What characters cant you live without and would hate to switch out
For me it would be
:punisher_logo: :capamer: :ifist: :thor:
:wolverine: :daredevil: :cyclops: :colossus:
:humant:(dont care for him but he's powerful)
:iceman: :ghostr: :archangel: :madrox: :hulk_icon:

I think there's already a topic about this. But anyways, here's my current roster.

01. Rogue (wearing Blaw's visor bolton)
02. Cyclops
03. Ghost Rider
04. Daredevil (with the baton swing add on)
05. Thor
06. Captain America
07. Wolverine
08. Gambit
09. Psylocke
10. Surge
11. Deadpool
12. Polaris
13. Silver Surfer
14. Storm
15. Invisible Woman (with flying ability)
16. Spider-Man
17. Iron Man
18. Magneto (DarkMark's)
19. Iceman
20. Punisher
21. Mr. Fantastic
22. Hulk
23. Thing
24. Human Torch
25. Moon Knight
26. Colossus
96. Dark Phoenix (Matt's)

The thing is, which characters will you have always in. Once you start playing your 4th playthrough or so, only a handful of characters are recurring.
For me, those are :
Hulk, Magneto, Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Deadpool and Spider-Man. I take them out sometimes, but they stay on my team more often than not.

Hulk, Magneto, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, Deadpool. Those are chars that I stick to each time. Following up by the rest of the X-Men, who I only use in certain parts of the story. The rest, varies from time to time.

Warmachine is also one I keep on the roster, and like the rest of the X-Men, will be ready to be switched with an active hero.

Magneto, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Invisible Woman, Scarlet Witch, Iceman, Silver Surfer, Storm, Human Torch. These are the ones I have always.
Nightcrawler, Jean and Iceman are must-haves, because those are my favourite characters plus they are very fun to play as. I might change some of the others but I always have those three in my roster

i'v actualy been switching out characters for themed teams. i'm currently on x-men. might trie a brotherhood/dark x-men later.

For me, Deadpool, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Venom, Wolverine are must have in my roster.

I often use the random character generation feature of Heroselect to mix things up, but when I choose my own roster, I always include:

:vision: Vision
:quicks: Quicksilver
:genis: Captain Marvel
:humant: Human Torch
:northstar: Northstar
:silvers: Silver Surfer

Also, I WOULD include these three heroes once their mods are totally complete:

Black Bolt
Crystal
Valkyrie
