what to call new year?

I agree with you! "Twenty-Ten" sounds kinda weird!

I think it's a matter of habits! we've saying it for a decade, to change it would sound strange...

I have no idea what I should calll it. Last year was 09 for me (Null-Neun in german), but just "ten" sounds strange.

I think '010 sounds interesting... "Twenty ten" only sounds good if it's something like "2012" or something.
