Well this is my Modding Release thread! Everyone here should know not to sell, update, or release these without my permission, except selling which you shouldn't do at all no matter what! I love that attack also! I dont know whats up with the icons but its kind of annyoing XD. I love turning the speed boost on and then running and then while running I do her xtreme! XD Because she will keep moving threw the air while doing her xtreme lol I thought it was funny :P

Well up there is only 4 skins. The Classic which I want for sure. The Necorosha or how eveer you spell it for sure both the skin and blue skin. And then I just threw in the Watx and the other.

Ooh i know what it is the second pic on the right uses karma's psionic head for her sleep power so i think you probably have to download karma and install her textures.Because i downloaded vertigo and she uses karma's head effect (just recolored green)
Not to be rude and stuff, but that probally isnt the solution, I installed Karma as well and still had same texture problems, However it did not ruin my fun :), plus I kinda thought it was part of the mod, Vertigo's power being hard to make effects with and stuff
You didn't sound rude but when i played with vertigo i didn't have this problem with the sleeping effect.Im just saying he must have used karma's effects as a base and didn't either take karma's head effect out or missing a texture

Yay Im so glad everyone is liking it! Original TK Burst was supposed to be the Xtreme but I forgot what the effect was, and thats how the xtreme turned out how it did, by accident LOL so I just decided to leave TK Burst XD I wish she had a Mannequin also it would be perfect :)
And stay tunned everyone Selene should be getting released today as long as I can get a hud for her, and someone can compile my icons :D

No its a booster for Jean Grey which makes her play more like she would have before she had the Phoenix Force

One at her purple fire power (dr strange effect, didnt look at the name, srry :P)
And her I believe first boost
Other then that, AWESOME! I Love the Wrath of the Goddess effect, it looks great!
Selene should have a co-member of the Hellfire club soon :D

I had the same effect problems but unfourtantly I dont know how to fix it :/ Glad to hear she will have some Hellfire company soon!

No, in order to do that all the files and things would have to be changed from Phoenix to Rachel, but you can always throw some rachel skins on Jean and use it like that :)

Selene rockS!! ;) The only problems i found are 2 : Icons and Purple fire power
Solutions :
1) Icons : edit her talent file so that in every power change everything from selene_icons1.igb
to selene_icons.igb
2) Purple Fire : It seems that you edited the xmlb effect file, and recoloured everything including the glow of
the fire, that needs to be white (because it's a glow texture :P ).....BTW fire powers can't be
recoloured because their textures are not white ( like every effect ) , they are already red, so
you have to skin-edit the texture to make it purple :(
I have to say i like the huge purple thing that appears, even if it's wrong , because it looks like a dark power, so i left it as it is and i re-named it to ''Veil of Fire and Death''
Hallejujah here is some selene fixes Rename selene_icons to selene_icons1 (to show in char select) then copy that & rename that to selene_icons (to show in game) & place them both in textures/ui
in the talent file change @SKILLTYPES@XTREME (i think) to Xtreme
not sure about effects as they work for me
also im quite sure this is not right for power 1

Sorry to bump up this post since the last time it was written in was exactly a year ago give or take a few days....did you ever do those fixes for the selene mod? I always found she was an underrated character and was ecstatic when i found her on here.
No I am sorry I never really got the time to fix her yet. School has been keeping me really busy. But I will keep this in mind and I will try to fix her if I get the chance, although It is a long ways away once summer vacation rolls around I may try and get back into modding and I could try and fix her up then.
Oh that's ok, no rush or anything :) I kind of had a problem trying to install her anyway, seems she shares character number with a certain maddie pryor mod so I decided against it. She looks great though :)

Yeah If I can I will try and change her number aswell, I love Maddie and I know I am not a fantastic modder, so I know that she is probably better then my Selene mod haha.

Well since I havent tried her, i can't say if she is. I'm sure though, should there be any probs, the people here will let you know. Seems to be a community thing when a new mod is made here, so everyone has insightful input or suggestions ( from what i've read). Which is a cool thing in this forum, I find. But once you have worked on her some and changed those numbers, I'll def try her out :)

Good day. I understand the last post on this was over 120 days ago, and I should really consider posting to this- but I have to take the time out to say that I love your mods! I mean, Jill Valentine? That's amazing! It gives me a whole new way to love MUA... and the Alice and Claire mods really look top notch.
I just wanted to take the time, if you are still around, to thank you for taking the time to do these. They are amazing, and I wish you nothing but success in all you do, 'cos you are very talented! Again, sorry to bump! Just wanted to thank you for all that you've done! My MUA experience is 100x better than it was before because of your creations!

Selene is awesome to play, but is she supposed to have a voice? Im not sure if its because I over=wrote the goblin queen with her, but she doesn't have one. I re overwrote goblin queen with selene, and still no voice. If its by design, nevermind!

Thank you :) The Outsider also made a booster for her if you want to check it out! I honestly can't remember if she is supposed to have a voice, if she is it would be another character's voice from the game, or just random noises and grunts for fighting and such.
Ok, so maybe the voice is just on purpose then. Is there any way I can add someone else's voice, like Enchantress to her? If its super difficult, nevermind, hehe.

Well you could, but you would have to go in and edit the files and make it so they know the correct folder to get the voice files from using XMLB.

I know how to do it to edit herostats.. Is it the same way except for sound files? I tried just inserting the enchantress files and naming them after selene, but it didn't work. XD
EDIT- Huh. That's weird. Selene isn't showing up in my herostat.engb. I've done all my editing using .cfg, but she's the only one that doesn't show up in .engb. When I try to add her, and save and recompile, it doesn't stick. If I decompile again, she disappears again. Dunno if this is related to the sound issue though.

I don't think it is related. That has happened to me before. I always take the .engb file and copy and paste it onto my desktop it seems to work better for me that way.
I can't remember all the files you have to alter for sounds, it's been awhile since I last did any of that stuff :P

I don't think you are the only one who had those issues.
