is great for strength, but the range on his standard attacks are piss poor.
In my opinion, I guess the weakest for me in MUA (original, no mods) would be Nick Fury,Ghost rider and Blade

Okay when you're talking about weak, do you mean weak as in not powerful or weak as in sucks..because I think some are confusing the two.
If I find a character too weak, I just look for a booster *shrugs* no shame in my game HAHA :P

For 'weak as not powerful', I choose : :iwoman:, and :silvers:
For 'weak as s*cks' (pardon me :D), I choose : :blade:, :elektra:, and :fantastic:

Elektra might be one of the weakest indeed :D At least she's fast >.> If it weren't for a booster that has been made, I hardly use elektra in my roster. Same with Blade, a team of doom bots surrounds you and you're life's cut into half before you know it. Blade needs some attacks that needs knockbacks I guess, to gain some advantage :scratchhead:
