A problem with XML1 PS2

I have a problem with X-men legends for PS2 (sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question)
But my PS2 doesn't recognize the CD for it but when I play the other games for PS2 the console recognizes it! Is the CD my problem I just bought it a few weeks ago.....
