 :thor:  VS  :silvers:

Ok, that's the big question! They're probably the two most powerful superheroes of Marvel Comics nowadays.

It's the ultimate battle between the Power Cosmic and Magic.

Just to be clear it's the current versions of both characters. Remember Thor is more powerful than ever with Thorforce (a less powerful version of Odinforce), knowledge of the runes (which grants him vast knowledge of magic and spells) and is beggining to explore his earth manipulating powers that come from his mother. Silver Surfer is also more powerful than ever since during Annihilation he has received a power upgrade and willpower upgrade from Galactus himself.

Let's say that Beyonder took them both to Siege Perilous (a dimension that consists of an empty wasteland) to fight to the death for his amusement.

Let's also disconsider Warriors Madness and the Godlike State since both happened just once it would be hard to compare.

If you don't know the exact powers of these characters click on the links below:

This poll will end in 14 days.

"Beneath this mask there are ideals and ideals are bulletproof."

Out of those two I believe the silver surfer but thats most likely cause I know more about Surfer and that he also got his powers from Galactus.
But I like Cosmic Carnage better then the both :P

Thor, for a few reasons. Taken from the website link:
QuoteHe has been seen to be capable of overcoming an enraged Banner less Hulk, defeating and knocking out the Hulk on a number of occasions, nearly rendering the Juggernaut unconscious after negating the empowered humans mystical defenses, stalemating and even overcoming the Silver Surfer in past occasions...
and later in the article:
QuoteThor is so strong that when he went paranoid he was capable of defeating in battle Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, and Beta Ray Bill all on his own.
Later:
QuoteHe has been able to react fast enough to catch bullets out of mid air, hit the Silver Surfer etc.

I think Silver Surfer must be the winner in this battle.. He can manipulate thor's molecular......

Thor is da man! Vote for Thor!

Thor can manipulate molecules too. He did this to Absorbing Man, turning him into harmless gas.

Thor has beaten Galactus by himself.

I think Thor takes this.

As I said earlier. Silver Surfer stands no chance.

well, thor has won, as I think he should. he has centuries of experience and is the most powerful superhero of the Marvel Universe right now. I tried to be as impartial as I could in the topic, but now that the poll is over I can say it. Thor would beat any superhero of both marvel and DC nowadays!

Any? Like, for example, Sentry?

sure he would, he's at least just as powerful, with thousands of times more experience, a more skilled fighter and last but not least, he's SANE
