This uses a new fightstyle not in the game, so you must start a new game from default.

also, did you read my Jubilee skin thread?  I have the .bmp file available for download of a 90's version Jubilee using the female lab tech mesh... a good detailed version, but since I don't have a working muaskinner, I can't compile it into the igb file.  You can use that skin if you want for the mod.

also, is it possible for me to edit Jubilee's power icon pictures?  If so, I'll go into paint.net and whip up some cool power icons for you if you would convert the file back to igb format for me.

I will be uploading an update soon that will give magma, jubilee, and angel loadscreens and comics.  Just thought that now there is a mod for 2/3 of them, might as well make them.

By the way both mods look great!

well... I can play as Jubilee in the Danger Room, but when I start a new game or load one and try to select her, the game turns off... any suggestions?

a fart! is anyone else having this problem? it didnt crash my game, so i dont know what the problem may be. i know my save games use to crash but thats becasue my save games were so confused.  I dont know what it could be.

maybe its the hero stat file?  am I supposed to enter it in as a new entry between ironman and juggernaut, or do I replace a hero?

oh ok, your save games wont work if you just add her and she is your 21st character. Unless you previously had a 21 characters. If not u will have to replace someone, and your saves games should work.

cool mod. the only porblems i can think of is that the shield xtreme makes it hard to see when the characters are close together and i didn't see any 3-D heads or character select portraits in the file

3d head is in the "HUD" folder and character select is in "Menu Portrait".  Yeah i agree about the xtreme shield, i couldnt see sh*t either, lol. i'll fix that later.  So it didnt crash your game?

i guess it doesnt work, sorry guys. i dont know why its crashing, it didnt crash my game.  let me look at it again. Have you guys tried replacing someone else? for me if i replace someone i had never replaced, Scarlet Witch and it worked find.

ok for those that had crashing problems please replace the XMLB's for talent and powerstyle, the other ones had problems. Let me know if this fixes it, if not i'll keep looking.

Im also working on the PAF shield and one other power that doesnt look too good, i might just get a new effect for the PAF shield, the one it currently has makes it hard to see.

i'll fix up everything today and release it tommorow, that may actually be a reason that it crashes some games (well i hope that is).  The npc works great, you guys can use that one for now.

sorry for the posting rampage, but heres a fix for Emma and Jubilee closing the game.

just replace on entities, talents, and powerstyle. Let me know if after this fix your game still crashes.  I tried it on mine and she works fine with Emma, Storm, and Iron Man, all who's powers i used to improve on Jubilee. If it doesnt im just declaring this mod broken.

edit: this should fix any crashing problems not related to save games, it definetly is not broken as non of my save games crash, and two previously did. the problem was that the same power names, conflicted with other characters causing the game to crash.

ok hold on, i forgot to the passives so Gambit and her should not conflict, here is the new talents

when new icons or skins come along i'll close this thread and start a new one with all the fix things inside of it.

edit: i can confirm that the mod works, theres no conflicts and should not crash your game. if your game crashes it could be your save game.  download and enjoy, and sorry for all the previous problems.

ok found a mistake in powerstyle, fixed it and now rapid globols shoots two fireworks when held down, doesnt look so slow now.

Jubilee teleports?  Also it takes a while to add extra abilities and to reference them everywhere.  If nodoubt wants to do it, it will be done in the future I am sure.  If you are talking about animations that is even more complicated because I believe it is all hexing.

Jubilee doesn't teleport.

She's a gymnast and does flips- closest thing to teleporting she's done is hopping through Gateway's portal several times and going to the Shi'ar galaxy through a portal. 

her current abilities are super strength... which supposedly is comparable to Beast or Spiderman's lifting capabilities.

lol, yeah i got what you meant, because why would i ask Burning Rage if i could edit my mod.  The thing about these XML1 characters is that there skeletons have such few animations. usually theres 2 attacks, one for boost, and one for Xtreme. So every attack kind of will look the same, thats why a started using shared animations. Im going to start working on adding more powers to Teancums Beast mod now, and then i'll take a look at Psylocke and see what powers i can add.

