Another Jean Story I see.... This is getting old, the only thing I like is Storm hair cut

Well Jean's death was only the reason of why the X-men disbanded, she's supposed to appear only on the first episode and perhaps on some flashbacks during the entire show. This is supposed to be darker than WATX, so I guess that she will stay dead.

I think Emma was part of the Hellfire Club and was in Jean's mind to help Mastermind's control. She looks malicious there and Scott sees her and warns Jean of the woman behind her before Emma dissappears. Doesn't look at all like Emma is trying to help Jean. I don't think Scott really gets a good look at Emma so the X-Men don't suspect her.

Also in the original storyline Emma never used her telepathy to control Jean. She made a device that allowed Mastermind to plant illusions in Jean's head. Jean thought they were from Proteus so she dismissed them but eventually she was entranced to Mastermind. Xavier mentions Mastermind in the Anime show so Mastermind probably started to seduct Jean to the dark side and Emma finished it off when Jean was vulnerable.

I'm saying that she might be helping her because I still don't get it how they will accept her if she was implied on Jean's death, perhaps it's like The Storm said, she was helping with them (the hellfire club), realized that she was wrong and at the end tried to help Jean, I don't know lol.
And I said "control" because both Cyclops and Xavier said that she was mind controled, not influenced, that's why I said that I don't understand how an omega level telepath can be controled by another with less power, and why Jean never noticed the mind control then? If that's the case I'll assume that her telepathy is weaker here.

Anyway will see how this turn, I really have hope for this show, I liked that Storm seems to have a main role and actually do something (unlike WATX when she was part of the background), and Wolverine is not that important. I'm seriously hope that Cyclops stop crying over Jean in every single media that is released... come on she died and she wants you to live!
Phoenix Force: No. He loves Emma Frost.  He loves me.
Jean Grey: He wants her. Not you. Not US. And now it's time... to leave this behind.

Being darker doesn't mean that dead people don't come back especially since anime is known for their resurrections. I found it interesting that Jean is in the opening credits so I assume that she will be in flashbacks and by the end she will return as Dark Phoenix and the X-Men will save her yet again.

Xavier said she was being controlled and mentioned Mastermind. I'm assuming that like in the comics he seduced her and when she becomes vulnerable Emma takes over (that part is not in the comics as Emma was in a coma thanks to Jean :)) . If its like the comics maybe Jean just gained her full power and that is why she can be controlled because she isn't used to it. In the early UXM issues when Jean became Phoenix she was able to weaken Magneto and he realized that Jean was more powerful. He won the fight however because Jean was still new to the power and didn't know how to use it. For all the powers that telepaths have, they can still be controlled. Its happened to Xavier, Jean, Betsy, Emma, Rachel, etc. and it will continue to happen because it is an overused plot device by writers.

I'm also glad that Storm is now a main character. In WATXM Storm probably had about 5 lines and was the first to be taken out of action in every battle (although the X-Men recognized her power). To me Storm and Jean are the most important X-Women so I've always felt that they should have a big role (just not hog the spotlight all the time). Storm has finally gotten that role.

You have a point here, lol, but still If that's the case I don't get how she was accepted into the team later, ahh can't wait to see the second episode to find more about this ^^.

And yeah, I like that Storm is has more to say instead of just create some lighting bolts and a big tornado, I assume that Jean's lack of importance on the recent media (and rise of another characters like Emma Frost and Kitty Pryde) it's because she's currently dead ;)

You also have a point here, I assumed that it was Emma because the outfit, it looks too similar to her Astonishing costume, but yeah now that you mention that, it can be Selene too, she has telepathy and has used a costume similar to Emma's astonishing in Uncanny X-men 452:

I see where your coming from Whiteking, because why let Emma into the team, if she was behind Jean's death, so something isnt right, or that was Selene.

Someone who agrees! Finally lol, but I mean come on, lets let the killer of one of our favorite members of the team on to our team, OK! lol

Yeah it doesn't make sense to me, in comics she never killed Jean, nor was part or responsible for her million deaths lol even in WATX she actually wanted to help  and not screw up Jean ^^

It does seem weird that Jean (an omega level mutant) could be mind controlled, but as powerful as she is as the Phoenix, we know she is also fragile, so it could be done, I guess.

Anyway, Storm is much better, I agree, like how they made it about everyone, not just Wolvie or Jean and whatnot, it looks promising.

Yeah, like all the Inner Circle wanted the Phoenix force for them selves, but Emma wanted to help

:P, I totally agree, Wolverine already had his own show, so if they make the show about him it would be stupid, so I have hopes for this also! And I think Emma pretty much always wants to help, but just ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time, putting everything bad up on her
