Well I wouldn't say she always wants to help. After all she let Shaw kill her two "friends", Rebecca and Anne (I think it was Anne) and seemed to be smiling the whole time. Whether she was laughing at their murder or just too drunk I'm not sure.
Although since Fraction wrote it I think its better off to be ignored. I've training myself to believe that his run doesn't exist xd.

Even if you ignore Fraction's run she did kill three of her goons in UXM 129. Failure is not an option for her.

She didn't kill the Hellions though. Fitzroy and his Sentinels killed them (and put Emma in yet another coma).

I wonder if there are other X-Men in the show besides Scott, Jean, Logan, Hank, and Ororo. Like if Iceman, Angel, Kitty, Rogue, Gambit, etc. were once a part of the team.

I hate that everyone believes that Emma is going to freak out if Jean comes back, I mean I'm pretty sure that she moved on and when Jean returns she will do the same. Why continue this drama about them?, sure they will not be best friends forever, but they can show some respect for each other.
Cyclops issue is done really, he loves Emma and she loves him, it's cannon, Jean migh help them to be together at the beggining, but you can't force someone to love another person. That would be the only reason for both women to be bitchy, but again it's done, and I'm pretty sure that when Jean come back she will find someone else.
I don't see why there should be any problem between both.

I don't think Emma will kill Jean or hate her. Emma really owes everything she has to Jean and Shaw so she should be thankful (but she'll never tell Jean that).
As for Jott I think it is inevitable they will be back. Even if he doesn't leave Emma immediately like he did with Maddie, they'll return together. They always have before and worse things separated them (like death, turning evil, clones, and genetic children). It may not even be until 2020 but they will one day reunite. They are like Ross and Rachel, just more serious. I consider Emma as Emily. Both have snobby british accents xd. The whole reason Scott even picked Emma is because Jean forced him to move on otherwise his love for Jean was so strong that even dead he couldn't leave her. Jott is just a matter of time.

I think both can get along on the same team, especially if they share the same goal: help mutant kind.

That would be a bad move really, both characters has grown incredible well (until fraction took over cyclops and made him the mutant ruler) after they broke up. Jean finally become a strong and confident character, and get her back to Scott would put her on the damsel in distress position again.
Yeah Jean and Scott were perfect for each other but that's no longer the case. It's not longer the 90's remember? They grew appart and are no longer compatible.
And Jean may have forced Scott to move on, but again, you can't force someone else to love other. Also Emma/Scott is not like Jean/Scott 2.0, that's Fraction couple, but almost any other writer actually understand the complex relationship between them and write them in a correct way, again you have to read Whedon and Ellis run of Astonishing X men and not only focus on the misleading run that Fraction writes.


But again we are missing the main topic with our discussion (which never ends) what I wanted to say before this is that I don't see any reason of why Emma and Jean can work together on a team, in a cartoon, anime or comic  or any other media. Now let's focus again on the anime, before this turns out on another Jean topic.

True, I forgot about New X-Men, see Emma and Jean are 2 of my most favorite characters and in my fan fiction they work very well together, and yes if they have the same goal I think they will do fine, I just think they cant forget Emma's past of being evil, and yes Jean has been evil also, but the Dark Phoenix is aganist her will, but I think they would make a great team!

I don't understand how Jean has become a strong character without Scott considering how she has been dead for 6 years or such. 
Other couples like Reed and Sue seem to be fine without making Sue be a damsel in distress so I don't understand that point either.
Actually Scott did not say I love you to Emma as soon as Jean forced him to move on. He gradually fell in love with her while Emma had already been in love with him. But who would he pick when it comes between the two, Emma the woman he has just grown to love or Jean, the woman he has loved from the beginning of time. Marvel loves Scott and Emma together but they have recognized Jean as his true soulmate. Even before Jean knew Scott it was Jean who gave Scott the strength to live when he was all alone at the orphanage. It was Jean who Scott spent 10 years with in an apocalyptic future raising their son.
I understand that Scott and Emma may now love each other but even in Endsong Scott knew that Jean was his first true love, after Jean had already made him move on. I doubt that Scott will leave Emma as soon as Jean comes back (and I wouldn't want that to happen either) but it will happen eventually. These two characters cannot stay apart even if it takes years. Scott and Emma do have something that Scott and Jean don't have, but Jott just has more. They've been through so much more and that is why Scott and Emma will always be in their shadow. That is what has made Scott and Emma so interesting but that is also why they won't last because Scott and Jean will end up drifting back together.
Anyway as you said we should get back on topic. We've already been through this discussion about 10 times before anyway so we're not really missing anything.

For the anime show I have heard that there will only be 12 episodes in the first season so I wonder if we will get to see all the villains who were in the end credits like Juggernaut, Mystique, Stryfe, etc.