Psylocke is pretty complete, the mod is great, all she really needs is maybe three new attacks. a Telekinetic attack, a sword attack, and a third one, maybe a super kick, something that will damage things that dont have minds (robots/sentinels).  Xtreme and Boost wise, she is complete.

Intensity did some changes to the mod and he and I wanted to share them with you guys

Pep Rally/Taunt- changed the power description.
Mental Plasmoid- changed the power description and animation.
Pep Rally- changed the animation to a dive roll.
Decimation- removed the sparkle effects.
Detonation- changed name to Molecular Detonation and changed power description.
Scorching Blast- Changed name to Scorching Sparkles.
Rapid Globules- changed the start effect to her confusion sparkles around her hands, changed the speed to be exactly as fast as Ironman's power.

Okay first - superlative work, guys!

Second, having had a fair crack now (start to Lady Deathstrike), I have noticed the following. Bear in mind that it might be something at my end, since I'm not very used to doing this sort of thing!

Despite apparently following the instructions in the readme (i.e. copying the 15101.IGB from the Menu Portait folder from the zip (as opposed to the 15101.igb in the HUD folder) to the XML2\UI\models\characters\ folder, I don't appear to have a selection picture in the team setup screen.

Second, the Energy Blasts are coming out a bit odd - the trails appear to be coming out sideways; perpendicular to the line of flight - to the right, I think - not in line. (They don't appear to be making any noise, but I gather editing sound is not possible at this stage).

Other than that (and the fact that when I tried hex-modifying my older saves game and it crashed flat out every time) it has been running as smoothly as you like!



Is there, by any chance, a Jubilee mod as good as this from Ultimate Alliance yet?

Just as a suggestion - for total idiots like me - it might not be a bad idea to stick a note to that effect in the readme when/if you next update the Jubilee rar.

Fair enough. Like I said, I'm new at this so I've only got a vague idea what's possible. I always report anything that looks like potential bugs/glitches as technical feedback on principle (so as to hopefully help the developers!)

Rapid globules isn't working at all. I've tried the fix (and the insensity mods); neither seems to be working. She's making a movement when the button is pressed, but nothing's coing out and no energy in being expended.

Anu suggestions?

hold it down, the animation is a little weird so theres a delay. Its like Iron Man's Rapid move, hold it down and they will start comming out.  Thanks, comments that help are always good.

Interesting. I could get it work on the Keyboard once you told me that, but it didn't seem to want to work on my joystick. I had a play with my joystick mapped commands (since I've had lots of trouble in the past mapping both XML and MUA's commands in game) and with a bit of tweaking (i.e. recording the command to be press '5' and 'E', rather than press and release), I got it working now! Beautiful!

no the trail is suppose to be behind it, instead of too the side. I still havent found a fix for that, sorry.  At first i thought it was just the effect, but its not.

I need some help. I spend all night trying to "run" this mod. First time I copy the files, there was no Jubilee, and the power effect of all characters were lost. I reinstall the game. I decided to read more. It seems the game's limit 21 characters, so I decided to replace Pyro. Eventualy i successfully modify the herostat files and copy mods files. I launched new game and the only thing successfuly done is to erase Pyro and make fouth "questioned mark" character field. Also the Read Me file says: 3D HUD Model: XML2\UI\hud\characters\xxxx.IGB I couldn't find 3D HUD Model. And by the way what "xxxx" represent? So can somebody help me?

P.S. I realy sorry for the bad english, but first - I haven't slept for ~28 hours and english is not my native language.

3d hud model is the hud folder. the xxxx is just so that that info could just be used in general so the xxxx doesnt really mean anything, it just represents her name and numbers.

Well here I am, again with failure. I reinstall the game and folowed every single step. This time I decided to replace Bishop. Well rather than before, this time happends nothing. I change herostats(which I supposed will make Bishop at least unplayable), but Bishop was still there. Should I remove files or something?

are you correctly recompiling herostats.engb?

