PSP Gameplay Question

Hi All,

I am wondering, is it possible to play as one hero against another hero in single player mode on the PSP version of this game?  If so, what would I do?  For example, I want to take Blade against Captain America...  Is this even possible?

They took that feature out of Ultimate Alliance.  You can't play VS.
