Thanks for the report. I have not heard this issue before since it came out, so it's possible there is a workaround, but I'll look into this.

We got through it by portaling and loading the save until we made it through.

We've coasted through the entire early game with no deaths, some close calls when we got lazy but no deaths however Hulk destroys us consistently, we haven't been able to beat him yet, even following the advice of attacking him and not letting up doesn't work, he just blocks all of our attacks and our whole squad gets wiped out within 60 seconds, pretty negative experience to encounter so early in the game.

EDIT: Beat him with godmode enabled, kinda leads me to believe he's OP...We disabled godmode right after beating him and MODOK was a joke in comparison.

Well, the Hulk is supposed to be hard -- that's kinda the point. I'll consider making him easier, but I may not because some people seem to enjoy that he's hard to beat. They eventually do beat him, but they like that it's a challenge.

It has come to my attention that the 50 Roster Hack in combination with the EXG can cause some glitches in the game, depending on your roster. No issues were found when the EXG is in combination with the 36 Roster Hack or with just the OCP. I have placed this warning twice at the release post.

Any specific issues people are running into for me to look out for? Anything that is readily/easily testable? Haven't had an issue so far, but would like to figure it out sooner than later if I can stress test it in some way ;)

Just some repeat conversations that should only happen once, or some doors that don't open when they're supposed to -- particularly at the last stage, Castle Doom. However, not everyone sees these issues.


The mod worked fine on my end. I'm only using the 36 roster hack, OCP, and a few character/boost mods with it on MO2. Only thing I have to say is that some of the new areas tank my FPS, especially the X-mansion and Asteroid M, and I'm running an Nvidia RTX 4070 with 64GB of RAM.

I looked back at your other note about some OCP conversations not being compatible with the EXG mod. But which conversations  from :stark: :warbird: IronMan4x-MsMarvel are actually compatible and which ones are not?

Those stages may be slower due to the amount of objects in the stages -- particularly the X-Mansion (not the sub-basement).

The "asgard3" and "skrull3" ones may be alright. Basically, stay away from any that change the maps, as those will clash with EXG maps and are therefore incompatible.

Everyone, the Expanded Game (EXG) has been updated to 1.3, with numerous quality fixes and changes.

- New York City: Replaced Bullseye's 2nd fight with Electro, who has special conversations with Spider-Man or Punisher. Added data files and updated mission's package files & sounds to suit changes; Updated Fisk Soldier's sounds & voice to new ones; Added "wp_fisksoldier_gun" weapon file; Updated Police Officer's skin, HUD, and package file.
- Astral Plane: Added HUDs for enemies; Fixed Astral Ghost's idle stance; Objects are more throwable; Orbs of Darkness now gain heroes 4 skill points; Fixed Astral Fiend's fireball impact.
- Time Warp: Improved Earth and tile textures at Asteroid M; Magneto heals at a slightly slower rate slower when under forcefield.
- Latveria: Made most objects in Prison Compound throwable and damageable. Fixed spelling error in conversations, and added detail about damaged warship.
- X-Mansion: Now officially within Act 1; Conversations don't repeat after the first visit; Sentinels are now mental resistant.
- Mephisto's Realm: Added Zarathos as a new boss fight, who has a special conversation with Ghost Rider; Blackheart now has physical resistance.
- Omega Base: At the Logistics Facility (Omega Base), there will be a 5 second delay before the trap door closes, allowing all player characters time to get inside.; The Hulk heals at a slower rate; Will get a Game Over screen if you accidently kill him.
- Murderworld: Swordsman will have more health and will take longer to beat.
- Castle Doom: Condensed objectives in Castle Doom and Doomstark Tower. May have fixed the "Protection from Doom" issue.
- Simulator: Fixed issues with Black Panther's and Spider-Man's sim missions; Now have Marvel Ultimate Alliance logo in objectives; Added an altered Spider-Man sim in "xtras" where you automatically save Dum Dum Dugan.
- Overall: Reduced gameflag use in all EXG missions; Updated "Realism" NPCstat file.

Please delete the following from your game, as they're now useless:
maps/act5/xmen (folder)
packages/generated/maps/act5/xmen (folder)
conversations/act5/xmen (folder)
scripts/act5/xmen (folder)
data/missions/act5_xmen
scripts/sim/omega1/no_banner.py


Everyone, there was an unintentional bug with Lilandra that was discovered, so the Expanded Game (EXG) has been updated once more to fix that, as well as some smaller fixes. Please update with this BEFORE playing. My apologies on not noticing that bug.


The Expanded Game (EXG) has been updated. In light of recent research, the simulator missions have been restored to their original locations.

As a result of this, take note of the following files that were deleted from the EXG. Use the following files from either the OCP or your unedited game -- which means the OCP didn't alter it.
maps/sim/sim_heli1.engb (use OCP)
maps/sim/sim_omega2.engb (use original)
maps/sim/sim_omega4.engb (use original)
maps/sim/simchars/cmspiderman.engb (use original)
scripts/sim/omega3/showhulk.py (use OCP)
packages/generated/maps/sim/sim_omega2.pkgb (use original)

This is only a small update, as I'm working on adding some big additions. As usual, boys and girls, stay tuned... :king: (evil laugh)
