Started drawing some marvel and I decided to make a topic here so I could share.
Here is Storm from the new x-men anime:

Wow both are amazing work! You should do the other anime characters as well like Wolverine, Beast, Jean, etc. to make a whole team.
Thanks :). I did these two today when I was not in class. I tried to find a good pic of jean to reference, and same with emma so I could do them also but I didn't see any yet. I'll probably do those and the others soon.
Cool. I'll post some of Jean in a moment. Don't know any for Emma (or Armor in case you may want her as well).
EDIT:

BTW do you just draw X-Men or other stuff as well?
Thanks for the pics. I knew that jeans wasn't as technical as the other's costumes so even if I hadn't found a pic, I porbably could've done it by memory, but since you posted those I won't have to do that so thanks.
I actually draw a lot. I love to draw. I've never drawn comic characters (DC or marvel) before and since today I drew some marvel, I decided to post. If you click the link in my signature, you'll see my deviantart, but I don't really post a lot of my drawings there. The only ones there, besides these 2 are shugo chara drawings. I usually draw anime type drawings, but I draw other stuff too.
Cool, I'll take a look, because from your sketches of Cyclops and Storm I can tell that you have some really great talent.
Thanks that means a lot. I really appreciate it. :)
Here's Emma and Armor ;)

Emma is not that hard, basically she and Jean has the same costumes than their comic counterparts with some new details ;)
Thanks for posting those pics whiteking. I think out of everyone, cyclops had the more technically challenging suit, mainly because of the layers, collar, and shoes. Hisako, Jean, and Emma should be the easiest ones.
The art work looks great, I love Storms head lol!
They're really nice, I really look forward for X-Men anime fanarts, since that kind of drawing style is definitely my thangg..XD
Good job!
Cool job! I'm very impressed! Can't wait for your next Artwork!
Thanks you guys.
Also @midnightphoenix123 lol glad you like storm's head

HA HA! Its the best head ever! :P
Here is my take on what the x-men, from the anime series would look like if they were chibitized (put in chibi form).
I couldn't wait to show you guys, so I had to upload. The quality is terrible, so later today, I will scan them, and then repost them. That way the quality is better.
Here is the order I did them in:
Storm, cycke, hisako, wolverine, beast, jean, and emma
Jean and Emma look terrible, since I had to use art from the actual show instead of the promo art, you know where they show the whole person, front, back, and side. Jean and Emma didn't have the promo art so I had to draw what I could more or less see.
For some reason to me the emma one looks like it's in the superhero squad style of art, I think it's because I drew her so tiny, compared to the others
BTW this is my first attempt EVER to draw Chibi.
They look great! Armor makes me think of a Minimate XD
Thanks :D
I'll probably scan the pic in a few minutes. That way you guys can see a higher quality pic.

Wow......don't know how a few minutes turned into 1 month, sorry guys.........
But I finally scanned it. Today will be a double feature.

lol I was trying to do her mouth forever it never looked right, either too big, too small, too high up, or too low down, etc., so I was like ok forget this and I just drew a line (lol), and I was like "oh, ok yeah that works."
Wow really good! I especially love the 2nd one! The background goes well with her expression and I love the shading on her hair and eyes.
Looks great! I love how nexts to Armor where it shows her armor its super tiny Lol :D
@marvelfan12345 Thanks :)
@midnightphoenix123 thanks. LOL the armor mini on the pic reminds me of like a kind of teddy bear type thing, like how shadowcat had a dragon stuffed animal in x-men evo that kind-of represented lockheed

Here's a drawing I did today. She is an original character I created called Aria. Based off an Idea I had about people that are the keepers of the forces of nature, such as wind, water, fire, earth, darkness, light, and energy. Aria is the keeper of the earth force. Anyway enough talk lol here is the pic:
She looks sweet!
Thanks midnightphoenix123! :)
Here is the second character in my series. Her name is Nala. She controls the force of water. I started this one about 2 hours after I posted the earth guardian, Aria. I just finished and posted it on my deviantart, so I thought I'd also post it on here.
Here she is:

There's something about your coloring that's really standout..I like it! :)
Thanks I really appreciate it. I've been trying to work on pairing colors like in the picture I did for Aria, her hair colors, are a mixture of different shades of green, browns, reds, and yellows which total to be about 10 different colors and shades. LOL I've been going crazy with color.
I've never really colored before, because I stink at coloring with colored pencils and other traditional media stuff because I can't blend (but I might be getting copic markers soon since they might be on sale where I live, and the are very good at blending so now I may be able to try traditional media coloring again), and I have like no sense of shading with light sources, but since I've figured out the correct settings to make my line art smooth on the computer, I've been using a computer program to draw and color with my tablet.
Also right now I'm working on the keeper of wind's force lol for those that want to know. Kind-of stuck though. Brain isn't being very creative right now :banghead:. I've got her shape drawn out. The face and hair are done, and they are colored in as well. Right now I'm trying to figure out what to give her, clothing wise. I want it to capture the breeziness and cool feeling from the wind with her style of clothing. But I guess I'll keep experimenting and see what I think works.
Wow my fav so far.
Fantastic! Love her!
WOW Great job as always 4elementsefww!