1.  Open the program, and select File, DeCompile.  Find herostat.engb.
2.  Select File, Edit.  You should see herostat.xml.
3.  Open the herostat.txt in the mod, and copy all information in it.
4.  Paste all information from Jubilee's text file into herostat.xml.  Save herostat.xml.
5.  Select File, Compile.  IMPORTANT!  Make sure you compile it back as herostat.ENGB, NOT XMLB.  Close herostat.xml and Jubilee's herostat ENGB.txt.
6.  Run game

no it doesnt matter if both are modified, but the engb must be modified for it to work.

I can't believe it! Well first thins first. It seems I haven't modify .engb after the reinstall. Now I have. But the only effect is that there is fourth empty space(question marked). No Jubilee at all. I am gratefull of your patience and nerve, but I'm loosing every hope of ever playing with Jubilee :( Those screens really take my mind. However GREAT JOB! Keep it that way :thumbsup2:

Well, playing with this "rename-and-replace-files", I used DeathHands energy shot and replaced for Jubilee's energy globules (special_cardtrail). I doesn't crash when both characters (Jubilee and Death Hand) are together in the same scene.
I liked it, and I hope you guys like as well...

hi guys. i downloaded the fixed version of jubilee and i have a couple of problems.
there are no power effects in the game. the powers work but you cant see them.
in the area where you place points for powers (dont know what its called) the icons show as neon blurs. lastly there is only space for one point per power. i have 60 character points that i cannot use. what should i do?

right now she will be all mutant, the only reference to Wondra is her Decimation boost. Right now the only changes planned are animation wise, a new fightstyle, with some of Invisible Womans moves. Im getting rid of "Mental Plasmoid" for another move, havent decided to what and maybe add another attack. And of course a sound update.

i gotta finish up some mods and then i'll start on her update.

ok im going to start updating Jubilee along with Beast (cannonball has been pushed back for now).  Like i said above, Invisible Woman is her second skeleton.  Maybe changing some of the animations around and powers.  Maybe different effects for some powers.

ok started updating Jubilee.  So far ive redone a lot of the talents file, got rid of "Mental Plasmoid" and "Decimation", and im splitting her xml1 boost, into two different boost "Bait" and "Pep Rally" since, basically the way its set up now it taunts her enemies, reduces their defenses, while at the same time, reducing her the damage her allies take and increasing their speed.  So far invisible woman is looking good, just need to add more attacks to the fightstyle.

the only skin i think she is missing is this one (x-corps to me is not that important to spend time working on it, and Wondra doesnt fit with this mod)

thanks guys.  she is almost done, just need a new 3d head and a fixed up fightstyle and she will released.  Also i added another power, Exploding Paf or something like that, she throws a firework, and when it hits it explodes.

Notes: Complete mod with a new fightstyle.  Since she uses a new fightstyle, you will have to start a new game from default, if you dont she wont have access to her second skeleton, and some of her power animations will not be correct and it will look wrong. A lot better then previous version, try it out.

for the talents i usually use an official characters talents to guide me on when they should unlock.

and yes that is a xml1 map, the map igbs from the ps2/xbox work in xml2.  so all i did was set up the map engbs so that they would be like the ones in xml2.

Has anyone noticed that the energy blast isn't working quite the way it should?

The damage per globule is infact the damage per character that gets hit by the globule (i.e. attack someone at close range with multiple globules and it will only show the damage done by one globule).  Is this fixable?

Excellent mod though - much prefer her here to XML1!

I think the only reason I notice the difference is because in XML1 Jubilee could do some serious energy damage up close - but that's not the case here.  At least she has loads of other powers to make up for this though (and the effects look awsome I should add)!

the code for that power is taken directly from XML1, so I'm guessing XML2 handles the multiple damage differently from XML1

I'd like to ask a favor from u nodoubt_jr.. Last when u fixed Jubilee's Energy blast u just gave a link to just replace with an old file in effects.. So likewise i hope u can give me a link just only for Exploding Pafs so that I can have the update one.. U see I am still interested in some old powers effects in the preview version of Jubilee.. So if I install your new version I'd wont be able to play with old power effects that I like.. So can u please upload a link..  :jubilee:
