Alternate Skin Downloads

[BliZZ]

These are different from the skins that you see released by skinners and meshers. These are specifically designed as alternates to the character in question. Each of these downloads includes

a) the skin in question
b) an hud_head for the skin
c) packages set up for you

Installing is very easy. First, unzip the rar to your MUA directory. Then, if you want to replace Iron Man's 3rd armor with his Heroes Return armor (for example), simply change this portion of his herostat:

You can also add these costumes in the fifth and sixth slots (see below), but keep in mind they will get no passives if you do so. Either way, I hope these simple packages are user-friendly (I tried to make them be )

To add skins to a hero, find your hero's entry in the herostat, then add these lines below skin_04_name

Great idea!  I wonder if it's worth mentioning skin_05 and skin_06?  If I can get the UnlockCharacter script to work right so that it'll unlock specific costumes then it'd make life easier.

PS: Iron Man fans- what is the name of his third XML2 skin? Not the War Machine skin and not the Heroes Return skin, the other one. I think it is different from his base MUA skin, but I'm no Stark expert.

It's same as the Modern/New Avengers Armor in MUA. It's just lower-poly. The PS2 MUA version of this armor is identical to the PS2 XML2 version of the skin you mentioned.

EDIT: However, I noticed that there are tiny flaws in the MUA PS2 version. There are small red dots, similar to those red XML2 bolton outline, on his boots.

Oh, Ok. It looks like it has bigger shoulder pads, but that is probably the different camera angles between MUA and XML2.
