Interesting, the beam is only one part? I wonder what happens when it hits. Start with Jean and then developing more Phoenix like powers? That could really be the case... If reversed it will be awkward.

Phoenix powers are a must with a costume like that :D And I like the fact that her powers are more aggressive and Sue is way more into defense. So they can balance each other out :D

Yeah Jean sounds very good. I have noticed that the M'Kraan Crystal is home to the White Hot Room so maybe when she died she is in their and you have to get the shards to build a doorway to help her get out.

now i am sure that Jean's TK move is a grab...

according to Dan Tanguay...

Quote@tevyrich Jean has a great telekinetic "grip" move against enemies and can telekinetically lift and throw massive objects.11:21 PM Jul 24th from web in reply to tevyrich

hmm... but that would mean it's only close range. isn't tk supposed to help you throw things around from a distance rather than close range? perhaps her grab is a tk move but not her only tk move. Aren't there any more demo videos of her?

Not necessarily close range...
I hope they make it so that she can just target to someone and then start throwing him all over the place. Or alternatively throw other people/objects to the target.

Ah well, if only they would give everyone as many powers as in XML2.  :( But it's just four. That sucks :( :(
Trust is like a mirror, you can fix it if it's broken, but you can still see the crack on that motherf*cker's reflection

But like in XML1 you have a lot of upgrading to do and that makes the power worthwhile.

I agree with marvelfan12345 and prefer it the way it was in legends 1. The less powers the better. When a character has too many powers, the chances are you'll find that same power repeated in other characters and i really hate that. It takes away from each characters originality i.e Hulk charge, Collosus charge Thing charge, Juggernault charge or Nightcrawler sword whirlwind, Deadpool Sword Whirlwind, Black Panther SWord Whirlwind e.t.c Every character should be unique and different from the other. With only four power sets it will force the programmers to really concerntrate and focus on making every character special even if they do share similare melee or projectile techniques like Jugs and hulk for e.g Difference is key.

Looking forward to playing with Jean. The only thing i'm not thrilled about is that costume she's wearing. Erhh!!! They should have dressed her in her classic ninties costume. That would have been better. Shes been rocking that green phoenix costume since legends 1

Man I could agree with you any more. I think they should have 6 powers per person. To much and as you said you see the power repeated, but to little and you would get boried so quickly. And Jean shouldn't wear the green phoenix but instead her ninties or Marvel Girl the one with green dress and yellow mask, she wore it in the Dark Phoenix Saga in the X-Men Cartoon Series.
Life, it's a simple thing; it doesn't shout or scream or even ignore you. No life takes what it gets, it expects that it is fate, it expects that the only thing stopping it's self is its self. But what if, what if the only thing stopping you from becoming you is some-one you love. That's my life...

The Phoenix costume is her most known and popular and her 90s would look weird compared to other character's modern costumes. The Phoenix was the best choice. I'm quite sure her 90s and New X-Men are alternate skins. The last is either White Phoenix, Dark Phoenix, or Marvel Girl.

I disagree with that completely. When I think of Jean I think of the classic yellow and blue strip she wore in the nineties and I think alot of people do. Only a serious Jean fan would think of her phoenix strip. I don't think of the phoenix costumes at all.  To me the Phoenix costume looks very weird indeed. Especially if her main powers are going to consist of telekinesis and telepathy. It sends mixed messages. With that costume people will be expecting her to be the Armageddon, fire consuming, high flying goddess almighty that can disintegrate you with a thought. Here she is just Jean Grey because that was WHO they announced. Not Phoenix-The sun feeder. So give us the Jean Grey we all know and love. Yeah I know narvelfan12345 your gonna say Jean and Phoenix are the same but to me there not and to a lot of people they not either. Yeah I may have issues with the whole Jean/Phoenix thing but I actually believe I'm making a valid point. If they would have announced 'Phoenix' is in the game then that costume would have been acceptable. They announced 'Jean Grey' so that costume is totally unacceptable as a default costume. That's my opinion anyways

Well that is her main costume now. When she comes back do you think she will be in her 90s costume? They are going for a current look not the 80s or 90s. So her current look is Phoenix or White Phoenix.

Well that's a BIG shame if you ask me. Hopefully she'll have her mid-nineties costume as a supporting one.

Yeah her 90s should be alternate but to me the Phoenix is defintally her default.

I totally agree with you on this.

Jean and The Phoenix are totally different for me too.

But I really can't see the 90's outfit in this game (although I wouldn't mind it being available) it's just kinda old.

The Phoenix outfit is more modern.

I have no powers, my body cannot fly. But I no longer mind, for in my heart and soul -- where it truly matters -- I soar higher than the stars!