Lol I know what you mean. I kinda sucked with traditional coloring as well (coz there's too many white gaps to fill in & I'm super lazy) but with digital coloring..eveything just..comes to life lol :D

Maybe you could not give her clothes at all, and just have her hair cover her up! Being wind kind of means being free as wind does what ever it wants, just an idea tho lol
Wow, sorry for replying late, but life has kept me away for a little while. There was a death in my family, and family had to come down (family I haven't seen in a long time), so this past week has been crazy.
Anyways, Thanks you guys for the nice comments. You guys are awesome.
Also I finally got 4 copic markers, so I am very excited. Not that many though, but it is a start.
Also @nuhverah For me I can't blend very well with traditional media (colored pencils, paint, etc. hopefully though the copics I got with help with blending), so that was my problem, but I love digital because you can do multiple layers, you can, and this is a big one.........UNDO, or erase little things that you don't like, and with traditional media, you can't very well do that.
Also @midnightphoenix123. Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't feel very comfortable drawing that, plus I don't know if that would be considered inappropriate, and also the characters are like secret superheroes, that learn about their powers through strange ways, that then lead them to a mountain, were they are shown who they are and what they possess, so they are kind-of regular people. Also I just finished it today.
Here's Kami, guardian of wind/air's power.
Hope you guys like it.

Oh I like it. Reminds me of Aang and Katara.
Great job!!! i love it!
Interesting design indeed, & sorry for your loss :(
love the look of the word Air, reminded me so much of a rainbowy pen that I used to have :)
Sorry I haven't replied in a long time, but I just haven't really been coming on to the forum.
But @midnightphoenix123 LOL thanks.
@Marvelfan12345 Thanks. Lol well I wasn't really inspired by those characters, but I love that show, so I am happy that it reminded you of it somewhat.
@Rogue Thank you
@nuhverah Thanks for your comment. That's cool that it reminds you of that. I love using that effect for things LOL.
Also I saw blaw's contest, and I am posting it on here, because I actually drew the whole thing. My other Loadscreens are collage-like.
Here's the pic:

I love Avatar too, still haven't seen the film yet since I heard that it was really bad compared to the actual show.
Love the Mimic loadscreen and its amazing that you drew it yourself. Question though, but are the psychic effects also meant to resemble Wolverine's claws or did it just come out that way?

The mimic loadscreen looks great! I saw the very start of the movie and I dont like how its showing you everything the cartoon showed you, its like if I wanted to see this I would have just watched the show for free on TV!
Some things that people posted just reminded me of some memories I used to have so thank you for that :)
Btw, love your piece for the contest ^^
Pic's very nice! Love your power effects! It loook amazing!
@marvelfan12345 Thanks. The psychic/telekinetic effects, are supposed to be like telekinetic tendrales(IDK how to spell it LOL). The wolverine claws are in the clenched fist, but they are kindof hard to see. I saw the movie and it wasn't puke worthy or anything, but I didn't like the cast, and they pronounced aang Ong which annoyed me to death, and I am pretty sure they didn't even have the kyoshi warriors in it which I wasn't to happy about. But if the person hadn't watched the series, then I think they would like it, but I was a fan of the show, so I didn't really like how they did the movie. Also don't know if you know this but supposedly they are making a spin off series with like Aang and Katara's grand daughter or something like that.
@midnightphoenix Thanks, and I agree with you about how it would be better just to watch the series.
@nuhverah Thanks. I love it when certain things like seeing something, tasting something, or smelling something brings you right back to a good memory.
@rogue Thanks :)
Just thought I'd share a couple more recent drawings. They are of Emma Frost, Mystique, and Rogue. I was just doodling one day and the picture started looking like Emma and so I just made the person into Emma, and I liked the style of how she looked so I made mystique and rogue after that. They are good quality because I took a picture of the drawings on my webcam.
Here's Emma:

