Hi guys, I did this small patch for me and everybody who wants all the exclusive features from the 360/PS3 version (except DLC, obviously).
It features :moonk: and :colossus: both with their corresponding load screens, item sets, mannequins and voices. Also features 5 new simulator missions.
The only issue I've found is the Black Widow's mannequin clipping a bit with the Moon Knight one. I will not fix this because in order to do it, I need to change the stage and all the character positions, but if you find another problem, please, post it here.
I want to thank Teancum for all his help.
UPDATE: I've uploaded an updated version of the game settings save from GameFAQs. Now it has all the alt. costumes of Moon Knight and Colossus unlocked, so you now can start a new game with every character and costume unlocked.

Great to see another PSP modder. Great work!
:| Any preview from via PPSSPP on the character select screen?
I didn't start the game yet on that software since my old PSP is now broken & now i'm very busy for finale exam at early March next month

Same as vanilla but with Moon Knight slot fixed.
X_X shoot, i can't open UMDGen at Windows 8
*stickied
100% works + a bit of final version & the umdgen solution solve as well. :( but i still have no idea what was pmf for?
Bout BW is like stabbing MK on the back, it's always like that right? Speaking of that, i wonder why review path menu won't show changes except when enter some of the screen files (loadscreen for example)?
I can't wait see either current version of this patch (which probably only includes MK's 4th skin (w/out iammingy boost) & Hawk's 360 style animations and power sets (maybe also includes missing sound sets like Thor's Xtreme, Colossus & Storm, & most of all, Cap. Marvel & BW's X_Voice breaks & X-Men callouts, but i dunno if Mr. Fantastic has a missing sounds), if possibly in progress) or TC's Platinum Edition.
Uploaded a game settings save with everything unlocked. Info on first post.
I'm trying to install this mod, and I understand the first two steps, but this one trips me up: "Mount the ISO in UMDGen with the new "assetsfb.wad" and add also the "sounds" folder from this ZIP to "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\"."
What is UMDGen?
A program to mod your PSP ISO
I downloaded UMDGen, it works fine, now my problem is that I can't find a singe program to extract WAD files. I've gone through at least 7, including WinRAR and 7Zip. I'm using Windows 10 if that helps.
You can open ISO in WinRar to extract WAD. WAD is a rar format
I got that to work, I don't know why it didn't previously, but now, whenever I try to open assetsfb.wad in UMDGen, it says that it isn't a recognized image and that it can try to open it but it won't work. If I click yes, it crashes. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong, so how do I do it correctly?
And please forgive me for my constant questions, this is my first time modding this game, and I really don't know much on how to do it.
that file is opened by winrar or some sort of rar or zip opener
UMDGEN can only drag files & save into a modded PSP ISO. Like i & Kingadam said, .wad file can only be opened in WinRar program, but once it extracted from ISO file with that rar program

I already did that. I'm trying to compile it in UMDGen and it's not working.

So how would I do that?
If you have Marvel Ultimate Alliance PSP iso, you have to set it in WinRar to extract the wad file from the z folder
> wad file can be opened in rar program
> extract the modded files on wad
> Open UMDGen & original MUA ISO to drag wad file & sound files
> Save as ISO, but not in a same folder, it won't work on rewritting to new ISO in a same folder, you must save it on a different folder

Thanks. I'll try it and report back.

I'm stuck again. Sorry for my lack of technical know-how. Here's what I did: Extracted assetsfb.wad from the Ultimate Alliance ISO with WinRAR. Next, I added the mod
files, the ones that the readme document told me to use, to the assetsfb.wab using WinRAR. Next, I opened up UMDGen. I opened Ultimate Alliance ISO in UMDGen. I dragged the new assetsfb.wab as well as the sounds file into UMDGen. I saved it to a different folder. I booted up PPSSPP, started the game, all went well, loaded my game, went to the character screen, but they weren't there. I then went back to the menu, started a new game, rushed to the first extraction point, and they still weren't there. Do you see anything wrong with my process?
Is the mooded files is dragged into its main directory folder on wad? like herostats, team_psp, etc.?

I got it to work! WOO HOO!
Hi sorry for asking if this is the wrong thread.. but i'm searching for this info with no avail.. i found your mod link from steam forums, so even a little shed of light is appreciated..
how can we do this in the original PC version (not re-release)
i mean what files do we need from the official chars mod (pc) to include only :colossus: :moonk: & 5 comic book missions that present on PS3/XBOX360/WII..
and speaking of the comic book missions, is the 5 next gen exclusive missions even included in official characters mod for pc...?
try learn go to my knowledge base about fb tutorials. The description is on one of my release in this section.
BTW, for original PC edition, i would suggest you to go download XMLBCUI decompiler to compile the likes of engb/itab/xmlb/pkgb.
herostat (mainly engb) is for the heroes you want to pick max 27
New link provided. Thankfully Jayglass had a backup. It may take 24-48 hours for ModDB staff to approve the download, but then it will be live.
