XML1 PS2, XML2 PS2 and MUA1 PS2 Skins and Skeletons (added Mannequins)

In this thread you will find downloads for every skeleton and skin in XML1 PS2, XML2 PS2, and MUA1 PS2.  All these skins and skeletons work in both XML2 PC and MUA1 PC, no need to convert. The purpose of these is to play, reskin and mod with them.

Inside you'll find every skin and every skeleton for every NPC and playable in XML1, 2, and MUA1.

I don't have time to write up what number goes with what skin, so I've included in each download the herostat and npcstat entries so you can look up the skeleton and skin number yourself.

MUA1 PS2 Skeletons and Skins

Notes: Now if you are wondering why I'm including a download for the MUA1 PS2 skins and skeletons when the game already has them the reason is 1) PS2 skins are easier to reskin, you just need two offsets. 2) PS2 skins are of different, shinier, brighter quality than the PC skins. 3) XML2 modders and skinners can use the skins in XML2 for mods or to reskin and the skeletons can be used for conversions or for new mods.
UPDATES:
The download says that the 0904.IGB, Spider-Man Stark Armor skin was corrupted. Here is a new uncorrupted Stark Armor skin http://www.mediafire.com/?ikad64aszy7k63p.
The PS2 used different skin segment names for Deadpool's guns and swords. Thankfully Cates has fixed it. So for them to show up properly in XML2 and MUA download and use this instead https://www.sendspace.com/file/biaey4

****There's already a copy of this in the XML2 section, but I decided to post it here for those that don't visit the XML2 section, which IMO you should because some of the stuff there also works in MUA1****

Thanks for posting here too.
I would recomend to put the "this is not a mod" line to avoid confusion (like in the MUA2 assets topic ):)
Phoenix Force: No. He loves Emma Frost.  He loves me.
Jean Grey: He wants her. Not you. Not US. And now it's time... to leave this behind.
Phoenix Endsong #5

good idea, i just added the line

Maybe this one should in sticky topic liked you did on XML Mod Releases Board. It was valuable things modders liked Mr. Blaw says in MUA2 Assets topic.

Nice!

I went through and replaced all the default MUA skins in my actors folder with the PS2 ones from your download, and everything worked great except one: 0904, Spidey's Stark Armor skin. It said the file was corrupt. Just an FYI.

Thanks for these!

No problem :)

That's weird the original file i uploaded doesnt have this issue, but the download does. I guess it got messed up during the upload. Thanks for letting me know, heres the Spider-Man Stark Armor skin : http://www.mediafire.com/?ikad64aszy7k63p . Let me know if it still gives you issues.

BTW I did the same thing, I like how these look more than the PC ones, my game ran faster and they didnt have the ugly line in the center of their faces.

Thanks! That Stark Armor skin worked just fine--and looks a million times better than the default one!

Most of the skins look sooo much better--Iron Man is the best example, I think. Spidey, Thor, Cage, and others are all vastly improved with the PS2 skins.  The faces on many characters are much more well defined (I noticed storm in that regard).

A couple are a little odd to me. Johnny Storm's face just doesn't look like Johnny to me, for one. Silver Surfer looks a little odd, too. But those are only really issues on the menu. Once you're playing, the skins are awesome.

One question--I didn't replace Deadpool's skins, because I seem to remember there being some kind of fix that was used to hide his weapons or something with some skins the community had done. Maybe that was a long time ago. Do the PS2 deadpool ones work by default?

I agree with everything you said about PS2 skins. Yeah IMO the PC version of Silver Surfer is better than the PS2 version. Thor's Classic PC skin is also better IMO since the chest bumps are actual metal bumps on the PC version, while they are just blue circles on the PS2. But other than that I think they are way better.

What you are saying about the Deadpool skins sounds familiar. But I thought the skins that were hexed were the XML2 skins so they could be used in MUA since they used different skin segment names. I use the PS2 skins for Deadpool and have no issue, but i cant remember if i used old ones that had been uploaded by someone else or if they were fresh rips like the ones in this package. Maybe someone can try them out and let us know.

I'll give the Deadpool skins a shot this afternoon. I was just being lazy.  :)

i had problems with ps2 deadpool's skin segments in mua and i got the skin from the xml2 pack

OK, so the only deadpool skins that work "as is" from the packs is his AoA skin from the XML2 pack. The others have skin segment issues.

EDIT: I can fix this, thanks to a quick search of the forums. I'll update the MUA PS2 Deadpool skins and upload them ASAP.

Here are Deadpool's MUA skins in shiny PS2 format, edited to work properly in MUA PC.  Man, they look good.

I threw in his AoA skin from XML2, just for the sake of completeness.

All props to nodoubt_jr (and matt710 as credited in the first post) for the skins from the pack, I only hexed the skin segments.