Also @Rogue, I had a feeling you would like the rogue drawing :)
Yeah, sure! :)
After a long break here is my latest addition to my Guardian Series that I did today. I think it is the best one ans of now because I really like the shading. Her name is Kira and she is Guardian of Light. Man I suck at drawing hands, but oh well it took forever to draw them, but I think they look ok though. Here is the Pic, hope you guys like it:

Thanks jamesrockfan :)
WoW! It's fantastic!!!
so cuute!<3
Thanks Rogue and Nuhverah :)
Hey everyone :)
I just finished my guardian of darkness and shadows from my guardians of nature forces series. Her name is Gem short for Gemini. BTW she can levitate herself and when she does she gets these glowy energy angel of darkness type wings that appear on her back, so that is what those wing shaped things are lol. Hope you all like it :)
Here is the pic:
oh my..that violet color & the pose...gorgeous! *_*
awesome!!! ^_^ Fantastic! ^_^
Thanks soo much Nuhverah and Rogue you guys are so Awesome :)
:D Those wings are amazing! I want those for a mod :D
Thanks and I hope to find a way to be able to make effects that move with the characters position one day that way I can make wings. I have an Idea based on an effect someone made.
Sounds great! ^_^
Hey Guys here is my latest addition to my guardians series. Here is keeper of the force Energy. She not only protects and uses energy, she also uses life energy. Her name is Elle and she also can transform into an energy state, which she is partially doing in the picture. Her eyes may look strange because they aren't normal but what it is is that when she uses her ability her eyes glow/turn turn completely blue, like how storm in the x-men movies, her eyes turned completely white. I really like how the hair turned out (going crazy because she is using her abilities), but I wasn't satisfied with the body. I kept redrawing it over and over but it wasn't that great to me but oh well.
Anyways here is the pic, hope you all like it :) :
I love it!
Love her & your ideology of "energy" <3
Thanks midnightphoenix123 :)
And Thanks nuhverah. yeah I thought that most people think of energy as electricity but I thought that it would be interesting if it included life energy, kind-of like the force of a person. Kind-of an emotional spectrum.
Great job! I adore your pics!
Thanks Rogue :)
I hope that you are able to start posting more of your drawings soon. I thought they were really good, and you have a lot of talent when it comes to drawing :)

Hey everyone just drew some marvel stuff these past few days and thought I'd share. Sorry that the pictures are large, but as alway you can view these pics where they fit the screen on my Deviantart account which is

Hope you all like these :)
Here is storm (her face looks terrible, i know, but I really love how the shading came out on her legs):

And lastly here's a pic of various Avengers. I really like how captain america and warbird came out (they are supposed to be stand behind eachother, kind-of cascading. Spiderwoman is in front with ironman and Capt. America behind her of her left and right, with She-hulk behind and to the left of ironman, and warbird/Ms. Marvel to the right behind Capt. America) I drew spiderwoman first, the she-hulk, then Ms. Marvel, then captain America, and last was Ironman:

Hey everyone just thought I'd share my latest picture/revision.
I decided to redraw my Emma Frost drawing. I decided to do it digitally just because I wanted to test a black and white level thing, so I used my old picture, so then I decided to draw and color a new one. So here it is with a side by side of the old version, with a little nightsky background I found on the internet. BTW I really messed up on the chest area but I forgot to fix it, oh well. Hope yall like it :)
Sorry to double post, but I just finished a redraw and coloring of my storm drawing that I had posted in this thread. I completely redrew the head and face, and I tweaked some other things. Also the background isn't mine. I found a couple of pics on google and I put them together. So here is storm with a side by side of the original that I drew.
Hope you like it :)
Storm looks awesome, so does Emma! Awesome job :)
Thanks!! :)
omg I love them! I love the backgrounds too, I think they compliment the characters well :D
WoW! Amazing job! I think it was hard, isn't it?
AWW thanks You guys!! :D
@nuhverah I thought the emma background wouldn't really match, but I liked how it looked with her.
@rogue Since I had already drawn the characters, I had to just trace over them and fix thing, like emma's head, her eye (if you notice one is majorly crooked in the original), her hands, and I slimmed down the bottom half of her thigh (I thought it would look more proportionate), and then I just had to color with didn't take long, except the making sure color doesn't go outside the lines. With storm, I got a little lazy with the coloring lol. I kept her original shading for the most part. I redrew her head and face, added the missing part of the shoe that got cut off from the original, fixed the hands somewhat, and tweaked the hair, and then I just had to completely the face with shading, but that was pretty much it. I found it fun looking back on old drawings (storm: 9-21-11, emma: around 7-1-11) and finding my mistakes, or things I didn't like, and redrawing them to hopefully see an improvement.
