DLC choices are nice. Magneto would most likely be Anti. I'm pretty sure that while he hates humans he would have respect for Cap and would never side with the government.

Actually I didn't think of that. But as Anti it would also be a war, he wouldn't have to work with the government, most likely would be on Xavier's side, and on the side with more mutants

Yeah. The Magneto "hero" would tend to fight alongside Cap. The "villain" aspect of the character could act the way I imagined.

Carnage's alt is visible in Venom's signature TC.

It makes me think that VV is doing specific alt costumes to impress people of their graphical qualities instead of keeping it theme-based (like secret war). Psylocke's alt is full of details. Which is cool btw..
