Has there been anything about Spider-Man in this game? Is he on the game?

He is but, not until his gameplay trailer out w/ Albert Wesker's gameplay (like i said to anyone, that's not Frank West we saw on the teaser trailer). Capcom's confirmed that Spider-Man is accepted to be playable. I think Capcom still progressing on Spider-Man & finding the ENG & JPN VA for Spider-Man. I hope the VA is:
ENG: Neils Patrick Harris (again from SM:SD, who voiced Amazing)
JPN: Takeru Shibaki (an actor plays on Gaoranger as GaoBlue. He is known did well on Spider-Man dubs on various games from Spider-Man The Movie to Spider-Man 3)

It's not.
That's the leaked list that was found long time ago, but it was recently confirmed that Mr. Fantastic (and the rest of the F4), Emma Frost and many other from that list would not be in.
Though it would be a cool surprise if at the end the list is correct lol, still clasic characters from this game like Storm or Rogue are missing...

Unfortunately it isn't since the entire FF have been confirmed to not be. It would be weird having one of the members next to Super Skrull. BTW I know that I posted the list above saying that Emma and others would not be playable but I actually found that from another forum, so does anybody have the official page saying that those characters won't be in?

Characters confirmed by Niitsuma to be absent from the game have so far included the monsters Tyrant and Nemesis of the Resident Evil  series, citing concerns that their inclusion would change the game's content rating, as well as the primary members of Marvel's Fantastic Four, who were excluded at the company's suggestion for currently undisclosed reasons. However, the more recent announcement of Super-Skrull means that all of the Fantastic Four's powers will be available in one character, thus explaining their omission. Seth Killian has stated that Amingo will not appear. Other characters confirmed to be absent by Niitsuma include Daredevil, Emma Frost, Gene, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Phoenix Wright, and characters from Rival Schools and Power Stone. Niitsuma has also stated that about a third of the potential roster will consist of characters who did not appear in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.  Writer Frank Tieri has confirmed that Marvel has allowed for full use of their library of characters for storyline purposes, and that several non-playable characters such as the Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, and Man-Thing will make appearances in the endings. Niitsuma has recently confirmed that Doctor Strange, Demitri, and Cyclops will not be in the game as playable characters.

Ryota Niitsuma is the producer and director of this game.
It's a shame because I was especially happy because the inclusion of Daredevil and Emma, who are new to the franchise, and also for the Rival Schools and Resident Evil characters who are awesome as well.
But who knows? maybe they will give us a big surprise at the end.
Ahh well, there's always Mugen lol, you can add your favorites characters there lol and they have an interesting project on progress called Proyect X ^^
But enough of that, I'll stay on topic

Yeah. If Amingo is not appear, someone liked Nomimaru, female SonSon, Ruby Heart & orbed Abyss wont be appeared as well. We do know those original characters on that series appears in 1 game only. See the characters list of the series on the wikipedia.
