Kinda weird seeing a marvel team-up video game roster without Spider-Man or Wolverine, but I'm sure they'll live. Also, I know that an actual Chaste team would be Stick, Stone, Shaft, and Claw. It was a legitimately difficult decision on whether or not to sub out Shaft and Stone for Daredevil and Elektra, but I think it would hurt deep inside to see the chaste included without at least the man without fear.

My bad for bumping this topic up, but a lot has changed since the last post. Now we can have up to 50 characters! (Remember, you can use the 50 Roster Hack and the new 36 Roster Hack in connection, just in case in some games you don't want 50.) That said, what would be your ideal roster of 50?

For me, I can only think of three that would have as many as 50: my ideal Marvel roster, X-Men, and Marvel & DC United.

This is meant to be a complete Raven intended roster for the playables they wanted for Marvel Ultimate Alliance so the whole entire alliance is here.

Since the roster is intended to be made up of the officially intended characters, I researched the game and the internet for all of these characters. The reasons for the new inclusions are included below the list. I came up with this idea because my dream roster has always been the full alliance of characters intended for playability plus I chose an extra set of 4 xmen that give us the rest of the most popular set of mainline mutants who weren't already included.

14 spots were left after the official 36 so i thought to research throughout the game very heavily and also in the prototype. There was also an online interview with some confirmations.

Cut characters:
Longshot and Ironfist were under the character info xmlb file marked as platform = psp meaning they were meant to be psp exclusives.

Psylocke, Punisher, and Gambit were all mentioned in an official interview for the game where they were confirmed as cut.

Captain Britain had an official cut psp model and a cut conversation on the pc files so its unclear if he was to be a psp exclusive originally since the pc version was possibly used for testing characters.

Samus and link were confirmed through video evidence of their playability for the wii version of the game.

Gba striker/ Cut:
Namor was a gba exclusive and had a bit in the mua credits where a joke was made about him not being playable.

Gba striker:
Jean grey was a gba exclusive

I confirmed 10 characters for the alliance which made for 46 spots with the other 36. Had to look for 4 more so i chose the mainline xmen who arent playable- angel, rogue, beast, emma frost.

This roster is based on an idea Tubular Spaceman had called the "50-B Roster," a take on the MUA roster that includes characters who were planned but unrealized to fill all 50 slots. This roster is an impossible "dream" version of the roster that also includes X-Men Legends characters for a true celebration of the history of Raven Software's Marvel Action RPGs and their modding communities (more may be added in the future to represent future MUA games and other similar games from around this time period). Each category has a running character count up to that point as well.
